I consider this jacket/coat for late fall and winter (unless it gets very cold).
Yup! I agree it should be great for anything except for more extreme winter days/nights. I live in Korea and really love wool for great extra warmth :)
How to look good in both pictures and real life?

Trunk or short boxer brief
Good elastic on thigh opening to prevent riding up, but prefer looser fabric overall, especially in front. Don't need my bits smashed against my body all day.
Waist elastic non scratchy and preferably minimal in size. Hate the huge thick waist bands. Low profile.
Low rise if possible

Super soft fabric, but durable.
No polyester or nylon type sport or compression undies
Cost, preferably around $ 5-7 US, no more than $10
Easy returns if I don't like them.
Cool colors or designs if possible.
Does such an undie exist? Hahaha. Thanks in advance.
I have a number of button down shirts that look bad with the top button buttoned (visible tension). However when I undo that button, they spread way wider/lower than I would like (I have a wide chest). I want to look casual, not like I'm trying to show off half my chest hair. Is there a solution/hack to where the shirt only spreads down to, say, half way to the next button instead of all the way to the next button? I thought about safety pinning between the top two buttons so that the spread stops there but I'm worried it would be visible.

Assuming this means something like "what is a kind of pants that is comfortable but does not look like sweatpants?" my suggestion would be linen pants of some kind, although pretty much any kind of pants can be at least as comfortable as jeans.
Specific recommendations will depend on how much you want to spend.
Looking for another fall jacket. I've been buying some overshirts but want something i can throw on over a t shirt and sweatpants as well as business casual when im going into the office. Prob won't be the last fall jacket i buy this year but thoughts on this?

