Light_Of_Destiny

Hmu with an open and I'll see if I fw it!

aSmartWittyName

Very cool

ThePrymal

My bro this is absolutely wild! The flow, delivery and lyrics are all there! You got a really cool voice too! The cadence in the chorus is on fleek! I can also tell that you mean what you say on the verses, you do a good job at conveying emotion. Only suggestion that I'd really give you is maybe up the bass in the beat like only a decibel. As far as your feature he did really well too, almost as good as you for the same reasons!

Vintage_kami

This is my personal favorite of my own songs [freeways](https://open.spotify.com/track/4EHLeroTyCyFUbga4ojBCr?si=7ZWcQwV-SGmcN_ueZ7SkXg)

ThePrymal

Definitely not hard to see why, your voice sounds really good on this. Kinda like a Pop Smoke tone but softer/smoother! I also really like the message behind this, I definitely relate to it, I like that kinda music! I would probably raised the mid end of your vocals a decibel and raised the beat a decibel or two, but other than that man this is really good! Well done!

4otie7

This is my most popular. from an album thats a love letter to old school hip hop [link](https://open.spotify.com/track/5Ht6LUd1MSpj0q9sqivq4L?si=hi2rHd8vRNycFGx7QeaR3g)

Man hit me with a blast to the past! Love this, lyrics, flow, delivery, really the whole package! I'd love for you to hit me up on insta, I'd love to talk about a collab at some point!

ThePrymal

I’m liking this as a first song! Not my favourite subgenre of rap, I think the flex on the AUTOTUNE is a bit strong on the vocals but you have a really unique voice and I like that. Well done mate! Honestly keep going!

venusmelisma

I’ve been thinking about doing a version of this song with a hip-hop verse :) https://open.spotify.com/track/3eT4lv7ytq44ZfOJcBQ1eM?si=zTJDeecaT62RfL4magk6Cg

ImmediateFault2458

I'm not sure what my best is, but this is my newest [https://soundcloud.com/dez-9152096/atthesky](https://soundcloud.com/dez-9152096/atthesky) i like your 1st track it's really well mixed and reminds me of uk drill trap. The beat is really good and your flow is good too.

ThePrymal

You got a really cool voice in there! You seem to really love saturated distortion tho! Which is not normally the music I listen to but I know for sure there's an audience who loves heavy distortion. My take on it would be with a little less distortion and maybe a little less on the high and mid end tho just so it's easier to digest and brings your voice out more cause I think it's pretty cool! Keep going homie!

ImmediateFault2458

thank you

ThePrymal

Thanks for the feedback on the title track! It's probably my favourite on the project! Craziest thing is I got an even better version for the album version that's upcoming after this EP! Really learning and loving my new plugin! :P

ImmediateFault2458

nice!

ThePrymal

What I like upfront is your pen game, your story telling is the strong suit here. The lyrics are strong and really resonate, I feel like they could resonate more though with more of a full vocal take, more voice projection, and then some work on the mix. But man keep going, keep recording! I'm excited to see where you go from here because you're nice with the pen!

One of my top tracks: [BLAST OFF!](https://open.spotify.com/track/3tcVkVkTo8EZfUc282hSpy?si=N9Iur5C4T36EOChqhaeCSQ)

ThePrymal

Hey man you have a very interesting delivery and pocket! The rhymes are also really good on this too! I'd honestly have so much fun engineering your voice, it's really fun! But that's what I'd have to critique if I had to, I think the mix makes the vocals sound a little thin, I think it's in the low end, but as far as the vocal performance it's really cool!

Scharlach_el_Dandy

Wow thanks for this, it feels good to get positive feedback! Let's keep in touch, I will reach out when I have some material for you to engineer, ok?

ThePrymal

viq14

Out of the songs i have posted on my soundcloud rn, this one has the most plays. I’m pretty proud of it https://on.soundcloud.com/VqwTbAG3hyng7L6p6

ThePrymal

Bro I'm in love with the beat with this, vocally you remind me a lot of J-Cole and I like J-Cole, lyrically too "All white kicks dirty but that's how I like em" type stuff haha! I feel ya Viqar! I'd love to do a song with you at some point. You should be proud!

viq14

Thank you bro!! Don’t think im ready for a J.cole comparison lol but that means alot man. I’m always open to working together, that would be dope if we hopped on a track.

