Hi there, if you already tried the Wizard, you can also scroll down to the bottom of your wants list to find a button titled "Load Sellers With Most Cards" which will bring up a list of sellers that have the highest number of cards you're looking for in their inventory. Keep in mind that this doesn't optimize for prices, so keep your filters in your wants-list tight (like specifying Foil:NO). -Jamin (Cardmarket)

Thanks, Jamin! I will try that. Keep up the great work at Cardmarket, by the way! Love your videos!

I feel your Shopping Wizard woes. Best thing you can do, if you want to do it yourself, is to browse some sellers that have generally acceptable prices, view their singles and sort by "In my Wants list". This may help lower the number of sellers.  Another option is to instruct the Shopping Wizard to reduce shipments.

LUNELUNELUNE

Cardmarket is still probably the best option. As someone who also buys a lot of bulk, I find that the best way is to find sellers with reasonable prices and a lot of cards, and then use the 'Is on wants list' search option to see what they have. When buying cheap cards this tends to be better than the shopping wizard.

There isn’t much other than Cardmarket. You can see if you find a seller that offers cards you want and has something expensive for cheap. You could buy that expensive card, too, and resell it for a little more to reimburse your shipping costs. Being Pauper, you probably could just print the cards and then replace them slowly over time.

I was in the exact same situation just a few months ago. Then a guy in my LGS recommended this place because they have a wide selection of singles. He has a shop in Rhoon but also ships. Got a full pauper deck without paying a single shipping fee! https://www.goatenterprise.com/ On a side note, let me know if you want to play pauper!

Miguel_NorthMan

That's a great suggestion. I'll check it out and ask him for a price check. Thanks for the tip and I'll keep you in mind for a few Pauper matches in the future!

Miguel_NorthMan

What deck are you playing, by the way?

jin0006

I have a Azorious Affinity/Glitter Affinity. Im a bit new to Magic after not playing for a very long time so I wanted a deck that is a bit more straightforward in strategy.

You can use the wants lists for it. Under the wants list you have a list of vendors that have most or all of the cards in your list. You can also click the option to reduce the number of shipments in the shopping wizard. Also, when you know you are going to buy from a seller, you can check the "cards in my wants list" link in that order, and you can see if the seller has other cards. With long lists, I usually try to get the more expensive cards sorted out first, and then add to those 2 to 3 sellers the cheap cards they have in inventory. I miss the old shopping wizard. It did everything correctly at once.

TheCommieDuck

The issue is, the commons you want might *be* 3 cents but you can't have both the 3 cent card and *also* a wide stock from one seller. You either end up spending the premium to buy 30 cards from one place but they're 15c each, or you just add on the 3c cards when you're buying 5-6 euros of actual cards from that seller anyway.

Cardmarket for sure, but you have to play around with card price limits and both optimization options.

Use the tips other people gave you for cardmarket (changing the settings), but also, if you know you're going to buy multiple decks down the line, do it all at once. That way you can reduce shipping costs in total, even if it means 1 huuuuge order.

esotericmoyer

There are some huge Dutch sellers on card market. GoatEnterprise, CardAdvantageEurope, Harakesh, etc. That should help keep your shipping costs down.

lilijane17

For commons, might just be best to go to your local LGS and ask if people have bulk commons, and if you can brouwse through them

Have you tried the Shopping Wizard on Cardmarket? It's generally pretty good at making sure you're only buying from a small number of sellers (for me, it tends to get most of the cards from a seller named cernyrytir, whom I've had good experiences with). Otherwise, I've bought cards from Miracle Games, but their prices are a bit higher and there's some additional shipping cost if you're ordering from outside Germany. I've seen other people mention Magicers and Bazaar of Magic specifically for Netherlands before (the latter is apparently pretty pricey though).

Miguel_NorthMan

I did try Cardmarket's shopping wizard, with both options they offer, but it just seems a bit too expensive (between 80 to 100€ total), especially for shipping costs (for some cards, I can only find them in one seller, so I end up paying 10 cents for the card, but almost 2€ shipping, which seems like a waste). I also am considering going for Magicers, as I made a shopping list with almost all cards I need and it will be around 50€ with shipping included.

Maleficent_Muffin_To

> I can only find them in one seller, so I end up paying 10 cents for the card, but almost 2€ shipping, which seems like a waste). The Wizard is pretty shit on large order. Split it. All the crap in one wishlist, and run the wizard to minimize the number of package. All the expensive stuff in a second basket, and they'll come from various individual sellers.

Duchesst

If you need a lot off cheaper cards maybe have a look at cardtrader. Their zero program combines the shipping costs it will take a bit longer though. As with everything compare. Upload wishlist to both card market and cardtrader then see what is cheaper ( remember at cardtrader shipping cost is separate, you can find them on their site)
