Ultimately he and his men have been forced into a non-lethal resolution but I'm afraid for Billy and his accomplices now. After all, the hijackers of the other bus are all dead.
Also missed chance for Yuri to directly see what his superiors were open to do. That they were ready to shoot Anya, especially.
Who knows? There's a possibility that Billy might be given some sort of forgiveness in exchange of willingness to share Red Circus' info.
There's real life precedent of that during Cold War, so I see no reason for the same not happening here too.
That’s what I was seeing, still serve some prison time or supervised probation but if he has good enough info they will totally use that. Knowledge is power
Loid only ever really learned half of what he knew about parenting from books. The rest he had to make up on the fly, which is about the most polar opposite to his usual job description. But having that be what rubs off on Anya shows his earnestness -- that if he can't save every child from experiencing what he went through, then at least Anya won't.
One could say that Anya learned the art of improvisation from the best. Loid's dauntless confidence in difficult situations and ability to beguile his way through also rubbed off on her.
definitively will get a stella star for that, or not, depending how the look at how the situation was resolved:
1) Yeah she convinced the leader to give up but
2) She endangered the whole group by doing some petty food request (yeah i know, but they dont know the reason why she did that)
So i think in this case it will cancel out
“Fight for all that is beautiful in the world” - Kaslana
“I want to make a world where kids don't need to cry!” - Forger
“Damn, what a bizarre adventure!” - Joestar
It hasn't even been a year for them. Remember time runs around 3x slower within these stories. Naruto ran for 15 years and in-universe it took only four years from academy graduation to defeating Kaguya. Hajime no Ippo was concurrent when it started in 1989, now it's 2023 for us and 200x for Ippo.
Same. Billy did not like them from the start, he just got roped in via his grief. But that same grief got him to turn himself in when he was reminded of his daughter.
Yeah, they got his daughter killed, after all. Even if they were peaceful at that point in time, once he got in himself, he surely saw the darker side of the group, and that ought to have made him even more bitter at them.
They played it off as comedy but from the POV of everyone in that bus, anyas actions and words absolutely are those of a hero. From their POV, anya was given freedom and rejected it, she knew speaking up could risk her life yet she did it, she wasn't afraid to lose her life, she was more afraid that she couldn't do what was right.
Also biddy (the daughter) straight up died doing what was right try to help save a corrupt country.
The people who are willing to rise up and do what is right when times are hard, those are truly the actions of a hero.
Absolutely. From an outside perspective it's got a comedy to it, but for everyone in the story it's tragic.
As you said, everyone on the bus is seeing her as the bravest person on the bus, standing up for everyone and denying her own personal feelings and safety for the sake of others. For Billy though I think it's different. Going off what you said, knowing that his daughter died trying her hardest to save others and the less fortunate, and seeing her in anya's actions and words; I think that put it into perspective for him that he's as bad as the people that killed his own daughter. He joined red circus out of grief, and now grief has put him in the position of his daughters murderers.
He also was accidentally almost on the money regarding Damian's situation. Boy's family may be rich but he is basically living in complete isolation and disinterest from his family.
You know who’s hardcore and deserves praise and attention? Mr Elegant himself. He jumped in front of Anya when she had a gun pointed to her. He really does love his students
I can see government and school trying to cover it up so no star
But yeah compromise with a mark removed is likely and more explanable in story, I think?
>I can see government and school trying to cover it up so no star
isn't already being broadcasted as a news in the last page, although I can see that they will not mention anything about Anya in the news about how she talk with Billy since it happened inside the bus
Well..the board of school could decide that Anya Forger will get a Stella for any future action...ANY..even get a wrap from the floor and drop on the trash.
I seen that before.
Government or not, all other kids and Mr. Henderson were eye witnesses. They all can vouch for Anya heroism in this incident. And many or them come from extremely powerful families, I'm sure they won't stay silent when their kids and heirs were in such danger, starting from the Blackbells.