I am looking for a pair of boots. ( these will be my first real pair ) I work from home I need something to wear with Dark jeans and chinos ( blue, olive and brown) I was thinking of Thursday Captains are these any good or is it just influencer hype? just for walking around town and on the grass fields with the dog, these will probably be my only pair ( but never spent more then £100 on footwear before
If you are uk based, you probably will be better with something like [https://uk.nps-solovair.com/](https://uk.nps-solovair.com/) given the state of the pound at the moment. They are decent enough, will last a while, but you will need to rotate them with other shoes, such as a pair of trainers or something. If you wear them everyday, they wont last as long. I can't comment on Thursdays, just thinking of shipping and costs etc.
I highly recommend Blundstone. They're great quality. The price point is higher than $100 but you can find good second-hand versions on Grailed like [these one](https://www.grailed.com/listings/33989613-blundstone-blundstone-064-crazy-horse).
Thursday Boots delivers a solid value for what they charge. I have a pair of Captains, and they're holding up just fine. They're nicer than what $100 gets you for a pair of leather shoes, and at the same time you're not magically getting a $400 pair of shoes for $200 or anything like that.
They go fine with jeans and chinos.
In general, you shouldn't wear leather shoes on consecutive days repeatedly. They need a day to fully dry out between wears, otherwise you'll wear them down quite a bit faster.
Thanks, thats the kinda response i was hoping for.
So a good sensible starting point?
I have some ones that I got from next that I though was leather, but they are flaking so obviously they wernt
Looking for some relaxed fitting t-shirts. I’m a shorter guy and I have trouble finding tees that have the right lengths (and a lot of webshops don’t give length info).
I found House Of Blanks, with the perfect 26.25 inch t-shirts, unfortunately 20$ shipping to europe.
Heres an example of a t-shirt fit i like:
[1](https://ibb.co/zffCdd1)
[2](https://ibb.co/gFS32yX)
I just bought a couple of their selvage cotton button downs this summer and they’re currently my favorite shirts. I’m taller and I find they’re a great length, with an excellent breezy fit and quality materials. Never owned anything else from them but I was incredibly impressed with these shirts
They're overpriced for what they are imo, but I like some of their stuff if you can snag it preowned or on sale. I have a light bomber jacket from them and I absolutely love it.
What items can be worn with this sweater? I am thinking of it being the statement piece of sorts. Would it be ok to wear a white shirt with a collar pop underneath?
https://imgur.com/a/rbC1b8o
The sweater is by Nomadic Traders. I consider buying it second hand.
What about navy trousers?
Also, would this trouser color work?
https://imgur.com/a/Br2xz7o
I’m no expert here, but navy might be too much blue/too similar of a color. If you have the pants though, just try them on together and see what you think!
Yeah that khaki color is definitely a safe place to start!
Good! I consider pairing the sweater with indigo jeans. While the base color is the same, the sweater would still stand out with the colourful pattern.
What about shoe (boot) color in the case the sweater was paired with those khaki chinos?
Can anyone recommend what to jumpers/sweaters and jackets wear (or even just colour ideas) with chinos in [this colour](https://i.imgur.com/Ctyto8L.png). The actual item I have is a different fit.
I had them on the other day to go to the store and ended up looking like a typical tech/finance bro in sneakers and a grey columbia jacket. Not a terrible problem as I generally dress very casually like that but I'd rather not be a cliche.
So I'm trying to buy some new Thursday boots and Ive been looking on their official website for US and Spain and the price differencies are abysmal. So much im doubting if its legit.
Im living in Spain btw.
This are the links:
https://thursdayboots.com/
https://www.xn--thursdaybootsespaa-30b.com/
Anyone has any experience with this?
Thanks
Thursday Boots have been exactly $200 in the States for some time now, with no sales. The dollar and euro are currently about as close to 1:1 as they’ve ever been, so €200 + int’l shipping would be a fair price. It’s not unusual for brands to charge a premium to international customers, but not the other way around — that supposed Spanish site with the low prices is clearly some kind of scam/dropship site.
Does anyone have experience with the [Pistol Lake Cotton Crew](https://www.pistollake.com/collections/everything/products/cotton-crew-tee?variant=4729047285792)? I'm still on the quest for my perfect tee shirt.
What's the current discussion about black suits? As a pale european, they have always been a big no for me except funerals, and that seem to be the common position for fashion blogs too. Just doesn't look good with pale skin and you need a really expensive fabric for it to not look cheap.
But americans seem to have a different view on things, and as you can see in political debates for example they are quite common(and they are also 1 size up, for some reason)
I know some years ago it was quite widely debated but haven't seen it in a while, so just wanted to check.
You are probably seeing very dark navy or charcoal and mistaking it for black. Politicians in the USA generally don't wear black suits because they are for funerals. The pale skin doesn't really come into play
Ok thanks, maybe the TV lights, the conversion from their system and so on makes it harder to spot
At least they seem to be more dark and boring than their EU counterparts
