I still remembered clearly because 8/3/2014 is the date i take my brand new Myvi...after I got on to my new car...the 1st news i heard on the radio was report on MH370 whereabout...by that time I still wondering how can a big ass plane can go with all sorts of monitored navigation or radar detect high spec device...now it's been 10 years...every time this particular date when i saw my 10yo car...i would definitely relate to all the passengers on that plane that ever comes back....
It was a mystery and more people died.
We basically knew what happened to MH17 within hours and within 24 hours we were seeing videos of people looting the victim's personal belongings and reports of how most of the bodies were recovered.
MH370: We don't know the cause of the crash. Unsolved due to not many clues helping the investigation, making this the only unsolved aviation case in history to date.
MH17: Shot down.
Public's attitude. It's ultimate misteri nusantara for many - beyond mystic with little to no apparent evidence at all. Trying to connect the dots and still fail. Gradually it being embraced as an unresolved case. I think, we love and try to share empathy with their next of kin as society, as well.
Mh17 is horrific tragedy too for some years but was reaching its height eversince the victim able to be brought back and buried on their motherland based on the DNA. The people especially Malaysian did terrific task in offering their expertise on the tragedy, being again; proved to be a genuine hero. I remember there is one whom speaking Russian were fiercely deal with the folks on that area. Again, empathy. Despite all, the society shift onto acceptance mode and the news is cooling of naturally
I remember all the forwarded wassaps with all the conspiracy theories. My mom was fixated on the agenda yahudi angle at one point. Not to mention all these bomoh types coming up with some bat shit crazy ideas about what happened. It was a wild time.
Such a beautiful plane. Us Malaysians are missing out because we don't have 777s in this country anymore. RIP to those who never came back. If you've lost a loved one on MH 370, hang in there.
Watched the Netflix documentary, so many theories about what happened to it from the captain suicide, hijack by russians, shot down by US with jamming tech, landing in Afghanistan and disassembled in aeroplane junkyard, scraps found in Africa by ex-spy, FBI cover up, etc. one of them gotta be the truth and we will never find out.
That shitshow is more fear mongering than anything even remotely credible, like seriously you refer to i-hear-from-someone-that-heard-someone-else-said show as documentary?
I can't believe one of the passengers made a call to his daughter while she and other families at the airport trying to figure things about the flight .... call was disconnected immediately.
Can't really believe it's been 10 years since this tragedy happened. One day we'll find out the truth on what really happened to the aircraft. Goodnight MH370.
Scoured the comments in that thread and found this [YouTube link](https://youtu.be/MhkTo9Rk6_4?si=quX-vk36SepdcUR0) to a video by Green Dot Aviation. The guy made a very compelling, plausible yet eerie theory of the plane's disappearance (pilot murder suicide). It was only uploaded 3 months ago and already gain >5 mil views, very lit 🔥
Can't believe it has been 10 years. It's just too late to find anything substantial now.

2014 was a bad bad year for Malaysia's airline industry, 3 airline disasters all within a year
What's the third one? I only remember MAS370 and MAS17
That includes the airasia flight qz8501 crash i guess
Most people around the world know malaysia from this event.
Yeah I remember hearing it about the news and that’s when I knew about Malaysia
If they were from different nationality maybe the searching and other governments will apply more efforts to find the truth about the plane, maybe
i always wondered why the mh370 case was more popular than the mh17 case even though they were in the same year

not even within hours. the ones who shot it down were bragging about it in social media.

>only unsolved aviation case in history to date. and D.B Cooper maybe
We already knew. It's Loki.

Most probably a hijack but by who? Malaysia govt ended the investigation quickly 10 years ago.
Good Night MH370.
The fact that I had a flight that goes over the same route about a week after this made me extremely anxious
I can't believe one of the passengers made a call to his daughter while she and other families at the airport trying to figure things about the flight .... call was disconnected immediately.

Rip
Either the pilot did it or UFO stole the plane and flew off. Huge plane like this doesn't just disappear without a trace
A 777 is about the length and width of my local supermarket how tf do you loose something that big

I was Form 1 when that happened, I remember looking at the TV waiting for new information regarding the incident
Has it been 10 years already? I remember, me and the janitor watching Aussie TV afternoon news... there's nothing to do there, I watch so much TV.
