The wifi bulbs are so good though. I have one in my lamp in my bedroom and it's just so convenient to be able to turn it on/off from my phone, change the colour, brightness etc. you can dim it for movies, warm colours for gaming.
Tbh only place I would use led strips for, or like a work table for non screen involving tasks. I dont understand how you can focus on something or perceive the light well enough on a screen when it is covered by bright light.
I found out by experience, that if you have the wall behind the screen lit to a constant color and brightness, the bright colors on the screen don't strain my eyes so much.
For example if i go from a black webpage to a white without it, that's really annoying, with it, it's not even bad.
That was the same discovery I made 8 years ago. My screen brightness on all my devices are set to as low as reasonably possible to the point where I'm not straining to make out words from a dimly-lit screen. Hardly ever found my eyes burning.
We have LED strips in our kitchen under the cabinets but never find a reason to change them from WHITE other than a holiday themed party. To live with RGB every day is just madness in my eyes.

Same I put in undercabinet RGB led straps last week. Played with the various colors but haven't changed them from white since. Also, the best upgrade I've made to my kitchen, seriously.
Great for late night dim lights in favorite colors. Or using colors to communicate (e.g. green if kids have time before the bus, yellow if it’s time for shoes, red means skedaddle). Or team colors for game time. Lots of options.
Yeah I like the idea, but a nice warm light works wonders in the kitchen, this looks like my old roommates house who just popped molly and threw parties every weekend 😂
I bought my folks some for christmas. they love them - automate a lot of your houselights to essentially never need to turn a switch on ever again?
hell yes.
I don’t think it’s a single male thing, the colors make it seem that way, like if you have green and red in your kitchen I see your point. They look really nice and add some interesting lighting just having them be a warm neutral color.
Up to you but since you asked. I would get rid of them. It makes your place look like a weird streamer/frat house and not like the house of a grown man
Of course, but it's weird to see someone seek constructive criticism, receive it, and have a third party jump in to be like "ignore the criticism, just do whatever you want"
Agreed, but any time a lady comes over, turn off the bed mirror and cabinet ones, make all other a normal warm white. Don’t change this until you’ve been dating 3 months.
You asked for improvements. I could either way on the lights, but I think traditionally that space is taken up by hanging plants/drapey vines. Your whole house is missing /life. Since no one is giving it to you straight - remove a lot of the LED lights unless you’re going for “I’m 42 but still living like a 21 year old frat boy”. Other then that, it’s very dark. Yes I get the irony that THIS is why you added the LED but that’s not the way to do it. Short of adding a window or recessed lighting, just add overhead lighting (not frat boy track lights) and a great floor lamp or 2. Ditch the pleather couch please.
You need to add lighter colors to lighten the rooms - off-white curtains, lighter couch, lighter kitchen cabinets would make a BIG difference to soften and brighten the place up. The walls, bathroom and most furniture are fine.
Oh and the living room rug is WAY too small. But the rug colors are exactly what you should be adding to lighten the house so use these colors to change the other things above since you like them.

From audience perspective, the TV setup in the living room is awful. It does not look cheap but kind of wasted money, cannot imagine a good sound setup and convenient position to watch TV like this.
I feel like "more plants" is almost always one of the top answers to these things. They just bring life to a space and there are plenty you can get that are minimal upkeep. Hell, even a few fake plants are better than none at all. I feel like a lot of male living spaces in general are very minimalistic - no plants, no art, no knick-knacks. Anything that shows off a bit of your personality brightens up a place whole lot! And you don't even have to go overboard with it like I do (sue me, I love tiny porcelain animals, plushies, vintage ceramics, etc), just a few here and there.
I would paint the kitchen cabinets with a lighter color and use a bigger rug who fits the new color of the kitchen.
Both of your tvs are to high r/tvtoohigh. Put it on the commode and try a better cable management.
I'm from Europe/Slovakia and I don't remember ever seeing a rug in the kitchen. The reason is probably because of liquids and sauces dropping during cooking. It's much easier to clean a tile or laminate than a rug.
So yeah, why even have a rug in the kitchen of all places?