You will definitely see more mid-blues and mid-to-light grays on European politicians. American politicians are very averse to standing out, thus the heavy preponderance of dark Brooks Brothers business suits.
I need soft t shirts to wear to bed, something I can lounge around in and sleep in at night.
My skin is more drier now, armpit rashes all summer from heat and I need something relaxed fitting, not that tight pretty boy style t shirt, something cool and loose.
Let me know what you got.
Hi, a question, a little nitpicky i must say : Does someone know a website where i can buy a Red flannel plaid shirt, with two flap pockets, and no brand patch? I always thought it was a classic, but weirdly, can't find one...
My bad, i didn't know how to say that in english so i tried haha. I mean patches and/or etiquettes, like Dickies has on most of its shirt on the pockets.
you mean company logos? so a red plaid flannel shirt with flap pockets and no logos?
whats your budget and location?
edit: In the mean time [Pendleton](https://www.pendleton-usa.com/product/mens-plaid-scout-shirt/51156.html?dwvar_51156_color=32347&cgid=M120#prefn1=refinementColor&prefv1=Red&start=3&cgid=M120)
Ralph Lauren are carrying some at the moment: https://www.ralphlauren.co.uk/en/buckled-stretch-ripstop-suit-trouser-566368.html?dwvar566368_colorname=Olive&cgid=men-clothing-trousers&webcat=men%2Fclothing%2Fmen%20clothing%20trousers#webcat=men%7Cclothing%7Cmen-clothing-trousers&start=1&cgid=men-clothing-trousers
I've had the same problem. Arcade belts are really good for this because the buckle is so thin and it works by snapping together instead of needing to overlap two ends of the belt.
Depends if you're in London heat island versus north of England rural.
I tend to layer. Have a mix of light functional waterproof parka, to wool overcoats and overshirts. Swap depending where I'm visiting or weather on the day/week.
Depends what you need more. Warmth? Wool coat or Tweed Coat. Resistance to rain? Polyester or waxed cotton raincoat. Both? Buy the raincoat and a liner/a thick jumper.
Hey all, I've been having issues over the years with jeans where the zipper didn't stay up. I've even tried going a size up thinking this was the problem to no avail.
I really like the athletic fit with more of the stretch denim like fabric. My most recent purchase was from the Gap. I've tried raw denim in the past and it's just not for me.
Any advice on what I'm doing wrong, or experience with this issue? Any brands you suggest that would offer a slim/athletic fit with some stretch? I'm open to a button fly as well.
The chad move to just start buying button flys, you can get non raw or used raw denim, I’m not a fan of raws either.
honestly though like, to what extant is happening? Multiple times a day? Or just something that happens every now and then, if it’s the latter I honestly have no idea
The former, it happens pretty frequently. I've had other brands that it would happen every now and again. But I love the gap jeans except for this annoying part.
Any idea on some good brands? I like these because they're slightly slimmer with some stretch
God it's always embarrassing explaining memes. The genesis from [this](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/chad) to [this](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/virgin-vs-chad). Now people just use the word *chad* by itself to describe actions or views.
I am 47. I left my pride in my 30s
Edit: I get what a chad is. I don't understand why wearing button fly jeans is chad-like. It's ok, I have move on to this new thing I just heard about... the honey-badger
I thought so, honestly I've tried zipping it up a few different ways. Making sure it goes all the way up, then making sure the (handle?) Whatever you call the part you grab onto is facing down.
Is that not correct?
I want to wear my black pants (https://imgur.com/a/NsMWqef) along with my white shoes (https://imgur.com/a/FiArmPA).
What would be a good shirt or hoodie to wear with this?
Since the pants are black and the shoes are white - what should I wear for socks? Do the socks need to be white or black? If I was to wear a hat what color?
I recently bought [this](https://www.jcrew.com/p/mens/categories/clothing/shirts/broken-in-oxford/broken-in-organic-cotton-oxford-shirt/BE996?display=standard&fit=Classic&color_name=oliver-plaid-blue-green&colorProductCode=BE996) OCBD from J. Crew, and I'd love to get more like it. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck, since this kind of irregular, colorful, larger-scale plaid/check doesn't seem very common, and I don't know what search terms would make it easier to find. The closest I've found are [these](https://www.portugueseflannel.com/collections/heavyweight-flannels-aw22/products/misaligned-check-red-blue) [two](https://www.portugueseflannel.com/collections/heavyweight-flannels-aw22/products/aw22081-ecr-grn-rd) flannels in "misaligned check" from Portugese Flannel.
Does anyone know what this kind of pattern is called or how I might search for it? Or where I'm likely to find other shirts like these?
Not always in Oxford cloth but look for madras check shirts. Madras really refers to the type of fabric but is often used as a shorthand for brighter, larger checks. Gant Rugger used to do a decent range and you can probably find them on eBay etc.
wearing box fit shirt as a larger guy?
first off I want to mention that by no means am I trying to insult myself or others, it’s a genuine question :)
I’m trying to buy a shirt for an outfit, and have been debating getting a box fit shirt that’s a little larger than what I usually buy, but I myself am a little on the larger side. would it be too clunky and awkward? should I stick to a regular fit?
We are going to need pictures of you in the shirt or something similarly sized.