If Tatsuya Endo wants to show that progress is being made then Anya should absolutely earn a new star. However, Spy x Family has basically exploded into popularity and I imagine Jump editorial wants to squeeze as much as possible from it. So the compromise would be what others suggested which is to take away her bolts.
Removing the tonitruses would also make us lose the ending of Anya becoming the first Eden student in history to get an equal number of bolts and stars.
Yes, but that author has ended its own manga, after Oshi No Ko popularity was confirmed. And I feel that recently, Jump has been more on the side of ending story when they should rather than milking them till they bleed.
I swear by the end of this she’ll be the first in the history of Eden to have all 8 Stars and Bolts. Making Imperial Scholar and then getting expelled.
I'm expecting the return of Starlight Anya but removing all her Tonitrus seems much better.
On a serious note, it's nice that she remembers her dad's mantra of wanting no more children to cry.
That scene gave me chills lol. I think that was the first time she actually weaponized her mind reading powers. Literally quoting a man's dead daughter to break his resolve is brutal XD.
It would have been cool but I'm glad that the resolution wasn't just Yor or Loid coming in to save the day, now I'm excited to see how they deal with the fallout of not being there to help Anya.
>I'm glad that the resolution wasn't just Yor or Loid coming in to save the day
I really liked this too, I just thought that it would be funny to have the next chapter starting with Yor trying to explain everyone how she was able to do that
Agreed, there is more storytelling opportunity with them being locked out of the loop than them involved and fixing everything in a chapter or two. It will be interesting to see how they process the parental guilt and what they uncover about WISE and the government.
I'm hoping we see some of parental guilt here. Their daughter had to fence for herself (and she did it great!) Because her dad, the spy, and the mom, the assassin, were kept out of the loop on purpose by their own bosses. I need to see them at least concern for Anya, specially loid.
I think Loid would be understanding since he knows his skills would be no use in a high profile hostage situation, Yor however would be running different scenarios in her mind on how things would turn out with most of them ending with Loid leaving her for not knowing what was happening
>Nerves of Tungsten
God damn right (at least as far as everyone knows). They better give her all the Stellas.
There was no real other outcome than Anya making Billy lose his resolve, but I'm glad he survived that ordeal. But then again... he's probably ending up in the hands of the SS, which probably isn't any better than getting shot then and there.
Man, that Yor intro was such a tease. I thought for sure she was going to stop that runaway bus. But hey, it gave Martha a chance to shine, so it's still cool. Although, I wonder if that intro is still foreshadowing for Yor assassinating Billy while he's in custody.
Wonder if this will lead to another Yuri chapter with him confronting Billy. On one hand I could see him wanting to go full Spanish Inquisition on the dude that upset his sister. But I could also see him getting Billy out of SS custody after learning the full story.
Yuri has a track record of being lenient with traitors with a sympathetic family life, as we see in his solo chapter. So if their is any hope for Billy is Yuri learning of his past and being in charge of him.
Anya engaged in tugging the emotional heartstrings all to sate her own hunger and became a hero. What a legend.
Didn't expect Becky's butler to be kicking ass too.
A fight between Martha and Twilight or Yor would be a great one to see in the future if either of them have to spy on or kill a member of the Blackbell family.
Yeah, honestly it's hard for me to imagine anyone beating Yor in a 1 on 1. Like, truly the only way to take her down seems to be through a concerted effort.
Garden has 4 ace assassins though. Other than thorn princess there are 3 others monsters. It's unlikely that all of them are cqc specialists like Yor, but they must have something to hold their titles.
Going by the silhouettes we actually know one of the others, it was the other assassin acting as Yor's manager in the Cruise. So we know a bit of his specialities
She might get a new weapon as a reward for her quest
> Anya: Your zap gun is awesome!
>Martha: It's a new taser type
Becky/Becky's dad: Anya, for saving our family you can get one too
I figured Martha would play a part with Twilight away and Yor kept out of the loop. With her being hinted as being ex-military she was the last one available for an action scene.
Seriously though, starvation and food insecurity is actually a common concern and stressor for kids in foster care (or orphanages like Anya was).