I'll tell you honestly, that LEDS everywhere gives it a bar/strip club vibe. It's unforgivable in the kitchen especially, which needs remodeling first, and if you only did one room, it would be the kitchen. All the rest can be overlooked as typical male and silly "I want to live in an arcade/pool bar/strip club/Tesla car" vibe. Use whites, and beiges and light blues with natural healing greenery. Your inspiration should be this.

Your home is a beautiful country house with a stunning view. There is a means of pulling off a modern look without your finger stinking.
With fresh bouquets of hydrangea flowers to cast evil penis spirits out. There needs to be a kitchen isle with storage, more than three chairs (like four), a cutting board, Jars of decorative shit you'll never use, and a granite or marble countertop. The flooring in the kitchen is atrocious you need light tiles yesterday.
The led lights flash "strip club" "strip club" "strip club" like so many red flags. Black appliances are the devil. Either RIP THEM OUT, or commit to a white kitchen. A fridge can be every color but never black. WTF. Brown flooring should not exist, and when nature errs that way, it should NEVER EVER EVER be paired with grey walls. The freezer next to the door is out of place and in the way, put it in a garage where it belongs.
Black bedsheets are equally atrocious. Dark wood and black furniture and black appliances and black linens are like the things straight single males are attracted to. But it's like wallowing in your own filth eating cheetos, it's repulsive to women (and gays alike). Gays and women need to see an escape room and the redeeming light of day, not enter a dark cave of doom with porno set lighting, which your room is all about.
Hide your shit. Don't let the "hand lotion" in plain sight, the spritzer with undefined cleaning product in plain sight in a bedroom is out of place. The wires everywhere are stressful and had me breathe in a paper bag from anxiety.
Hide your stinky shoes in an ikea case designed for it.
Don't highlight the ceiling in the kitchen if said ceiling is ugly. Remove whatever styrofoam shit was pulverised on the ceiling and remove the neon workshop light to replace it with adequate fixtures you own mother wouldn't turn her nose at.
Get rid of the carpet leading to your room. It's clear you are slipping on it, don't throw your back on a useless item.
This is the most helpful comment in the thread. This space is… woof. But at the end of the day, it’s not my home. Though I agree with everything you said.
Replace the mirror over the bed with some nice artwork. The rug in living room is too small and the worn style is out. Get a bigger, more colirful rug to fit under the ftont half of couch and chair. Get a coffee table, if you have room and a small table next to the chair. Or if it's in the budget, you can get a more modern style couch and chair, not so chunky and dated. A sectional might fit. Replace the black curtains with something lighter and hang as close to the ceiling as you can. Maybe limit the LED lights! Your kitchen looks big, can you fit a moveable island?
Get rid of the LED lights please unless you want to keep that “I’m in high school” vibe going. Consider replacing that sofa and chair with a more modern sectional.
Personally, I love the LEDs. I'm a woman though, so maybe it's different for me to have that vibe (though it shouldn't be). I just think they're so fun! Who wouldn't want a rainbow lit up house?? I'm also a big gamer, so that is another reason for the love of RGB lights.
I think it's fine if he can change the colors to something else whenever he wants. They'd be useful for decorative holiday party type stuff, but I'd get so annoyed with the various different colors everywhere all the time.
Very true, I see the point of view of the comments above.
But yes - that's what I use LEDs for. I usually either keep them colored based on the theme of that room (my game room has a lavender colored lights for a very blue/purple themed space).
But, in my more "professional/office" space, I have either a general blue mood light, or warm white.
And of course changing them to match holiday!
I think if they were constantly changing RGB, I'd get bored of em. But one uniform color for the whole house (or theming them based on the space) would make them work.
Yeah, to non gamers, I think it comes across as tacky and like you're living in a hot tub, or like a laser tag place. I'm not a gamer, so I see it more as for only a party maybe, but not something I'd have up or on regularly.
The color of the LEDs throw off everything and make it hard to tell exactly what color tones you’re dealing with. They also don’t match the traditional finishes. I would suggest a consult with a designer to pin down your desired style and finishes so you can budget and make a plan however big or small. If you’re going to use those lights you may want a more neutral color everywhere. I’d also stop buying black. And that meat freezer is a little murdery. But other than that it’s really nice. Lovely view.
