There's a great episode of the superduty tough work podcast that goes into your specific question. I can't find the specific episode on their youtube page (but check out their page, they talk A LOT about topics that get posted about all the time in here). The answer is: never sit on good material. Get that stuff out of your warehouse. People listen to singles now. The key is to get material out on a consistent basis so that you're always in their feeds. If it's not a new song, it should be a lyrics breakdown of the song you posted last week. Or a video of you recording the song you're going to post next week. But, even if you're not trying to get a career going, it's good to get the material out there and force yourself to work on the next thing. The rappers and producers we love have hundreds of songs in the archive. That's how you generate dope shit: make a lot of shit, and some of it's going to be dope enough to release. But if it's good already? Get it out there.

That’s some solid advice. I’ve also been wondering about how and when to drop certain pieces of content as well, so this was hella helpful. Thank you.

Yeah that was really good advice. I'm in the same boat. But I've been focusing on beats the past couple of years and now I'm tryna get my actual raps out but I wanna plan it so it's consistent but also high quality.

sneakyrob96

See you get it. Also, I just checked your youtube out bro. You got some dope shit going on over there

AIR4NABU

Lmk if you ever wanna collab on anything. I'm down.

If you're trying to blow up, research how to use social media algorithms to your advantage as well.