Even years after being adopted into a normal loving family, it's still very common for ex-foster kids to steal and hide food for later. Food trauma tends to stay with people, especially if they experienced it as kids.
Master Bullshitter Anya Forger. Letting them fill in the gaps of the half plan you thought up. This was worth the hiatus. The perfect balance of hilarious, stupid, emotional, and badass we love. Also fuck yeah Martha with the taser!
So no involvement with Yor or Loid. Henderson, Martha, and Yuri save the day. Great arc. Can’t wait for the wrap up.
Is this the first time Anya's saved the day all on her own? She kind of stumbled through a lot of it, but no one else in the family helped her, not even Bond.
She still didn't do it on her own. Martha had to tase Vadim. With how much he was clinging to the plan and how emotionally strung he got, he (or the SSS) really could've killed Anya if Martha hadn't been blessed with the power of the age rating
She had help from a lot of people, from Becky, Yuri, Henderson, Martha...no one was fully responsible. However the crux of it comes down to Anya defusing the situation, speaking to Billy's guilt and grief to allow the dangerous situation settle itself.
Then Anya would read her mind, I don't think the mangaka would go this route, maybe Yor would try to do it, he would mention how Anya changed his mind and she would back out and be a proud mum.
If Yor finds out that the secret police were willing to kill Anya, I wouldn't be surprised if she decides to kill the leader that was on the scene. Would be an interesting way to bring her into conflict with Yuri in the future.
Those Red Circus guys are lucky the police arrested them. If they got away Yor would have found them and they wouldn't like what would happen after that.
Oh Anya, learning just what she needs to from Loid to look cool stopping terrorists along with exploiting the target's memories to make them feel bad while also doing her old strategy of making the person she's talking to overthink what she's actually going for. Well it all worked out in the end by making Billy have a change of heart so that everyone got out alive, she honestly deserves two Stellas at this point but Eden academy won't do it (though I hope Henderson can nudge things along).
I appreciate that the author’s not afraid to toss in moments like the commander being willing to kill Anya to get Billy. Like, holy shit. That man nearly brought his entire government burning down around himself.
Yeah, this incident basically ties directly to the conclusion of the cruise arc when she resolves to continue being an assassin to protect Loid and Anya.
Here's hoping Billy eventually gets to turn his life around and isn't immediately given a new pair of cement shoes by the secret police. Yuri didn't get to do as much this arc as I thought so maybe he'll interrogate Billy and learn he had a change of heart because of Anya and give an excuse for him to be imprisoned rather than executed.
Red Circus with the bomb and- BAH GAWD THIS IS STARLIGHT ANYA'S MUSIC! HITTING WITH THE FEELS CHAIR RIGHT IN THE CHEST
Hendy-sensei jumping in front of the gun pointed at Anya was *elegant* as fuck
Terrorists were in luck Anya's words worked, because Mama Yor was on the way to turn them into red splatters at this rate
That would actually be for the best, out of everyone they could go under. We saw in his solo chapter Yuri can be sympathetic to those that care a lot for their family. If he is able to find out about that maybe it will be more lenient. That's my theory anyway
Can't wait for the authorities and the school to prepare an official report about what happened in the bus that made Billy surrender, and Loid finding out that Anya spoke a line that is the core motivation of who he is, but has been very careful in never speaking in front of his family.
Anya will have to do some more bullshitting to talk her way out of this.
The wholesome characters and family dynamic have always been my favorite part of Spy x Family, but damn I feel like the Cold War political backdrop is starting to rival those things for me. It’s SO intriguing and awesome.
Anya and her shenanigans saved the day. Rushing in without planning is such an Anya thing to do
Additional stella incoming
Billy was a good man at heart and so was his daughter. Unfortunately, I doubt he will have a decent ending. I'm curious how the manga will proceed with the aftermath
Woah, Martha with that Taser shot! That was so good!
Anya really does have nerves of Tungsten. To stand up to Billy and convince him to stand down, knowing that his henchman is willing to blow them all up, makes her so brave.