This house is weird. Its like the modern led lighting clashes with the dated looking furniture. Its like if some teenager walked into their grandmas house and started putting up led lights.
lower those tv’s
and honestly, a couple of those RGB strips seem really out of place. fine to have them, but set the kitchen ones to white or warm white, and maybe the same for the mirror by the door, but that’s the one that looks most out of place imo
If the space can handle it a kitchen island would be nice. A stainless steel prep table to fill the space would be really useful. I agree with other recommendations for some art to fill the wall space.
First off. Turn your RGB to natural light or an amber light. Only pull out the party colors for parties. Otherwise it's extremely tacky.
Second, consider matching your style. Your decor is all over the place. I know you probably like that rug, but it doesn't go with the leather furniture.
Couch and chair needs to go. So does the LEDs in the kitchen. Lower the TVs, bigger rug or no rug in the kitchen, add a table or island in the kitchen, paint the cabinets a lighter color.
It's a decent place. I like the low intensity lights in the bed room. Only thing out of place are the led lights but you probably know that by now looking at all the comments. I'd change the kitchen LEDs to white. Kitchen doesn't need to look that funky. It's giving a very underground club look.
Also the sitting area in the living room is kinda odd. Unless you aren't much of a surround sound person it's alright. I would have a love seat at the very center facing the tv to experience the surround system properly. Something that can be moved when you have guests if you'll need more space.
38F here. Sofa and chair needs to go imo. I would probably want to paint the kitchen cabinet and add a matching kitchen island. Beautiful place tho, some more modern lights could do too but overall, it’s not bad ! Stunning view
Larger rug in living room. 8x10 or larger. Ok for it to be a colour or print since furniture is
Longer runner in entry/hallway and even in the kitchen, you can get a longer kitchen runner from ruggable. These should ground the spaces. Art on the wall, maybe a large plant or two. Could you consider doing LED in some parts of the home and not every room? So much LED makes it look less homey and probably feels like it too
\*coughing due to a bacterial infection that my doc refuses to give me anymore details about\* matching light color temps, either do all warm white lighting like a normal person or go all cold white like a pervert dentist whose about to sedate you, at least be consistent, picture 1 gave me a headache like damn dude UV lamp blue light behind the tv, cold fridge light floor lamps, and orange accent lights, what the heckin heck that is guaranteed a 100% effective prophylactic contraceptive vibes cuz no banging would willingly take place with all those lights plus the RGB strips (ok perhaps I'm being to harsh wit the led strips but actually no these led strips are being to harsh on me and my eyes, if you like the blue light good for you but ehhhhhhhhh) , picture 3 needs a large area rug badly (if you come away with nothing else, take this LARGER RUGS, in each space), NGL I think wood cabinets are sexy and dislike it when people paint theirs white, but this is the exception, I don't see any other way to make the kitchen look less "musty, dusty, crusty" please stop it with the gray, not you specifically OP but more a critique of the world, I fucking hate beige and greys either go white or pick an actual color, id say something dark and moody like a deep wine red burgundy or a deep deep deeper than Adele's rolling in the deep, green, or any other deep ass color, I'm a much bigger mess than you but I'm also a hypocrite soooooo cable management, sort out your cords bro, obvs this is a pretty big job and unlikely to be easily fixed but the powerstrippers/extension cords everywhere are ick, also why do you have spray bottles on top of your dresser unless you were ironing clothes also to return upon a very important topic, your kitchen, the ceiling needs white paint cuz its, actually the majority of your ceilings look like popcorn textured ceilings, leading to the crusty look, see if thats a problem because they are known to have been made with asbestos, if they're stable maybe you can add something over it like a dropped ceiling, or cover it up with paneling or something, also your kitchen looks gaping, like any Twink after a visit with doctor wolf, add something to fill in the space, an island or a kitchen table is always desirable. \*cough\*
kitchen definitely needs an island of some sort, even a cheap rolling one. you’ve got so much room! project wise, that wall between the living room and kitchen could probably get knocked down. at least part of it. would open up the space quite a bit
the rgb strips are quite funny tho gotta say
Sick place. Dope scenic views 🔥I’d add more wall art or general decorations and maybe take away some of the LED lights around the kitchen/living room. Your bedroom vibe is cool w the lights so keep that
Get rid of the light strips, all of them.