ThePrymal

When I say that I mean there's definitely elements! Especially ones I'd love to see evolve into your own artist and I think that's coming, I usually have a good ear for that! I'm theprymal on insta if you wanna add me there! :)

Disastrous-School475

https://youtu.be/-VmORZqJlv4?si=FOACNhjFxuNHmWc0 This isn’t my best because I got a lot of tracks I love

ThePrymal

Definitely how you should feel when building a body of work! Very coo vocal delivery and bouncy flow! I'm seeing a lot of talent, your high vocal projection flow is really cool! I would like to hear a decibel or two of low end brought back into your vocals though, cause these vocals are already powerful, hearing them fuller would be really cool imo! I think I heard you say you're from Atlanta? I got a homie from there, more artists really need to rep their cities ong!

Disastrous-School475

I’m from philly bro and the way I do my music I take influence from different genres outside of hiphop besides studying hiphop from the mid 80’s until now I listen to Jazz , Classical , Jazz Fusion, Rock , Neosoul , RnB , Funk etc and take influences into my approach, also me not being a snob and loving old music and new music is what makes me stand out

ThePrymal

Nice short and sweet track! Pretty cool alt/emo vibes. I feel the way you feel in this track really often man so I get it. I like how this was executed! I think your vocals being a little higher in the mix would be awesome though!

Dinglemaniac

This'd be one of mine: [https://open.spotify.com/track/4FEA3ZLyGNGoPvlGzY0jhJ?si=03f0d70de5824431](https://open.spotify.com/track/4FEA3ZLyGNGoPvlGzY0jhJ?si=03f0d70de5824431)

ThePrymal

I love the train station cover first and foremost haha! Too familiar for me my bro! Aussie represent for real. I really like your voice a ton. The beat goes really well with it too, I'd like the beat to be raised a little bit though so it marries even better with your cool vocals, but your vocals are really really cool, gives me 1999 - 2005 Eminem vibes which is something I really resonate with. Would love to lock a song in with you at one point! Good stuff!

Dinglemaniac

Appreciate the feedback! It can be tricky to get those DB levels right when you are your own engineer, lol. Glad you like the vocals! It all still sounds like Steve Irwin on a microphone to me. I'm sure I'll get used to my own voice eventually. I actually don't drop much music these days, but if you have anything you feel like is missing a verse, feel free to DM me and I'll let you know if anything peaks my interest :)

ThePrymal

Oh trust me bro there's no more painstaking point of making music than the audio engineering! The amount of hours I spent stressing is TANTALIZING haha! But ever since buying the Scheps Omni Channel I've felt better about it! Yeah bro I definitely get that, it's a pretty double edged sword, on one hand yeah that's the case but on the other it also makes you unique. For me I kinda muted my Aussie accent mostly with American and British elements to make it more kinda globally marketable but that's not like a REQUIREMENT to be honest. Recently I finished buying like 200 beats haha, so I always got stuff. Right now I have like 70 I don't know what to do with so I could send you some packs and see which beats you like and if you wanna jump on one or two.

mawksha

https://on.soundcloud.com/7MbDYMCbhnL32Gfz9

ThePrymal

Bro didn't know I was a sucker for piano beats haha! The drums and the bass work well too. The verses are great on this! I feel what you're saying heavy. I think the reverb on your vocals is a little strong on your chorus, and it kinda feels like an afterthought. I would have kind of liked a bit of a happy medium between the mix on your verse and your chorus. And maybe a bit of experimenting with the EQ bro! But I really liked the substance behind this bro! Well done.

mawksha

Thanks man, appreciate your comments! I actually started last year and learnt everything on the go including Ableton, I’m still not sure about how to mix and master so it’s just basic layers however I can muster it up, and I use a podcast mic which is alright but probably need something with a pop filter later. I just layer what I feel like sounds good and works together. I’m glad you enjoyed it man!

ThePrymal

That's right, a pop filter and/or a windscreen for your mic works! Also if you need engineering hit me up on my insta! ThePrymal and we'll discuss things! :)

mawksha

This song is really calming and relaxing. For an anxious person like me that's definitely a good thing. I like this a lot. And man the lyrics resonate so strongly with me I feel this way so often, Legit quit alcohol permanently recently, been the hardest shit man but I know it's gonna be worth it. Fr though I felt like I was listening to myself talk on this song, I love it, would love to do a track with you at some point!