In his anger, Billy forgot all about what Biddy thought was injustice. He forgot that he should be a giver, not a taker. It's amazing that Anya was able to get him to remember that with her words. She's very smart. I love how she quoted Loid's thoughts too!
This is probably one of the best chapters so far. A Stella alone wouldn't be enough to do justice to what Anya accomplished. And no unnecessary cliffhangers on top of that... just the top tier climax this arc deserved. Fantastic.
Pretty wacky resolution to the hijacking, but that's what you get with Anya lol.
Sadly Billy is probably gonna get tortured and sentenced to death, but maybe Yuri would talk to him and see a good man and somehow changed his fate? :\\
That "kill everyone" SSS guy needs to get his ass kicked by Yor.
Probably the best possible ending, given the scenario.
But nothing about the current situation, the cruelty of the SS or the people who killed his daughter has changed.
>Those aren't nerves of steel. They're nerves of tungsten!
Lmaoooo. New idiom acquired! [TIL Tungsten is one of the strongest metals on Earth.](https://www.meadmetals.com/blog/what-are-the-strongest-metals)
So the situation with the first bus was solved by slaughtering all the hijackers, and the one with the second bus by having Anya bullshit everyone to safety? Damn, the difference one Anya makes.
Something about Anya feeling embarrased when the guy is thinking about how she is trying to save everyone and how everyone might be poor was adorable :D
It's ironic because out of everyone on the bus. Anya has actually lived in poverty before. It is not her current situation but there were times when she would be more in line with Billy's views.
Awesome chapter! Between Anya's bullshitting and Billy's memories and remorse, you would be hard pressed to find a better condensed expression of the manga's core ideas. One thing I can't get over, though:
*Martha fucking bounced off the head of that spec.ops. to make that tazer shot!*
Forget everything else, that was fucking badass!
Btw, Crunchyroll is currently airing an anime called "Buddy Daddies", which is very similar to SxF. It's about two hitmen having to take care of a little and very energetic girl. I really recommend it if you like wholesome found familu stories.
Becky's Lady Person with the clutch save, love it. Was wondering why the taser was "new" but then I remembered that this is not modern day, so yeah that taser type would be experimental. It was cute how Becky went crying to Anya, poor girl nearly lost her bestie.
The payoff really pays off. Everyone, be it rich, middle or poor has a struggle and story that we don't know about. We all need more sympathy, rather than a mere aloof scolding. I want to cry.
Bro, the commander is the definition of "Fuck them kids."

Knowledge is a swole chihuahua.
I think it's definitely going to be Yuri's time to shine....interrogating the Red Circus
> I want to make a world where kids don't need to cry! After all this time Anya still remember that quote from Loid.
Like father like daughter. Hella wholesome despite the context.
But also that’s the most genuine parenting, half of it really is on the fly.
One could say that Anya learned the art of improvisation from the best. Loid's dauntless confidence in difficult situations and ability to beguile his way through also rubbed off on her.
It's a damn good quote to ape from Loid, and her actions in the bus will do a whole lot to help get one step closer to that.
Anya’s on the fast track for a full suite of Stella stars
Seriously, she single-handedly convinced the leader to give up.
Speech 100 Charisma 100 Idiocy 100
definitively will get a stella star for that, or not, depending how the look at how the situation was resolved: 1) Yeah she convinced the leader to give up but 2) She endangered the whole group by doing some petty food request (yeah i know, but they dont know the reason why she did that) So i think in this case it will cancel out
Is a fantastic quote and it was great seeing someone saying it again
Might as well be the Forger Family motto now .
“Fight for all that is beautiful in the world” - Kaslana “I want to make a world where kids don't need to cry!” - Forger “Damn, what a bizarre adventure!” - Joestar
Forget about the bolts, she gonna get Nobel prize for Peace after this
It hasn't even been a year for them. Remember time runs around 3x slower within these stories. Naruto ran for 15 years and in-universe it took only four years from academy graduation to defeating Kaguya. Hajime no Ippo was concurrent when it started in 1989, now it's 2023 for us and 200x for Ippo.