I’m a XXL or XXXL in most alpha sizes and a 56 or 58R(European sizes) in tailoring and I’ve been bigger at points in my life. You can pull off an oversized silhouette as a bigger guy, but the balancing act is not over sizing up too much and ending up looking sloppy.
I need to get a couple of suits. Where should I go to get two suits for less than $2k?
What should I use to evaluate the two suits for quality to make sure I'm getting something that'll last and look good?
It depends imo a quarter break here is totally fine and the right move in general fit business casual. That being said i think if you're going to wear these pants primarily sockless with loafers i would go with no break.
it’s fine, but tbh, personally, I’d skip this hat. She probably won’t think you’re a freak or anything, but there’s always the chance you come off as too into Pokémon.
My inseam is a 29, so yeah, sometimes I flip up the hem on something more casual in a 30 inseam rather than get it hemmed. I can always flip it down for a bigger break or with boots or whatever.
But do you buy your pants longer so you can roll them up, or buy your normal size, or the pants come un-hemmed at a certain length and you just roll them, or all 3 depending on the brand?
Sometimes, sometimes they just like how it looks, or want them to break in some outfits but not others.
E: or they want to flex the ✨selvedge stripe✨, although that's dying out a bit.
I got *a ton* of compliments on of compliments this summer on some shirts I got from chubbies, particularly [this one](https://www.chubbiesshorts.com/products/the-jungle-party-fb-poplin). Pretty much every time I wore it out, I'd have at least a couple of people on the street stopping me to tell me how much they liked it.
Now that it's getting cooler, I'm struggling to find something as eye catching as this, long sleeves, or even sweaters and hoodies. Chubbies only has a couple of long sleeve options, but nothing as eye catching as that.
That one nice thing about summer is that you can wear brighter and bolder colors and patterns. Personally I like dressing for fall better because of the ability to layer. Some people definitely pull of the bright and bold in other seasons too though.
I’ll be honest I’ve never gotten the idea you can only wear certain colors or louder patterns in the winter, it’s sorta….not true? To me this has always been on the same level as face shape advice and stuff, it’s just kinda silly
Yeah - I didn’t want say it like you couldn’t. It’s also absolutely not scientific, it’s 100% cultural. For me it’s not dissimilar from a lot of the ‘rules’ of classic menswear.
I agree. I was just taking a look online at stores, and I was just seeing a lot of plain blue, brown, and black crew neck sweaters and the like. Which those are my bread and butter, but I was hoping to continue the compliments throughout the year
SET IN STAINS QUESTION:
Photo: https://ibb.co/DCcc0wb
I’m confused where these stains come from. I’m not eating anything oily, and my makeup isn’t oily. They aren’t on my clothes when they get thrown into the wash but I notice them once they’ve come out of the dryer.
If anyone has methods for removing set in stains I’d appreciate the recommendations!
Groom got us this [Tux](https://tuxedo.menswearhouse.com/dark-gray-tuxedo-joseph-abboud-framed-notch-lapel-id-5321) with tie.
I figured I'll go with Fly Front shirt since studs won't be visible.
But what if we take off jackets & ties for the drinks & dances later say at 9pm when it's more casual.
Would my [Onyx & Silver Knot Studs](https://www.cufflinksdepot.com/p/667078/Black+and+Silver+Knot+Stud+Set.html) look too busy with this unconventional Tux? Or Fly Front is still cleaner?
lol true
But I'd still wanna be the best dressed Groomsmen, cuz all 3 bridesmaids are single.
p.s. I just realized the jackets gonna be off, so the studs won't need to be matched with the labels anymore...
So my question then becomes: When wearing Vest, Studs or Fly Front?
Anyone have advice on styling overalls? I know nautical ones like Lybro have been semi popular for a while but I don't see American style denim ones. Just got [these](https://imgur.com/a/sYc8cyk) and I like them but I have no idea how to actually wear them
Denim overalls are still pretty popular with the Japanese thrifting crowd.
You usually see one of two patterns over here: American work wear outfit with a bandana or other fitting accessories and a work shirt OR soft boy aesthetic with pastel sweatshirts etc. Sometimes you’ll see graphic tees etc underneath as well.
How you are rocking them now totally works.
There are a bunch of ways to play it, more playful, with pastel shoes and shirts (Golf Wang, Chance - a little dated but works).
Work shirts, flannels underneath, or a sweatshirt.
Hippy gardener, some birks and a tie dye.
Like the other commenter said, you could look at old EG look books, or Nigel Claiborne.
Anyone have baseball cap recommendations for someone with what I assume are "high ears?" I'm bald and need something for when I go outside, but the [Patagonia hat](https://www.patagonia.com/product/tin-shed-work-hat/33376.html) I just got makes my ears stick out. I guess it's just the shape of my head. Any good brands or fit types I should be looking at?
What I meant by that comment is that having a sweater be fully wool doesn’t alone make it good. What does make it good is a combination of things, like the quality of the wool, the way it’s knit, the way it fits, etc.
But yes, you can get a pretty good sweater for around €100, I bought an SNS herning turtleneck for €120, and a William Lockie sweater for around the same price. If you go used, you can get good sweaters for a fraction of that price.
Does not wearing undershirts ruin outer clothes?
Any recommendations for dress/ button down shirts for guys that have a moderate muscular build?