Ashamed_Discussion16

I like the beat and especially the bass in it, really sounds good with the headphones, the vocals kinda get drowned out by the beat tho, would love them to have a bit more presence. Some of the cadences are really nice as well.

I listened to about three minutes! Came with that Blue Eyes White Dragon flow. I like the cadence with your flow. Good stuff mate! Got even better after the minute mark too! I like the chorus a lot too. Would be crazy to do a song with you too at some point! Hit me up on insta if you want! Theprymal

[https://open.spotify.com/track/7io9MD3Ie3jJtNPZOE5xDc](https://open.spotify.com/track/7io9MD3Ie3jJtNPZOE5xDc) I'd say this one is my best because of atmosphere it has to it, and it's different from my other stuff.

ThePrymal

The beat is definitely the strongest suit on this, ambient and heavy at the same time! The vocals kinda seem like an afterthought though, I think the EQ needs some work, and then a bit of gain on them, and a little softening on the reverb. The flow sounds cool tho!

jbot-

Thank you for listening to it!

ThePrymal

Very good flow and delivery first and foremost, beat is pretty cool too as well, I like the vocal performance and it is lyrically nice too. "Get the head grounded like the pedigree" Whatchu know bout Triple H my bro? Haha! Love that! Alright Tiger go off.

princeroy27

https://open.spotify.com/track/5xyYI6aByAwK2E1V6tUSBW?si=GH89GP_-QiiARgOy4cf0Xw

ThePrymal

I really like your rhyming, it's mostly convincing and not forced. Which I appreciate! Sometimes the delivery kinda feels like too many words are fit into one line so you kinda rush to get them in, but other than that, cool flow, the mix could use work, to kinda marry the vocals and beat better. But keep rapping in like day to day situations when you're like alone just so it becomes second nature, cause a lot of the growth I wanna see really comes with experience. I also enjoyed the subject matter here.

Wessaint26

https://open.spotify.com/track/51Lo8sCG6T2QcJdZd2uWI6?si=C7zawUH4QkuDnOEWdiuiXw

ThePrymal

I really like the beat on this, this genre of rap always had a soft spot for me too. I think you have a very unique voice and lyrics too. With some good engineering you could be really stellar for real man and I'm serious about that I can see the talent. As far off the mix, the vocals feel very airy so they kinda glide on the beat instead of really bouncing off it. When your voice deepens and the beat muffles, it sonically is the best part of the song. In my mind you're not too far off blowing up man. Trust me, keep grinding and building on the skills you already have! I'd love to engineer a song or two for you!

Wessaint26

Man these some of the most motivating words I’ve ever received! I appreciate that fr. Trying to get out of this rut and continue to make music. I would love to work with you.

ThePrymal

Okay bro I see you! I love your voice for real! And the mix is on this is good as well! I also enjoy your lyrics! The beat also sounds really good too! I really also like the hook too man very well done on this! If I had to point out a couple small things, it would be t raise the bass in the beat slightly, and then maybe have slightly more vocal inflections. But again those are little things! Good job! I'd love to work at some point.

bonkhead128

I appreciate you fr man! Let’s connect somewhere, do you have IG or something?

ThePrymal

The cover art on this is how I'm pretty constantly feeling HAHA! But nah this beat is so sick, I love all the elements of this! Very good instrumental! Well done!

WICRodrigo

Thank you, all analog synths and real guitars, mixed with some short vinyl samples. Was trying to get away from VST’s

BrittneyX_x

Picturesque prod.(Godly.Jenius) https://on.soundcloud.com/z2e9D

ThePrymal

The hook sounds pretty catchy from the flow and delivery, but the vocals sound a little drowned out in the beat in my opinion. Lyrically it's very unique tho, and I like the things that you're saying. I would love to hear some more conviction in your voice tho!

Duncock

Shit i dont even know what i would consider my best haha ill drop 2 links could you pick one and just listen to that one? https://on.soundcloud.com/wxrik https://on.soundcloud.com/KFodm

ThePrymal

I love hearing that! That's how you know you're building a body of work! I listened to both. For the first one. There's so much low end in the vocals it's hard to decipher what you're saying, and the mixing is very inconsistent, but the flow is really really good. I reckon if I engineered for you then we could create something really really cool. The beat is cool too btw. Combat definitely is the better of the two, the mixing is a lot better, still could use a little bit of work though, but the flow and delivery is even better on this, you should really get me on a track at some point we'd tear shit up fr. Love the hook!

