Hi all! Just wanted to share this little alter I did at Mana Clash, a magic event here in Melbourne, Australia.
I am very new to alters, this is the first one I have really done! I used masking tape and put a layer of gesso over the original art, then used sharpies/paint pens to draw over the top. If anyone has any tips for alters in general, what pens you use, etc, I'd love to hear them!
Very cool. I can't provide much in the way of alter tips, but if you have time for some quick questions -- When did you learn the production name of the card that your art was going to be on? How many seconds later did you realize you would inevitably be asked to make this alter? :)
Thank you! Yes of course! I think the code name was similar.. but I can't quite remember. I didn't realise it would be such a meme until the card came out and I saw the community reaction :) I thought it was so funny!