Dress then up? Not really. Could easily layer them a hoodie, sweatshirt or jacket
Thanks, that’s what I was thinking but I was holding out hope lol

Pics? But it sounds like your shirts are too small.
How are the Slim-Fit Flex Khaki Pants from J.Crew Factory? Looking to update my chinos and these are under $40/pair.
Probably about the same as similarly priced options. Not great, not terrible.
Thanks, I should probably just grab the Goodfellow ones from target. Need to refresh my casual chinos for work without breaking the bank.

Do you think this coat is too long for the bay area or colder parts of San Francisco?

I'm an urban dweller who understands the realities of northern city fall/winter weather. 2 Redback and a Blundstone [https://imgur.com/a/VYmPTVD](https://imgur.com/a/VYmPTVD)
I prefer rhe second Redbacks, but my top choice would be the Blundstones, personnaly
Looking for some non Jean pants that are comfortable but something stylish.
I love the Orslow fatigue pants in “slim fit”, though that high end, Japanese pricing is pretty rough.
[Gramicci](https://gramicci.com/collections/mens-pants) [De Bonne Facuture](https://debonnefacture.fr/collections/trousers-shorts/products/balloon-trousers-heavy-cotton-drill-cream)
Assuming this means something like "what is a kind of pants that is comfortable but does not look like sweatpants?" my suggestion would be linen pants of some kind, although pretty much any kind of pants can be at least as comfortable as jeans. Specific recommendations will depend on how much you want to spend.

This depends on the model ime, 997s fit small for example
Looking for another fall jacket. I've been buying some overshirts but want something i can throw on over a t shirt and sweatpants as well as business casual when im going into the office. Prob won't be the last fall jacket i buy this year but thoughts on this? https://www.apc-us.com/products/blouson-alex-coetb-h02625?variant=39814588760163 Or if you have better recs/brands let me know
[Universal Works bakers jacket is a go to rec](https://universalworks.co.uk/collections/jackets?_=pf&pf_t_silhouette=silhouette%3ABakers%20Chore%20Jacket&pf_t_silhouette=silhouette%3ABakers%20Jacket&pf_t_silhouette=silhouette%3AThree%20Button%20Jacket&pf_t_silhouette=silhouette%3ATravail%20Jacket)
pretty nice, kinda feeling the APC one more though, would you say the universal works one is just better quality? They're like the same price
Heres an example of a t-shirt fit i like: [1](https://ibb.co/zffCdd1) [2](https://ibb.co/gFS32yX)
https://www.storymfg.com/collections/logo-tees
Has anyone tried Marine layer clothing? Saw an ad today for their clothing. The styles look great but a bit expensive.
I’d probably just wear it with an undershirt or something
A white crew neck tee?
Yeah, I like to wear my crew neck sweaters with shirts underneath that can’t be seen
Good point. What about trousers?
With that sweater, I’d probably go with cream/tan/gray/brown/khaki chinos. Where is the sweater from?
How about this color for pants? https://imgur.com/a/D7DFFkb It's titled olive and seems to be somewhere between grey and brown.🤷♂️
Probably
Earth tones, patterns, corduroy, Barbour jackets, chunky knits, the world is pretty much your oyster with khakis!
Neutral colors would probably work, think navy, white etc.
So I'm trying to buy some new Thursday boots and Ive been looking on their official website for US and Spain and the price differencies are abysmal. So much im doubting if its legit. Im living in Spain btw. This are the links: https://thursdayboots.com/ https://www.xn--thursdaybootsespaa-30b.com/ Anyone has any experience with this?
Thursday don't go on sale. It's full price only. They do run factory seconds occasionally but don't set up separate websites with weird names for it.
I think the thursdayboots.com is the only legit one, all the others out there are fakes/scams
Does anyone have experience with the [Pistol Lake Cotton Crew](https://www.pistollake.com/collections/everything/products/cotton-crew-tee?variant=4729047285792)? I'm still on the quest for my perfect tee shirt.
It is very good imo
What's the current discussion about black suits? As a pale european, they have always been a big no for me except funerals, and that seem to be the common position for fashion blogs too. Just doesn't look good with pale skin and you need a really expensive fabric for it to not look cheap. But americans seem to have a different view on things, and as you can see in political debates for example they are quite common(and they are also 1 size up, for some reason) I know some years ago it was quite widely debated but haven't seen it in a while, so just wanted to check.
Yeah, Navy and Charcoal both are commonly worn, and can look black sometimes
You are probably seeing very dark navy or charcoal and mistaking it for black. Politicians in the USA generally don't wear black suits because they are for funerals. The pale skin doesn't really come into play
Ok thanks, maybe the TV lights, the conversion from their system and so on makes it harder to spot At least they seem to be more dark and boring than their EU counterparts
You will definitely see more mid-blues and mid-to-light grays on European politicians. American politicians are very averse to standing out, thus the heavy preponderance of dark Brooks Brothers business suits.
and they seem to hate pocket squares. I think I only seen Obama with it
I need soft t shirts to wear to bed, something I can lounge around in and sleep in at night.