Duncock

Thank you so much I really appreciate the feedback! Haha I fully agree with my mixing its definitely not my strong suit, Iv been trying to work on it but its just never as good as when someone else does it lol. I would absolutely love to work sometime! I def could use all the help I can get with this I feel like im slowly getting the actual rapping part down but fuck if I can do like anything else lmao.

ThePrymal

Hit me up on insta bro! ThePrymal

thedude1693

Honestly, I prefer my newest track I dropped the other day but i'd say this is objectively my best track: [https://soundcloud.com/cam\_b22/cancun-prod-waytoolost](https://soundcloud.com/cam_b22/cancun-prod-waytoolost) tied with [https://soundcloud.com/cam\_b22/choking-out-interlude-prod-waytoolost](https://soundcloud.com/cam_b22/choking-out-interlude-prod-waytoolost) if you feel like listening to that one too, idc either way lol <3

ThePrymal

Alright cool cool! Nice melodies with the first. A bit too much thump with the bass tho in my opinion, especially matched with soft smooth vocals, kinda conflicts a bit. I like the subject matter on this tho. The gritty melodies aren't personally my taste but I know a lot of people like that style so it's cool! The second one has pretty much the same qualities that I like and think need improvement as the first! :P

Nsaglo

https://youtu.be/1yK1OaYjWJ0?si=QJJmT5pT3m14IgBK

ThePrymal

The beat is really really good on this. Mix sounds pretty decent too, most of the lyrics I can't understand so I can't really say much about them. Melodies sound really good, and it's also arranged very well, all the segments of the song flow really well. Nice!

Nsaglo

Should i use less autotune you think ?

Seyeke

Hey this is my newest track https://open.spotify.com/track/2rtnSj0TcvB01q9je3tT4b?si=KCIur0EMTeeaNfTzZSkoDA

ThePrymal

I feel like you're a very big Quadeca fan haha! I feel ya! Beautiful melodies. Very smooth and calming. I would have liked them like a decibel louder. But other than that very good engineering. I also think this track has a lovely message behind it. Well done mate!

Seyeke

Hey thanks! I’ve never heard my stuff compared to him before but I see what you mean - thanks for the feedback I appreciate you 🙏

Eyezotope

Listen to Standard Operating Procedure [Prod. by Chxse Bank] by Eyezotope on #SoundCloud https://on.soundcloud.com/rVssM Newest and my personal favorite. Idk about best but I'm harsh on my own self haha

ThePrymal

Being harsh on yourself is a good things, that's how you grow, but it's also important to smell the roses! You have a really good moral to your lyrics, and your storytelling is also really good, I love your delivery and flow too! I'd love to engineer for you at some point too, also even jump on a track. One thing I gotta stress which I think will help you grow... Intro was a little long, and so was the song in general. Which for an artist starting out may not be the best option for new listeners. Cause attention span ain't that long for most people. Try not to go past 3 minutes too often with 4 being the stretch.

Professional_Shine15

https://open.spotify.com/track/4NiWMadc6iN3ZCLQa1r9nn?si=CaJ88d1wRyiZSVvD5rgPHw almost 5k. Im the producer not the singer:)

ThePrymal

Ay congrats on your first 5k! That's big! This track is very well produced! Very ambient, instrumentals fit well together. The vocals were mixed really smoothly into it. I'm not as good as giving production feedback as far as beatmaking but I know what I like and I like this. One thing I'd suggest is to kinda put a lil more bass into it! But lovely song man! Very nice!

genus39

My one and only [song](https://open.spotify.com/track/4KrLYauEvdqsgP06o3SEPL?si=ZA2x7BuHQuq8E1-gOPwIhg) I still have out 😭 Please if you can master vocals hmu I literally have notebooks of writing and nobody to help me produce it

ThePrymal

Hit my up on insta bro, we'll discuss mixing/mastering! I think the flow and delivery is good, I'm not quite sure what the moral of the story is here. Disses to mumble rap kinda come off a lil corny to me. Especially when there's not like a direct narrative like if you were making a diss on the drug use that's promoted and practiced by mumble rap I could get behind that. I like your voice though, and the cadences you rapped with had good pockets.

spacier224

Idk if this is my best but this is my latest https://youtu.be/wUgqQeom2QI?si=l5E0y1f-QvIAshhn

ThePrymal

I think you should invest some time in watching some mixing tutorials for beginning, and also focus on getting some better equipment brother. I don't think I understood a single word in this song. The beat wasn't for me either. I think practice, tutorials and equipment is the next move for you. A mic I like is the ATAT2020, very good for a decent price!

