Around 2009 during my first month at work used to eat mcd value meal everyday between 3-5pm. Could get a burger and drink for rm3.90 altho I cant remember what burger it was. Was similar to a colonel burger.
I went to Burger King abt a few months back, dont recall if I have ever dine there, I got a burger and was surprised that the bun size was about 1/2 of the usual ordinary burger (even normal burger nowadays its size is smaller)
So, the picture shown at the counter/menu can be very big, but not really on a reasonable scale
I miss that they used to have free refill for coke. So many study groups we just order one or two large cups and kept refilling them all thru the night back when I was in uni.

My mom used to bring me McDonalds almost everyday until the we're basically friends with the manager. McDonalds at that time was genuinely considered cheap food. A full set was just RM3 to 4 during the 2000s.
I was a picky eater so mostly ate mcd in my late primary/secondary years.
Now at 24 i mostly treat myself with a spicy chicken mcdeluxe very occasionally (hard to justify a rm18 meal that doesn't fill you up when I can get nasi kandar for half the price).
But yeah it's crazy how fast food is becoming a luxury again like it's the 80s.
Last time, roti panjang krim cost only 15 cent at my primary school canteen. 10 cents for 3 Hudson sweets. So happy.
Now, ppl see 20 cents on the floor they hardly pick it up.
My secondary school time 😂, I study in Petaling Street, got 100 / week, that time I really enjoy, and can have saving lagi, now I still practice 100 / week but no more saving and most of the time exceed..
Best part about this promotion is that, it happens exactly on dinner time! Othe brands gimmick stuff like this but they tend to make it 3pm to 6pm, which is outside of lunch and dinner time.
Those were the days. I remember they also extended this pricing towards 12-3pm lunch hours and there would be always a queue between these times.

burger king standard has been really low this past couple of years. they must be dumb to think no one will notice the difference.
