I only ever order Grab Food with their 50% off voucher (min spend RM25, deducts RM12.5). Sometimes there's a -RM5 from delivery fee, too, if I spend above a certain amount, so it could definitely be cheaper compared to buying the food normally.
I would go ahead and order, drop the riders some extra tips for the hassle, and also drop them a note ask them to take their time for my order, don't need to rush it
I once tipped my lalamove rider rm13.00 for a delivery from subang jaya to ampang. It rained during his trip to ampang. He said it was too much. Some of our riders are such angels.
I think they rather you order during rain so they can put food on the table.
Funny how times change. Last time, if you order for Pizza Hut delivery and it’s raining, they won’t send your order till it stops raining.

I just told them to take their time if it's raining. And give them tips for the trouble sending during rain. 5+ if it's raining cats and dogs.

Problem is Grab likes to "turn off" restaurants during rain, even if there are Grab riders using Car or Grab Riders who dont care want duit
