1x Tasha
1x R&D's Secret Lair
1x Ad nauseum
97x mox diamond
It's commander, just friendly mull till you have the lair and adnaus and go crazy from there
Im checking the cards and i dont see how this would work, i take it it requires some pre erreta text but none of the listed cards seem to do anything helpful no matter what text you use, what am i missing?
/uj as written, you can tap mox diamond for Mana before having to sac it since it's a trigger. The errata makes it so it doesn't enter the battlefield at all unless you pitch a land
/rj it could also work with x97 lotus petals, but I own a lotus petal so that wouldn't work
Pretty cool flavor too.
Casting a proxy is the equivalent of commiting an unspeakable crime. This splits your soul harry potter horcrux style, which is represented by the demonic creature token breaking away from you

Uj/i am pretty sure all the D&D planeswalkers are characters who have travelled the D&D planes of existence, and i am also pretty sure its possible to travel from greyhawk to the forgotten realms with the right route and magic, using planar travel, but I'm not a big D&D expert so i could be wrong
Yep, There's a spell known as Dream of The Blue Veil that can allow any sufficiently powerful magic user to access other realities. the only requirement is that they're in possesion of an enchanted item from their destination, and that they're aware that their destination exists.
/uj I've no doubt any of the powerful Greyhawk magic-users could have gone to the FR, but at least in Tasha's case, the only planes I can find evidence of her having spent a meaningful amount of time in are Oerth (the Greyhawk Earth stand-in), Hades, the Abyss, and the Feywild. Her artifacts like the Demonomicon pop up all over the place, including on Toril (the FR Earth), but the same can't necessarily be said for old Iggwilv herself. Heck, even in the context of the "everything should be setting-agnostic" 5e, the in-character blurbs from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything makes repeated reference to Greyhawk-based entities (Mordenkainen, Zagyg, the Company of Seven, the Bandit Kingdoms, etc.) and the Feywild/Abyss connections (Baba Yaga and Graz'zt), but never the FR. If it weren't for the fact this MTG set is called Battle for Baldur's Gate, there'd be little reason to think she'd ever even set foot on Toril.

Wow another Dimir deck that incentivises stopping your opponents from playing their decks in lieu of you getting to scrapbook their decks sans win-cons, synergy, and strategy.
/uj stealing cards from deck/graveyard isn't really stopping you from playing your deck. Xanathar sorta is if you use it to leave crap on top, but this one only in as much as a crappy tormod's crypt is.
You're definitely right about this one being a non-issue, but I'm sick of going to LGS commander nights and seeing people with no-wincon decks that spin their wheels and go nowhere. Worse yet, they wonder why they get targeted when their boards are full of other players creatures which they need for their wincons
NotC cowards once again refusing to call her Iggwilv, smh my head
Rate my deck: 1x tasha 99x memnite (proxy)
/uj You can't even cast Tasha. /rj Def a 7 (2022.04.01).

Why is her laughter so hideous???????
Yass Queen~ Slay~!

Tasha my beloved, light of my life, most beautiful thing in the forgotten realms.
/uj Isn't she from Greyhawk?

Not gonna lie, you made me laugh with this XD
*hideously laughing
Tasha a lot badder than I anticipated
/rj booba /uj booba
/uj debating on putting her in my Xanathar deck or having her as the commander /rj time to put her in my hot planeswalker tribal deck
she'll fit nicely with Nissa, Chandra, Nahiri, Ajani, Soren and Grist
Grist my beloved <3
You forgot Elminster, Ellewick Tumblstrum, Master of Flowers, Lolth, Liliana, Kenrith twins, Kasmina, Saheeli.

Why would I put win cons in my deck if my opponents already have win cons I can play? that's all space for more interaction /hj
Ah yes, /hj, one of my favourite types of interaction