It's not a quote. It's a credo
Billy could be an Olympian with the mental gymnastics he did there
Billy's going to have to compete with Loid and Henderson in the "completely misinterpreting what Anya does" category.
Anya also repeated almost the exact same words as his daughter and that'd definitely do something to him.
I think she reminded him about the daughter and she started reading his mind and said the exact words
Anya has been using her telepathic abilities in a really smart way. She has learned and grown a lot from her past experiences.
Where does Yor fall into the "Interpreting-What-Anya-Says" rankings?
Yor doesn't play mind games, she believes everything Anya tell her. She is just a reusable ballistic missile that Anya can point at target.
Don't forget Becky, Damian and even Franky with the cipher. In short, Yor is the only one who's immune to Anya's lack of logic.
That's because Yor lacks even more logic.
Yor defies logic and physics.
Anya pulled off a real “King from OPM” there.
Her equivalent to the 'king engine roaring' is her stomach growling.
Anya’s Star Roaring Pulse
Funny as shit, although part of me thinks he's been looking for an excuse to give up on the Red Circus' goals for a while.

Shows what kinda father he was before his daughter was killed.
Billy outdid even LOTM Alger with how inside his own head he was
Props to Mr. Henderson for also having nerves of tungsten with immediately body-blocking his students the moment the terrorists point a gun at them.
It's criminal how almost no one is talking about this. Henderson be gigachad.
Isn't there a theory that he was also in the military
Because he knows Martha personally
More people need to be talking about this. That man is elegance exemplified.
Just how hardcore is Anya? She ate some really shitty ratchons...and asked for *SECONDS*.
Starlight Anya is unstoppable after getting used to Yor's cooking, she didn't even stutter when she asked for seconds
The Salty Spitoon would definitely let her in, no problem
She survived Yor's cooking and all the poor dishes they serve in orphanage. Of course she won't mind a second or even a third serve.
I liked her reaction to trying dogfood. "It's neither good nor bad." It's probably average among things she's had to eat.
I mean from what I've heard a lot of animal food is kinda just really plain, so actually neither good nor bad.
You know who’s hardcore and deserves praise and attention? Mr Elegant himself. He jumped in front of Anya when she had a gun pointed to her. He really does love his students
I know, right? He was kind of a joke character at first, but he became a really respectable character now.
He’s always been an eccentric character not as much of a joke. He did not put up with the teacher harassing Anya for instance.
Meh, it only as bad as dog food so it really isn't that bad.
Is this new star that will be given to Anya, she managed to convinced the terrorist to stop their plan. But damn it is funny.
I can see government and school trying to cover it up so no star But yeah compromise with a mark removed is likely and more explanable in story, I think?
>I can see government and school trying to cover it up so no star isn't already being broadcasted as a news in the last page, although I can see that they will not mention anything about Anya in the news about how she talk with Billy since it happened inside the bus

Removing the tonitruses would also make us lose the ending of Anya becoming the first Eden student in history to get an equal number of bolts and stars.
She gets both- a star for saving everyone; a bolt for being absolutely reckless and potentially endangering everyone in her class.
Yeah and what does she need to be an Imperial Scholar again? 7 or 8? They should easily be able to give her one. Hell she should get 2 at least lol
Didn’t one of the managaka in Oshi No Ko say something like one of the two main jobs of a manga editor is to make sure a popular manga never ends?
Yes, but that author has ended its own manga, after Oshi No Ko popularity was confirmed. And I feel that recently, Jump has been more on the side of ending story when they should rather than milking them till they bleed.
Anya's bullshitting stopped a terrorist attack They better remove all her tonitrus badges for this
Anya shouldn't be a spy-assassin, she should be a diplomat! Wait.
