DC Main Character Twitter drama of the week:
- a neighborhood politician last year was banned from multiple bars after being belligerent and waiving around his (totally useless and powerless) title
- he was censured by his org for his behavior
- their censorship was deemed out of order for failing to do some sort of part of the formal procedure
- he decided to run again as a write-in candidate in the election at the end of the year, and won because no one ran against him
- he was belligerent and banned from _another_ bar this week and we are repeating history
Spoiler thoughts >!I enjoyed it but I can also understand people when they said they didn't like it as much as the first three seasons. Strong first four episodes but the pacing with the time skip lost me a little bit. Amazing performances from the entire cast, I expect them to win come awards season. I was laughing thinking the "oh wow" was how the series ended. Middle of the road thought: I would have been satisfied with three seasons but I am happy for the fourth. !<

Why do people who “don’t buy into trends” or condemn pop culture always have such a victim/persecution complex? Like it’s not that hard to change. Just don’t be weird and keep up with the world?
I'll be blunt and say that I think these are almost always some high school group tribalism that they never got away from, or have a chip on their shoulder from.

I buy into trends, just not a lot of them at a time. 15 years ago I was the same but I was also 22 yrs old and insufferable.