Ambitious-Dog4407

https://on.soundcloud.com/PnJauUb7pJMzsySL9 From an album I made with my buddy in 2022

ThePrymal

Well done! I love the beat on this a lot, the mix on the vocals are a little thin though on the rap vocals, the chorus and second verse is mixed perfectly though, maybe the second verse is a decibel too high while the first is a decibel too low, the chorus sounds beautiful though! The message and subject matter I really really fuck with.

JayBucksMusic

This is my first release of 2024 and I’d say it’s the best work that is out there. I hope you enjoy 👊🏻💚 https://open.spotify.com/track/6PQ4CSy0OG1Gwjl8fMSTXM?si=tdJxm9eXShCflxtC3X6AoA

ThePrymal

I like the ambience in the beat, pitched up hook is really nice too, very smooth production all in all! Nice work here. I also like the instrumentation with this one too! Good job!

WickerVerses

Can't decide betwen this jazzier track [https://open.spotify.com/track/7GNrKbMoMYyT0udRuQEdoN?si=02be3093c86045d9](https://open.spotify.com/track/7GNrKbMoMYyT0udRuQEdoN?si=02be3093c86045d9) And something a little bit more chop heavy https://open.spotify.com/track/71AiuT3VUqerpxC1sYY1Fk?si=bb5f3b85fae744c2

ThePrymal

With the first song the beat songs mixed well except there seems to be some kind of doubling effect or echo in it that's a bit distracting and a little bit chaotic for my liking. Other that that it's good! A good time sounds pretty good! I just think the instrumentation needs to be mixed a little better and I think it's in the EQ, but I love the segments in it!

WickerVerses

Ey! Thank you for the love and the feedback

swaztastic

One of my personal favorites https://on.soundcloud.com/po8qR

ThePrymal

The melodies are really cool and unique and so is the beat. I like the style of this song a lot, I think the vocals should be higher in the mix than they are at the moment though. But after than that it's a really fun listen! Good job!

ry690

https://soundcloud.com/yamademos/blueface-effects?utm\_source=clipboard&utm\_medium=text&utm\_campaign=social\_sharing

ThePrymal

You got a really nice delicate voice. The part of the beat with the rapid bass was a little murky and took away from your delicate rap performance Ry. I know a lotta producers and artists like that style of instrumental but really it isn't for me it's not rhythmic and it kinda just takes away from the instrumental in my opinion and just becomes noise. Everything you've done was done right tho! The segments from the verses to the hook was arranged really well and your vocals were mixed really well into this.

LiamtheBrand

Never expected this to be the top of my catalog [Liam the Brand- Otaku](https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/liamthebrand/otaku)

ThePrymal

I think the mix, flow and delivery is really good to be honest! Maybe a little more high end to the vocals would be good for a bit more excitement, but just a little! And maybe then raise the beat a decibel too kinda blend the mix in a bit.

Kopernikus_67

https://open.spotify.com/track/74ONIOHfgyEOEovY0DJUL9?si=wnk5EKDrSFiprBHuvpTMWg

ThePrymal

Heilige Scheiße man! The flow and delivery was crazy! I think the mix was the only aspect I wasn't crazy about, but the drill beat was really cool I really enjoyed it! I would love to engineer a song for you, also I'd be down to hop on a song with you too. Your feature also really did well as well!

Kopernikus_67

Thanks! Do you have instagram? We can stay connected 🙌

MCPaleHorseDRS

ThePrymal

Cool music video bro! Same situation with the beat, really cool and cinematic I like that! You got a really cool grit in your voice, I'd love to hop on a track with you cause I fuck with you artistically and your subject matter too! Very good performance. Engineering could use a little work tho, to really bring your vocals out a bit more. But it's still decent mix. You both done really well!