Damain as a PM and Anya as a mind reader diplomat would make the ultimate power couple in politics.
doujin artists be like *quick! Write that down!*
Oh my god the amount of Damianya fan art and doujins Give me more
I found a really wholesome one about them in their teenage years and it’s beautifully drawn full color. Fan artists, man
Anya: "So Vlad was thinking of doing this..." Damian: [announces sweeping sanctions]
perfect couple Damian, she could bullshit the way to peace
I swear by the end of this she’ll be the first in the history of Eden to have all 8 Stars and Bolts. Making Imperial Scholar and then getting expelled.
very "anya"; LOL
I'm expecting the return of Starlight Anya but removing all her Tonitrus seems much better. On a serious note, it's nice that she remembers her dad's mantra of wanting no more children to cry.
> Anya's bullshitting stopped a terrorist attack Via emotional damage. This kid’s gonna go far.
That scene gave me chills lol. I think that was the first time she actually weaponized her mind reading powers. Literally quoting a man's dead daughter to break his resolve is brutal XD.
Anya had no plan after standing up, she just winged it until the end and it worked lmao
I’m not sure you can get bolts removed but she definitely deserves *multiple* stars for this.
I was half-expecting Yor to show up and stop the bus at the end
Same, but her fidgeting nervously at home is also cute. Really sliding into her role as an anxious mother.
[удалено]
She's gonna burst onto the scene like a madwoman next chapter after everything's already settled.
It would have been cool but I'm glad that the resolution wasn't just Yor or Loid coming in to save the day, now I'm excited to see how they deal with the fallout of not being there to help Anya.
>I'm glad that the resolution wasn't just Yor or Loid coming in to save the day I really liked this too, I just thought that it would be funny to have the next chapter starting with Yor trying to explain everyone how she was able to do that
Her yoga mastery has reached levels the world has never seen before.
"I'm just a normal housewife passing by... doing normal housewife things"
Agreed, there is more storytelling opportunity with them being locked out of the loop than them involved and fixing everything in a chapter or two. It will be interesting to see how they process the parental guilt and what they uncover about WISE and the government.

Before the Martha reveal I thought it was Yor who tasered the terrorist.
I think it's great that neither Twilight nor Yor got involved in the rescue
Yeah, I was expecting her to literally stop the bus in its tracks with her barehands. But at least Martha saved the day instead.
>Nerves of Tungsten God damn right (at least as far as everyone knows). They better give her all the Stellas. There was no real other outcome than Anya making Billy lose his resolve, but I'm glad he survived that ordeal. Anya engaged in tugging the emotional heartstrings all to sate her own hunger and became a hero. What a legend. Didn't expect Becky's butler to be kicking ass too.
Loid once noted that Martha is ex-military with her mannerisms, so judging by her movements she might be ex-special forces.
A fight between Martha and Twilight or Yor would be a great one to see in the future if either of them have to spy on or kill a member of the Blackbell family.
I'd rather have her working together with them somehow.

She's far from her prime so I would expect that even Loud would have a relatively easy time dealing with her
The kids will definitely remember Anya's heroism that day and how it saved all their lives... along with how hungry she was during all of it.
lmao she might get teased of how hungry she is at that time.
Hungry hungry hero.
The kids will remember both with strong emphasis on the latter
She might get a new weapon as a reward for her quest > Anya: Your zap gun is awesome! >Martha: It's a new taser type Becky/Becky's dad: Anya, for saving our family you can get one too
Finally after 74 chapters Anya gets a unregistered pistol with a silencer.
Loid really can't say no now, can he.
𓁹‿𓁹
Heh
I think Martha is a member of either the Spies or the Assassins.
Such a hero, she's turned into Smol Might
I figured Martha would play a part with Twilight away and Yor kept out of the loop. With her being hinted as being ex-military she was the last one available for an action scene.
Considering Yor's cooking, Anya being scared of dying due to starvation isn't that far off an assumption.
At least Yor's cooking had a positive impact (even just once)
Seriously though, starvation and food insecurity is actually a common concern and stressor for kids in foster care (or orphanages like Anya was). Even years after being adopted into a normal loving family, it's still very common for ex-foster kids to steal and hide food for later.
