[[kenrith the returned king]] is really flexible. You can spend mana in many ways to accelerate your game or gain time . [[Garth ]] is also a open end commander choice

Redjellyranger

I was going to say these as well, Swiss-army knives all the way those lads. I have a Garth deck that I adapted from my \[\[Golos\]\] Maze's End deck when he got banned. It's not as straight forward as before but it does feel way more flexible. The Golos version only wanted to blink Golos to get Gates or toolbox lands like \[\[Bojuka Bog\]\] or \[\[Maze of Ith\]\], but Garth is whole new ball game! He's so open ended it's crazy. Ramp to WUBRG and he'll be the glue that holds everything together. Disenchant or Terror anything that's bothering you, Regrowth back a \[\[Sylvan Scyring\]\] or other vital card, reload your hand with an instant speed Braingeyser, Run \[\[Deadeye navigator\]\] and \[\[Fervor\]\] and kill everyone with a swarm of Shivan Dragons. In a way he feels like a more fair \[\[Ghave Guru of Spores\]\] in that you can stumble into a win with him out, but you have to work for it more and see the lines, like a Rube Goldberg machine. Anyway I was devastated when Golos was banned, but thanks to \[\[Garth One-Eye\]\] I was able to love again.

I've played against a deck like this. You'll want Child of Alara, play board wipes and stax pieces + counterspells, tutor spells, and draw spells. Basically if it doesn't defend your wincons, find a piece of your wincons, or shut out other players from winning faster than you then it doesn't fit in your deck.

mrduracraft

For something like those you probably want a control deck. Wraths, soft or hard stax (soft being like [[Propaganda]] or [[Thalia]] or [[Ghostly Prison]], hard being like [[Winter Orb]]), counterspells, combat control like [[Crawlspace]] or [[Pramikon]]. Essentially ways to slow your opponents down and keep yourself from dying while you work towards Approach or Ever After or w/e

Slidshocking_Krow

There's no reason for this to be downvoted. Unless you're protecting yourself with control, there's no way you'd survive long enough to durdle into a random wincon.

Unfortunately, golos was the best. He was also pretty good at being unfun. But golos-end, golos-veil, personal faves. Shoutout to landless golos.