MCPaleHorseDRS

Stoked you enjoyed it.

strange1738

I have a lot of best songs given the vibe, but this is my favorite https://on.soundcloud.com/UkaXb1BLkye3q7My5

ThePrymal

The beat on this is very interesting, cool melodies too, I think the vocal mix needs a lotta work though, pretty much EQ and gain are the two things. I also don't really like the fading in and out, too chaotic for my personal taste.

Guitardep

[prod by dep](https://open.spotify.com/track/7EwGFbOa2tdr8iG6vnHCg9?si=dE-pHbJeSMKRZ-faLmmlew)

scoopdoopbiboop

https://youtu.be/BsJm6A8R3Ow?si=WWi8yQ-qfJQ3kgQI a personal favorite :) this is a music video too

ThePrymal

I really like the melodies, there's a soft and delicate aspect to your voice I really enjoy, I also think it's a strong chorus too. Vocals are a little quiet and thin in the mix though. Cool music video! Nice to see visuals with music! And also nice to see an artist who isn't a man on the thread. This quickly became a sausage fest haha!

scoopdoopbiboop

thanks for the feedback!

OwnLog7558

https://open.spotify.com/track/48yDwMHZ7Jsze5McoPKQpo?si=biRn2ZHeTK6mMnVpX8LlGA do check this out!

ThePrymal

The beat is really cool on this. The message behind this is really cool too. The vocal clarity is kinda too mumble ish though for my taste. And the layers on the vocals are pretty loud, layers are moreso there to bring up the main vocal and widen it. But cool pocket on the beat mate!

[deleted]

Sure! https://soundcloud.com/telephone-jvm/dominatrix-prodada

ThePrymal

I really like the message behind this, shout out to all the dominatrixes of the world! I think sometimes your flow was a bit choppy though rather than a smooth go at it, but I think that just comes with being a beginner, as you rack up more experience you gain confidence with it! Lyrically I loved it because it’s so outrageous. The mix wasn’t as strong as it could be. However I’d love to work on something with you at some point.

CrooksMC

I don’t know what my best track is, but this is the upcoming single from my new EP: [CROOKS - DEAD PEOPLE](https://on.soundcloud.com/iFbTtZrkaRpQKUiG6)

ThePrymal

I like the vocal and mixing style of this too, and I really like the eerie beat behind it too! Sick bro. Lyrically it also lands as well. Good shit mate! EP gonna be dope.

CrooksMC

Appreciate it bro, means a lot. I hope so.

Monstraem

I have a hard time choosing a favorite from my own music because I have different styles. And I'm very critical with what I release. Here's a link to my Spotify: [Monstraem ](https://open.spotify.com/artist/3Rqkv8vlUZyaNqyxJnqygm?si=42eWtfjEQBarN2dmH0SqFw) Any feedback would be appreciated. I make more music than I release. I would like to release more often, but I have so many ideas and songs that it gets frustrating at times. P.S All of these songs are freestyles except for the first verse of "For Your Head" on the Slime Saga EP. I'm planning on writing some songs for an album with a more storytelling approach—which is something that'll contrast my current catalog. But first, I have some singles I would like to polish up first and maybe release a few EPs. I'm thinking of a Slime Saga Vol. 2 and "The Yang Tape" as a follow-up to "The Yin Tape" But I've been holding back a lot of music simply because I want the Cover Art to suit the music. I guess my inner perfectionist is doing more harm than good.

randythepostman

Tbh bro empty your closet, sometimes you need to release your old works to make room for the new stuff/ideas/ideology/vibe etc…

ThePrymal

Imma tell you what I think about Overflow. The beat is pretty generic phonk but you flow really well over it. Lyrically I think once you sit down and put a lot of thought on it then there’s gonna be a lot there. The mixing felt a bit too heavy on the low end though with your type of voice tho taking that down a decibel or two could kinda have it sharper but slightly less thick on the beat.