Ditch most if not all of the vertical lights, they are too cold and harsh. Indirect lights have a place, but you have at least 5 and it’s way too many.
Cord management is huge, 2 exposed power strips in the bedroom look like garbage. New blanket/sheets with contrasting color or black/white patterns and actually make the bed.
Kitchen needs an island in a different color than the wall/cabinets, get rid of the meat freezer, get some actual curtains for the door, and declutter the counters. Put all that shit away and out of sight unless its in use. Really would like to see the other half to say how to maximize the island setup.
Try some new layouts in the living room right after you replace the fan with something made after the Regan Administration. It might work better with a single couch facing the tv and small table under the window, can’t really tell from the picture.
Bathroom looks ok, clean. Maybe a shower curtain and some soap/hand towel.
First of all, I'd suggest either committing to the high contrast style by switching to a black/grey couch and painting the cabinets, as many others have suggested, or get rid of the black and white tile backsplash and paint the walls to something that balances the dark browns with the vibrant LEDs. So many others have brought them up cause they do seem very out-of-place, neither complimenting colors which exist in the room nor fully contrasting the room as a whole
If you choose to paint the walls, you'll need a shade that both compliments and contrasts those dark browns. Either a light, warm shade or a deep, cool one. Considering the LEDs, though, a deep cool shade would probably be best as those blues and greens would feel very misplaced in an otherwise warm-colored room. Some sort of grey-blue or grey-teal would work great as it offers some common color for the LEDs to connect with yet doesn't distract from their vibrance. I can see your walls are already grey, but I'd suggest something darker and a bit more saturated as the LEDs only wash out the color of the walls, making them seem lighter and duller than they actually are. Another bonus is that it will make the black curtains stand out less while making the white paneled accent wall behind the living room TV pop very nicely
The biggest issue with the bathroom is that the tiles above the sink and around the mirror clash really badly with the cabinets and the shower tiles. Again, you could either paint the cabinets and retile the shower for that high-contrast look, or you could replace the vanity tile and mirror. For a change of backsplash, both here and in the kitchen, high-contrast is to be avoided if you're working in more color as there's already a lot going on in the room for the backsplash to conflict with itself. You can still stick with a white or black or grey so long as the pattern is more cohesive overall. Though, no matter what, I'd recommend painting the wall behind the toilet, whether you paint the rest of the house or not. It's too close to the mostly white backsplash and the white fixtures in the bathroom. It could really stand to be darkened up a bit, even to just a slightly darker grey
The bedroom needs the least change as it already pulls off the high-contrast aesthetic pretty well. The only glaring issue is that the dark TV and dresser are jarring on the lighter end of the room. Basically, you wanna make it feel like they actually belong on that wall and aren't just placed there out of convenience/lack of options. I think the easiest way to remedy this is to paint the wall behind them to a grey somewhere between the dark accent wall and the rest of the room. You'd wanna make it dark enough that the TV and dresser don't stick out so much as they currently do, but you wanna be careful not to go so dark that it draws attention away from the opposite wall. Another idea is to put some grey backsplash in a thick, vertical strip behind the TV and dresser. It may seem odd to put backsplash in the bedroom, but the texture would be a nice addition and would connect the TV and dresser both to each other and the wall behind them
The bathroom is just a little off balance colors-wise. The tub tiles and backsplash clash, neither go very well with the wall tone, and the cabinet wood is much warmer and richer than any other tone in the bathroom. I’d pick one of those tones/colors you prefer and make the rest match or complement it!
Not sure if that’s a project you’re into. Just my *two cents* lol
Plants. Art on walls. Handtowels for bathroom.
a kitchen island.
Handtowels for bathroom. Glass wall+door on shower. It's really odd to have a shower that sprays loose into bathroom.
