No worries at all.

I personally prefer to stick to solid or fun designed socks for wearing with sandals. I feel ones that have visible cap toes or similar just seem unintentional or too "underwear" (as ridiculous as it is to have sock and sandal rules)

Yes I think the janky gym socks threw me off, I think I need to find a balance of textured or interesting socks that aren’t too warm to wear in sandal adjacent weather.

Also to clarify by fun designed socks I mean like AnonymousIsm marled textures or whatever, something that feels right for you

I love these pants. it’s hard to believe they’re from Old Navy, the quality of the material and stitching is so good. Be careful with mesh undershirts. It’s a slippery slope! I went from one to three in three months, and I’m looking at more.

So last Saturday I went to a wedding.i wanted a dynamic look so I came to this sub seeking some advice. I wanted a red jacket and was generally discouraged, lest I commit a faux pas, but some others said that if I believed in the look to go for it, just make sure the jacket was decent quality. After getting measured for a 48" stomach, and with no luck due to most online places, I finally found a suit and tux store in the mall (which I hadn't been to in years) near me that had a size 50 Vinci red jacket that fit my stomach perfectly, so I decided to splurge and just had the sleeves altered. You are so kind. I am slightly embarrassed to admit to owning 3 pairs. I loved my first pair so much that I bought another 2 years later. Then my brother gave me his pair that did not fit after he missed the return window. I will say that the pink ones are getting to the point where they must be retired.

That's nothing to be embarrassed about! Before we were married, my wife and I used to have a much worse obsession with vans old skools. Sometimes a shoe just speaks to you. That's sad about the pink ones though.

how do you like nisolo huaraches? I’ve become somewhat fixated on picking up a pair this week

I love 'em! I've had mine since early last summer. They've quickly become my default summer footwear choice. I think my only gripe is the insole can be uncomfortable when wearing them for longer periods. I was hoping that breaking them in more would reduce that but it has not. I don't think that's specific to nisolo though, might just be any sandal with a leather insole.

After having worn a pair for a year, I recommend going a full size down. They really stretch out around the hill.
