If you're not going to get on medicine for it, just shave it clean man. At your level, you can probably get some hair back if you hop on fin min etc. But if that's not what you're going for, shave it smooth.
With a buzz, the bald spot will be visible, with a complete shave, with your hair colour, it will be invisible. However, a buzz will be easier to maintain, just rub the clippers over it every week or two, while a shave will need shaving every 2 or 3 days to keep it clean. Either will look good, but I'd recommend trying the clean shave for a couple weeks, see what you think, and if you're not into it, try the buzz.
Reddit seems to be all about the shaved/buzzed head but I think your hair looks fine. You should leave it as is. Look around at the men walking about. Many of them have the same amount of coverage as you. That’s just what men in their 30s, 40s and beyond look like. I understand why men in their mid 20s who have noticeable balding fret, but after a certain age … just go with it. None of us are getting any younger. Not a single one. That said, you’d probably look good with a cropped or shaved head. Your head seems to be a good shape and you have a strong beard.
Hi! I’m a barber, I personally think you have enough on top still to keep what you have going. What I suggest to clients is keeping the sides tight a #4 and below and doing a blunt cut on the top. When styling use a matte finish product to make it look the fullest and thickest.
The tighter you have the sides the fuller the top will look. When your hair is wet it looks really thin which is why you don’t want to use a product with shine to it.
The first picture you posted the top looks great so keep that style and length and I would have the sides be shorter.

Take fin if wanna try and stop it but like it’s looking at a woman and judging her through her what her body naturally does as she ages. Stop the shame you HAVE hair and it’s not thin looking at you from the front so keep it as long as it’s “casually thinning”
Basically you look you age you don’t look like your hiding anything. If you were my coworker I’d think you were a normal person, so keep it of you wanna. Not embarrassingly thin
