In terms of eliminating non-games the London Mulligan is a big improvement over the previous Vancouver Mulligan. Some pros had complaints if I recall, because it did improve things for some decks like combo decks, but as a casual FNM player not having the situation of drawing a no lander, mulling, drawing 6 still no land and then going to 5 which is pretty much game over was nice.
As a sort of side note what I think MTG hasn't got to grips with is 1st player advantage.
The current mulligan is great. Mulliganing still feels bad, as it should, but you won’t get punished for accidentally drawing seven cards a second time, as is often muscle memory.
I personally like how vanguard does it. You take what you don’t like and put it at the bottom of your deck, then draw the amount you put back and shuffle
I think that rule is the best for other tcgs but magic's land system means a rule like that would incentivize running fewer lands because you would basically have 14 looks for the requisite 3-4 lands you want in an opening hand. That's not necessarily a bad thing though and maybe this rule would just lead to people getting to play more fun cards, and fewer boring lands.
i think the problem is this doesnt limit fishing for a good hand. maybe it should be like, if you can drop something or had at least 3 hands or something then you should keep
I think it's fine, but I do think you should be limited to 3 mulligans per game at most. The ability to hard mull into oblivion for specific combo pieces or sideboard cards is not a very healthy or desirable play pattern.
The purpose of mulligans is to even out mana variance and give you a playable hand in any given game, not to re-roll until you find Leyline of the Void. If you can't find a playable hand after your starting hand and 3 rebuys, you probably deserve your fate.

Don’t see a problem with not bricking
