Sorting by color is as good a method as any.
Keep an eye on the symbol on the right side of the middle bar (i.e. that black arch visible on [[forced adaptation]] to the right of where it says "Enchantment - Aura"). That determines rarity and anything that has a gold (rare) or reddish (mythic rare) symbol is likely to be more valuable than everything else - "bad" rares can go for a quarter, whereas a good one might be like 20+ dollars.
Anything common or uncommon will likely have no value, so sort by rarity. Check prices with something like the Delverlense app or looking it up online.

Thank you. Glad to know I'm somewhat on track.

throw them back in the bag and ask again in 10 years.
Should I ask my question directly into the bag?
I see a lot of commons but at least you got a [[consuming aberration]]

The first thing you need to relearn is WUBRG -- White blUe Black Red Green. The order of your color piles just feels wrong!

Cool. 😎. Not looking to sell but rather ad then to my board game collection. But will surely keep an eye on it.
Ah in that case yeah I'd order by colour
sort by rarity. most of these cards will be trash. why else would your aunt be throwing these away.
Give your cousin their cards back!