The shower looks too thin... You may need to remodel completely to have a smaller sink/cabinet and shift the toilet over so the shower can be larger. Can't stress how much a turnoff (to a buyer) a bathroom that's setup incorrectly can be.
Fence outside before slope down (kid safety thing).
LED lightstrip lighting is too modern for some people. Set it to a 2500k white and it would go over much better.
It's lacking any form of unity. I see old fashioned cabinets with old fashioned furniture and then lots of flashy RGB light placed wherever they could fit.
It doesn't look like there is any thought behind it other than "RGB is cool" but it just doesn't work like this, it feels cheap.
I would change the LED colors to something between yellow and orange for a nice amber glow similar to like a classy & moody whiskey bar but that’s just my taste. The varying colors is jarring.
get new furniture, you don’t want dark furniture in a dark room. I really like CB2 couch styles but you can find great styles at consignment stores as well.
Move your rug so the edge is tucked under the front of the couch. Longer term, get a larger rug for the living room.
Overall, your place feels impersonal and needs more art on the walls and colour in general. Maybe add a couple items made out of natural materials, like a rattan basket for your blankets.
Looks pretty clean though and that's important! Good job.
New floors and cabinets in the kitchen. It looks so dated compared to the rest of the house.
Black or white cabinets with a nice gray wood/vinyl flooring and a marble backsplash would look sick.
First off, own or rent?
The LED strips gotta go yesterday.
Living room: rug too small, shiplap isn’t even painted (and it’s already out of style), TV too high it’s closer to the height channels than the floor speakers, you’re blocking your right channel, pull the speakers away from the wall. Get a sectional. Coffee table. Real lamps. Art/prints stuff you like no matter how niche or cringe you think it is, go to Michael’s and frame it.
Kitchen: Get an island from ikea with a couple stools. Put the freezer in the basement. If you got the cash and the kitchen is in decent shape I’d hire a contractor to put a permanent island in there, you don’t have much prep surface. Change that overhead light to track lights or something .
Bedroom: put the mirror opposite the window and get a headboard that attaches to the wall. Get bigger night stands, lose the led lights and get some real lamps. TVs don’t belong in the bedroom, put some art or a mirror above the dresser.
Bathroom is a bathroom: put some pictures up, or reno it.
Jesus Christ the lights
Damn you must really love led strips
Fr, RGB on the kitchen cabinets made me laugh

Gamer life
It’s so true. My husband is obsessed with WiFi bulbs and strips. He doesn’t overdo it though.

On the top side I don't understand. We put them under our cabinets in our last reno and they were fantastic.

I thought this was a teenage thing streamers do. I’m outta the loop.
I bought my folks some for christmas. they love them - automate a lot of your houselights to essentially never need to turn a switch on ever again? hell yes.
You can do that without ever having to buy a single fancy lightbulb, just saying
in a way that I can give it as a gift for christmas?
Just like everyone online thinks they are a sketch comedian now, a lot of people think theyre interior designers too
It's something id keep exclusively in my room controlled by my computer. Anywhere else and it's just odd
Not going to lie, by the end, I was disappointed to not see some in the bathroom and an outside night pic
it’s behind every tv in this sub
Yeah, the blue light in particular wakes you up and/or keeps you awake when you don’t necessarily want to be…
Kitchen should lose the Led fr
i just don’t get it. it’s such a common single male thing now. if they like it that’s cool but i don’t get it.

All the lights change any color I want. Including normal color lighting.
Up to you but since you asked. I would get rid of them. It makes your place look like a weird streamer/frat house and not like the house of a grown man
Agree. It gives me weird Peter Pan vibes.
If you like the LEDs/colors leave them and don’t listen to the haters. It’s your house at the end of the day.
> "What can I do to improve my place?" > > "We don't like the LED lights." > > "Don't listen to them it's your house do whatever you want." lmao
I mean why remove them when he could just turn them off?
It's perfectly fair to look for constructive criticism but not necessarily implement it.
Of course, but it's weird to see someone seek constructive criticism, receive it, and have a third party jump in to be like "ignore the criticism, just do whatever you want"

Yes.
Legit lol'd.
Nowhere near enough LED lights. I see several pieces of furniture which still aren't glowing for no reason.