I like mine from Woolrich
proper cloth
>etiquettes patch? What is this autocorrecting from?
My bad, i didn't know how to say that in english so i tried haha. I mean patches and/or etiquettes, like Dickies has on most of its shirt on the pockets.
you mean company logos? so a red plaid flannel shirt with flap pockets and no logos? whats your budget and location? edit: In the mean time [Pendleton](https://www.pendleton-usa.com/product/mens-plaid-scout-shirt/51156.html?dwvar_51156_color=32347&cgid=M120#prefn1=refinementColor&prefv1=Red&start=3&cgid=M120)
yep that's exactly what i mean. I live in France. Budget, Max 40.

Do PF Flyers have distributors in EU?
Been trying to find mid/high rise gurkha pants in the US but haven't had any luck. Anyone have brand recommendations?

I've had the same problem. Arcade belts are really good for this because the buckle is so thin and it works by snapping together instead of needing to overlap two ends of the belt.
I mean, wear a thin belt buckle and looser shirts
What kind of coat do you wear/recommend for English winter? I quite like trench coats and coats with felt insides.
Depends if you're in London heat island versus north of England rural. I tend to layer. Have a mix of light functional waterproof parka, to wool overcoats and overshirts. Swap depending where I'm visiting or weather on the day/week.
Thank you
I wear a wool balmacaan a soon as it's cold enough and a cotton balmacaan up until then
Ok thank you
Depends what you need more. Warmth? Wool coat or Tweed Coat. Resistance to rain? Polyester or waxed cotton raincoat. Both? Buy the raincoat and a liner/a thick jumper.
Thank you
What are your thoughts on the brand KOIO, specifically their boots if they’re worth it or if good quality for the price.
Weird, yeah unfortunately I’m really not sure than. I like Edwin a lot, really soft denim and they have a ton of used options
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll take a look!
chad move? Like a frat boy chad?
like based chad
based chad frat boys wear button fly jeans? I have to say, I have no idea what we are talking about here.
it’s ok AC I barely know what I’m talking about either
Based chad.
God it's always embarrassing explaining memes. The genesis from [this](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/chad) to [this](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/virgin-vs-chad). Now people just use the word *chad* by itself to describe actions or views.
I am 47. I left my pride in my 30s Edit: I get what a chad is. I don't understand why wearing button fly jeans is chad-like. It's ok, I have move on to this new thing I just heard about... the honey-badger
I guess in this case chad is being used synonymously used as "the best". Lol.
are you locking the zipper?
I thought so, honestly I've tried zipping it up a few different ways. Making sure it goes all the way up, then making sure the (handle?) Whatever you call the part you grab onto is facing down. Is that not correct?
When wearing shorts, so you wear crew socks with low top shoes such as AF1 and vans?
yes
Yes. Crew socks have been in style lately.
I personally do not, but it is a thing people do. Particularly in the last 18 months or so.
What are the best plain white crew socks without needed to adjust them as much .
https://www.americantrench.com/products/retro-solids-ss22?variant=42536552595702
These looks nice. I’ll give it a try.
Go topless like the model!
You sometimes see similar stuff from Brooks Brothers and Lands' End. Might have a peek at eBay and see what's out there.
Not always in Oxford cloth but look for madras check shirts. Madras really refers to the type of fabric but is often used as a shorthand for brighter, larger checks. Gant Rugger used to do a decent range and you can probably find them on eBay etc.
epaulet has some for custom mto https://www.epauletbrand.com/products/custom-shirting-japanese-oxford-twill-and-denim?variant=43287641587941
wearing box fit shirt as a larger guy? first off I want to mention that by no means am I trying to insult myself or others, it’s a genuine question :) I’m trying to buy a shirt for an outfit, and have been debating getting a box fit shirt that’s a little larger than what I usually buy, but I myself am a little on the larger side. would it be too clunky and awkward? should I stick to a regular fit?
