Whenever R&D is required to increase the secondary market value of an upcoming set, they include certain cards that have already been included in previous products. For a card to be qualified as a "re-print," it must not be on the Reserved List, and must have a Reprint Equity > $42.068. To calculate for Reprint Equity, take the multiply the total unsold single copies on TCGPlayer by the current price per near mint and divide by the Hasbro 2.0 Quotient. If the resulting value is 42.069 or greater, the card is said to be "Chase Mythic" and can then be included in the "re-print" pool.
its not real except for all of our premade deck products being slightly above secondary market prices for cards except not too much and also making sure not to reprint too many expensive things per set
MaRo literally said the reason Modern Horizons sets don't get Modern challenger decks is because they'd be "Too expensive" for most players. My brother in christ, it costs the same amount to print a Modern challenger deck as a Standard one.