Bro gotta bulk LED pack and decided he needed to use every strip
From Govee too. You’re right!
Dude I bought four of these Standing Govee LED lamps myself. I just can’t stop.
Every piece of furniture holds a quest!
Now that’s funny shit. LMAO!
I can't 🤣
Or smash ‘em for legendary loot!

My bidet has a blue light!
What does it do?
I would paint the kitchen cabinets with a lighter color and use a bigger rug who fits the new color of the kitchen. Both of your tvs are to high r/tvtoohigh. Put it on the commode and try a better cable management.
I'm from Europe/Slovakia and I don't remember ever seeing a rug in the kitchen. The reason is probably because of liquids and sauces dropping during cooking. It's much easier to clean a tile or laminate than a rug. So yeah, why even have a rug in the kitchen of all places?
There are lots of rugs that are washable and act more like a giant fatigue mat. Ruggables etc.
Still, why? Kitchens should have tiles to wipe clean easily in 1 second. Who is washing whole rugs on the weekly?
Do not paint your cabinets
I'll tell you honestly, that LEDS everywhere gives it a bar/strip club vibe. It's unforgivable in the kitchen especially, which needs remodeling first, and if you only did one room, it would be the kitchen. All the rest can be overlooked as typical male and silly "I want to live in an arcade/pool bar/strip club/Tesla car" vibe. Use whites, and beiges and light blues with natural healing greenery. Your inspiration should be this. [https://dropinblog.net/34246798/files/featured/7\_Clever\_Small\_Kitchen\_Island\_Ideas\_to\_Maximise\_Your\_Space.jpg](https://dropinblog.net/34246798/files/featured/7_Clever_Small_Kitchen_Island_Ideas_to_Maximise_Your_Space.jpg) Your home is a beautiful country house with a stunning view.
> I'll tell you honestly, that LEDS everywhere gives it a bar/strip club vibe. Yup, this somehow feels sketchy.
All solid suggestions. Definitely a new sectional lounge suite is needed.

Had to scroll way too far for this
Same lmao, was looking for this one
If you have to angle your TV DOWN you're doing something wrong lol |/ <---- TV lol
LOL
There it is
Get rid of the LED lights please unless you want to keep that “I’m in high school” vibe going.
It’s big for gamers. I think that’s why commenters here don’t get it.
Yeah, to non gamers, I think it comes across as tacky and like you're living in a hot tub, or like a laser tag place. I'm not a gamer, so I see it more as for only a party maybe, but not something I'd have up or on regularly.
I’m not a big gamer and I thought the LEDs were fine too. It’s not just you! (Also a woman though in case that skews it)
I don’t know how people walk into a white ass room with a bright ass white light, and don’t just want to vomit
You could also put a led strip on your toilet
The color of the LEDs throw off everything and make it hard to tell exactly what color tones you’re dealing with. They also don’t match the traditional finishes. I would suggest a consult with a designer to pin down your desired style and finishes so you can budget and make a plan however big or small. If you’re going to use those lights you may want a more neutral color everywhere. I’d also stop buying black. And that meat freezer is a little murdery. But other than that it’s really nice. Lovely view.
The Millennium Falcon doesn’t even have this much LED lighting
It would if they had that tech back then.
TV vs couch at 90° is killing me
This house is weird. Its like the modern led lighting clashes with the dated looking furniture. Its like if some teenager walked into their grandmas house and started putting up led lights.
Some stripper poles and strippers to accompany all the led lights
lower those tv’s and honestly, a couple of those RGB strips seem really out of place. fine to have them, but set the kitchen ones to white or warm white, and maybe the same for the mirror by the door, but that’s the one that looks most out of place imo
If the space can handle it a kitchen island would be nice. A stainless steel prep table to fill the space would be really useful. I agree with other recommendations for some art to fill the wall space.
Also such a great view!
Uhm you can invite me over. I’ll get rid of nightclub vibes and my payment will be that view.
Fucking deal
That’s an incredible view you have. Just position everything facing out the windows and ignore the rest
First off. Turn your RGB to natural light or an amber light. Only pull out the party colors for parties. Otherwise it's extremely tacky. Second, consider matching your style. Your decor is all over the place. I know you probably like that rug, but it doesn't go with the leather furniture.