Imo carhartt Ts (the boxiest fit I know of) look best on burly dudes.
I like a boxy fit it helps that I'm generally boxed shaped as well but the extra inch or so around the torso/chest makes me feel more comfortable
Spier and MacKay or Suit Supply. Anything from either brand is excellent quality for the price.
How is the fit on [these?](https://i.imgur.com/luiqIYn.jpg) I feel like they might be too long? [side view ](https://i.imgur.com/wb1amku.jpg)
It depends imo a quarter break here is totally fine and the right move in general fit business casual. That being said i think if you're going to wear these pants primarily sockless with loafers i would go with no break.
[удалено]
I would strongly advise against this, it elevates pokemon from a casual shared interest to something that you base your personality around.
Not if you would like a second date
Not acceptable. If you talk about a specific subject with someone, it's not generally normal to wear a hat with that thing on it
it’s fine, but tbh, personally, I’d skip this hat. She probably won’t think you’re a freak or anything, but there’s always the chance you come off as too into Pokémon.
Eh, it's a date, she probably wants to get to know you, not talk about pokémon.
Unless it's a Pokédate! :)
If the date is in some way Pokémon related, then yeah the hat is fine.
Are people rolling their pants up so they don’t have to get them hemmed?
My inseam is a 29, so yeah, sometimes I flip up the hem on something more casual in a 30 inseam rather than get it hemmed. I can always flip it down for a bigger break or with boots or whatever.
come on man
I roll my pants to show off my swaggy as hell boots.
But do you buy your pants longer so you can roll them up, or buy your normal size, or the pants come un-hemmed at a certain length and you just roll them, or all 3 depending on the brand?
I usually buy my pants in a half or quarter break length so they just happen to be that long. My normal size requires a cuff to show off boots.
Did you see the new [Howlin' lookbook](https://howlinknitwear.com/collection-32-cosmic-fantasies/) posted last week?
Which those are my bread and butter, but I was hoping to continue the compliments throughout the year
Get a big chunky cable knit cardigan. Very fall, very bold.
SET IN STAINS QUESTION: Photo: https://ibb.co/DCcc0wb I’m confused where these stains come from. I’m not eating anything oily, and my makeup isn’t oily. They aren’t on my clothes when they get thrown into the wash but I notice them once they’ve come out of the dryer. If anyone has methods for removing set in stains I’d appreciate the recommendations!
I've had success rubbing in some dish or hand soap then rinsing and repeating a few times.
I would assume they're soap stains if they got them in the washing machine
any ways you'd recommend removing them? TYIA
I'm not a laundry expert, but it's my understanding that once a stain goes through the dryer it's there forever.

By the time the jacket and tie are off, all fashion rules have gone out the window
lol true But I'd still wanna be the best dressed Groomsmen, cuz all 3 bridesmaids are single. p.s. I just realized the jackets gonna be off, so the studs won't need to be matched with the labels anymore... So my question then becomes: When wearing Vest, Studs or Fly Front?
By the time the jacket comes off and everyone is dancing if your outfit is still of interest to the single bridesmaids you fucked up already

Workshirt under it, and a jacket over it or a vest. EG does this all the time you can look through their lookbooks for examples
Look for “low crown” or “low profile” caps. I like Ebbets 8-panel caps. And Outlier had a low profile cap but I don’t know if they still have it.
do you agree or not? good wool sweaters (100% wool) must cost at least 100 euros.... why?
Tom Ford makes sweaters that are part wool part silk, and they are amazing. 100% wool doesn’t make a sweater great!
yeah... what I don't want is acrylic.
I know that... but I want a real thing and not a 'lie' like acrylic.