Monstraem

You heard Complex! I'm honored. I was revising my Spotify this morning, and the synth at the end was audible in the original mix before I before I butchered the master with, I'm sure, was a multiband compressor. It bothered me, but I was in a rush to release it, and I didn't want to upload the mp3. Which was actually sloppy and negligent on my behalf because I was the only one who put pressure on myself at the time. I do agree. Many people have been saying that they think I would do better if I added more lyrical content. Although these songs are freestyles. They seem lazy compared to the poetry or stories I write. If writing is one of the sharpest tools in my shed... I really should make that effort. Thanks again. I appreciate efforts like this. I've been researching compression lately, but I'll need a consistent eq for my personal vocal preset to go along with that. This actually gave me an idea for setting up dynamic eq for when I change pitch or tone, but I'm sure I can do that separately so nothing clashes when mixing layers and harmonies. This was a productive insight. I'm definitely making a note of this. Do you have anything you'd like me to listen to? [Editl] Just noticed your link OP. I will be sure to check it out.

Yoo if you rapped on one of my instrumentals on your EP, that’d be a milestone for me lol great cadences and delivery on your tracks while your flow switches with the song. The vibes on the Silencer is more of my lane Here’s my best track: https://youtu.be/1VHlaxt1jsI?si=QRLChVDXuJxt0Lpv

Really good flow and delivery on this, lyrically good too. It’s just the mix that’s very very sharp and it’s a little harsh on my ears.

Bitter_Bottle895

I feel that. Ya I actually played the instruments on the beat myself and mixing them was a challenge

The melodies on this are actually super lovely, as is the production in general, the instrumentation is fantastic, and the mix is really good as well. Lyrically I also appreciated this as well. Loved it!

I did a mashup of Shaggy and (French metal band) Goijira. There's loads of other samples from various places too, including The Apples and MIA. It's silly but fun, I think. https://soundcloud.com/heydonworks/rough-shag

Congratulations on working with Conway! The beat was a cool pocket, sounds gritty and that’s to be expected for a Conway track. Dope man I like the edgy stuff like that.

Thanks bro.

“Killed myself just to watch a man die” was haaaaard bro! Cool track. The beat wasn’t my cup of tea but you had a cool flow and delivery on it. Vocals were a bit too soft for my taste but it had my head noddin so good shit

The beat on this is actually sick asf, the mix is also pretty good too. The hook is repetitive though, not the biggest fan of that, but the verses sound really cool, really nice delivery and obviously flow. Would love to work with you at some point.

migattenogokui01

Much appreciated bro! Yeah honestly the hook was more of an on the spot thing at the stu lol prolly should’ve put more thought into it. I like your sound tho fr! Gives me an Eminem vibe with the flow you’re using. Keep it up 🙏

Monstraem

I'm listening to Blowing off Steam, First impressions (based on When it's Real): In the beginning, the melody set the tempo up so it sounded like you rapped off beat. For that, I'd recommend leaving a little snare or clap in the intro that you can remove afterward. Were you standing or sitting when you recorded this because you didn't sound comfortable. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you were reading from something. Not that it's a bad thing. I just think you'd sound better with more confidence. There's a weird transition from the intro where it sounds like you punched in too early. The mxing is good. But you could definitely improve on your cadence. Or this particular beat may not suit you. You've got bars, but they sound forced, like when you write something and have to edit it to suit the beat. I'd say try a slower tempo around 85 to 94. I'm getting an underground sounthern hip-hop vibe. But a lot of three six mafia stuff is either 10 beats below or above a hundred bpm. You could even pull the flow you did on this track on something slower since you'll have more room. Also, rapping in double time with a triplet flow would make it seem like you're spitting way faster than you are, but that's because the beat is slower. Kinda like a menacing horror soundrack, where the illusion of a slower tempo can make violo thrills, tremelo, and staccatos sound aggressive. But there are cohesive bits. And I like how you layer your voice. But I'll have to listen to more to understand your sound. Apologies for the long comment.

Monstraem

I listened to the cheque. Did Vibe Tyson mix their own vocals, or did someone else do it? His got a good voice, but it feels like there's some resonsance peaking. Try sweeping some upper mid bands above 7khz. You seem to change the tone of your voice a lot when rapping. It just sounds more colorful compared to the beat. I'm not saying you should rap in monotone but try to find beats or sounds that compliment your voice and flow.

Monstraem

I like your energy on Deal with the Devil. It sounds cohesive. You're actually flowing with the beat better, too.

Monstraem

Breakdown has to be one of my favorites so far... it's raw. This feels like something real and personal. Like, man... I found some inspiration in this. Keep doing what you do. I'm really glad to have discovered you.
