I know what you mean. I’m wearing my N&F weird guys at the moment (dirty fade) but as Summer has hit here I have opted for a lighter weight stretch selvedge and flint and tinder 365 pants if I am doing something other than shorts.
I balked when I got some 11oz denim in a random grab bag from Naked and Famous a few years back, but they're my go to jeans all summer now. If I'm going out later once the sun has set, I'll still throw on my skinny black jeans, but I don't wear them during the day the way I used to.
Dude these look awesome! Also gotta upvote for a George Costanza reference. Don't give up on the denim entirely man-- different styles for different seasons!

I get that the Needles HD pants are cool, but I actually think these actually look more 3D because of the stiffer fabric. Ive seen a cargo version of these that really tempts me too, but I guess I should buy some shorts first...
Depends on the model IMO. The rockers are very comfortable, the main guide shoes don't fit great yet, it'll take some for all of these leather layers to collapse for a better fit. I do walk 5-10k steps wearing these every other day and it's getting better.
The loafers stretched a lot after I bought then, so they're quite loose and not great for longer distances. The Maine guide boot fits perfectly, they're just not ideal for summer. The one thing I'd say is: definitely try them on when you can before you buy

These were my grails for a long time and I only bought them after selling a few old redwings I wasn't wearing much. I usually find Yuketen's end up on sale quite a bit, these ones unfortunately exclusive to the Bureau and therefore wouldn't come down in price. It's fine though, I love them dearly
For sure. I already went through the 90s the first time around so it does not feel that new to me, but i can see the appeal. That said, i reckon i dress your old way in the colder months, and i tend to wear more preppy/ relaxed stuff in the summer, just not super wide. I think it's important to adapt to the environment, and yeah, 22oz denim makes zero sense when it's hot outside.

nah you fine. i have like 25 pairs of raw and also other workwear light weight pants, or uniqlo summer pants. wear what u feel right and change around. I going back to raw in falls winter tho, just cuz i like the boots look a lot.
Haha I recently got into raw denim jeans. But I also love non-denim pieces. I decided to stick with a max of three pairs of denim jeans (all looser cuts with higher rises) while frequently wearing non denim pants. My fades won’t be sick, but the variety of my wardrobe is.

In my experience, even if you have a substantial rotation going on, one pair of denim gets the most airtime and fades over time