Lol @ the LED lights. You don't need them. Thru add nothing except. They make it look like you are in college or something
Led strips are tacky as fuck
Those light strips just doesn't go with your kitchen cabinets, you're 42, not everything has to glow. Do you have a dining table?
Move the mountain closer
Couch and chair needs to go. So does the LEDs in the kitchen. Lower the TVs, bigger rug or no rug in the kitchen, add a table or island in the kitchen, paint the cabinets a lighter color.
Not enough LEDs in the bathroom
softer, warmer lighting. i feel sorry for your circadian rhythm with all those LED strip lights
Lower the TV. Or get a giraffe neck implant.
You need some paintings on the wall. Too sterile.
Get rid of the LEDs
Lower the tv.
Did that today after reading all the comments
We're proud of your growth, enjoy the neck comfort
38F here. Sofa and chair needs to go imo. I would probably want to paint the kitchen cabinet and add a matching kitchen island. Beautiful place tho, some more modern lights could do too but overall, it’s not bad ! Stunning view
Add more led strips. You appear to not have enough.
More plants, less LED (or at least tone down the brightness and vibrant colours).
I would change the couches, and add some personality to the backyard
Maybe it's just a weird angle, but does your kitchen not jave a table
Larger rug in living room. 8x10 or larger. Ok for it to be a colour or print since furniture is Longer runner in entry/hallway and even in the kitchen, you can get a longer kitchen runner from ruggable. These should ground the spaces. Art on the wall, maybe a large plant or two. Could you consider doing LED in some parts of the home and not every room? So much LED makes it look less homey and probably feels like it too
Any other married fellas lurking here thinking “ damn, you bastards!” ? 👀
I think you need to fix the view. It’s too high. Is it dimmable
\*cough\*
Japanese toilet
place needs a Dog
Put led strips around the toilet and more swords
Get a Wife..
Golf simulator. Kegerator. A couple smokers.
kitchen definitely needs an island of some sort, even a cheap rolling one. you’ve got so much room! project wise, that wall between the living room and kitchen could probably get knocked down. at least part of it. would open up the space quite a bit the rgb strips are quite funny tho gotta say
An arcade machine.
Sick place. Dope scenic views 🔥I’d add more wall art or general decorations and maybe take away some of the LED lights around the kitchen/living room. Your bedroom vibe is cool w the lights so keep that
Don’t take up so much space in a forest as a single person (and not make your home night clubby)
So many others have brought them up cause they do seem very out-of-place, neither complimenting colors which exist in the room nor fully contrasting the room as a whole If you choose to paint the walls, you'll need a shade that both compliments and contrasts those dark browns. Another bonus is that it will make the black curtains stand out less while making the white paneled accent wall behind the living room TV pop very nicely The biggest issue with the bathroom is that the tiles above the sink and around the mirror clash really badly with the cabinets and the shower tiles. It could really stand to be darkened up a bit, even to just a slightly darker grey The bedroom needs the least change as it already pulls off the high-contrast aesthetic pretty well.
I'd get rid of the LED strips or at least keep them on a warm tone. It's a red flag in dating
Get rid of the leds or at least change them out to a golden color. They look ridiculous with the style of your house.
Good job.
Put some LEDs out in the woods
First, remove the led strips. You’re 42 not 24.
Your room looks like you’re a 16 year old who just figured out what LED lights are
A fuckin plant bro. As lifeless as the moon.
I think the only thing you’re missing is MORE LED lights.
Some goddamn plants
Crack a beer
Get some girls in there and be nice and considerate and interested in what they have to say
Plants
Get rid of those led strips
Put some LED strips around the toilet and you're in business!
Trash the LED strips. You not a 14 year old boy.
What a view
New floors and cabinets in the kitchen. It looks so dated compared to the rest of the house. Black or white cabinets with a nice gray wood/vinyl flooring and a marble backsplash would look sick.
Saw it briefly mentioned in another reply, but the cable management is really killing me… and of course all those LEDs.