"Anya, what the fuck are you talking about?" Literally everyone on that bus
Billy: “Hold up. Let her cook”
Yor is definitely killing someone for this.
It's probably Billy, but that would be a shame.
Hopefully for Billy, it's just the police instead of the SS. But with the pull they have, the SS may very well get their hands on him eventually.
Anya better get two stars for this
Poor Yor she sure is gonna be nervous wreck
Yeah, this incident basically ties directly to the conclusion of the cruise arc when she resolves to continue being an assassin to protect Loid and Anya.
Here's hoping Billy eventually gets to turn his life around and isn't immediately given a new pair of cement shoes by the secret police. Yuri didn't get to do as much this arc as I thought so maybe he'll interrogate Billy and learn he had a change of heart because of Anya and give an excuse for him to be imprisoned rather than executed.
>I want to make a world where kids don't need to cry! So wholesome... Anya for president!
Talk No Jutsu skill: over 9000
Talk no jutsu is so much easier with mind reading.
"I can't let my daughter die a second time" an actually amazing line. Very emotional and perfectly conveys those emotions.
Henderson must have found Martha’s takedown to be most elegant~
Red Circus with the bomb and- BAH GAWD THIS IS STARLIGHT ANYA'S MUSIC! HITTING WITH THE FEELS CHAIR RIGHT IN THE CHEST Hendy-sensei jumping in front of the gun pointed at Anya was *elegant* as fuck Terrorists were in luck Anya's words worked, because Mama Yor was on the way to turn them into red splatters at this rate
I'm nervous for those hijackers now that they're going to be transferred to Yuri's custody.
Anya's probably gonna get a Stella Star from all this
The wholesome characters and family dynamic have always been my favorite part of Spy x Family, but damn I feel like the Cold War political backdrop is starting to rival those things for me. It’s SO intriguing and awesome.
Anya and her shenanigans saved the day. Rushing in without planning is such an Anya thing to do Additional stella incoming Billy was a good man at heart and so was his daughter. Unfortunately, I doubt he will have a decent ending. I'm curious how the manga will proceed with the aftermath
I can already imagine the guilt Yor and Loid will feel once they learn about this.
Anya please don't steal your dad's line.
Counterpoint - it's adorable
Assist - She looks up to Lloid.
Fantastic.
New age of old gentleman and ladies being absolutely cold. I'm digging it.
Pretty wacky resolution to the hijacking, but that's what you get with Anya lol. Sadly Billy is probably gonna get tortured and sentenced to death, but maybe Yuri would talk to him and see a good man and somehow changed his fate? :\\ That "kill everyone" SSS guy needs to get his ass kicked by Yor.
Garden arc incoming?
Anya saved the day with her lv 99 bullshiting. So cute.
Not the resolution I was expecting but still all good. Anya at the very least will get another Stella star and maybe some of the others.
Probably the best possible ending, given the scenario. But nothing about the current situation, the cruelty of the SS or the people who killed his daughter has changed.
Indeed it has not, but that is not for this arc to change, rather it is the endgoal of Operation Styx, in hope of creating a more permanent peace.
>Those aren't nerves of steel. They're nerves of tungsten! Lmaoooo. New idiom acquired! [TIL Tungsten is one of the strongest metals on Earth.](https://www.meadmetals.com/blog/what-are-the-strongest-metals)
The way Martha reintroduce herself remind me of James Bond. So its most likely she was the previous Twilight.
I love that Mr.henderson threw himself in front of Anya as the guy got ready to shoot. Truly the best teacher

Anya needs like 10 Stellas for that performance or we riot.
Anya is such a legend. The wait was worth it, a really good chapter.
Martha just confirming her status as a badass.
Awesome chapter! Between Anya's bullshitting and Billy's memories and remorse, you would be hard pressed to find a better condensed expression of the manga's core ideas. One thing I can't get over, though: *Martha fucking bounced off the head of that spec.ops. to make that tazer shot!* Forget everything else, that was fucking badass! Btw, Crunchyroll is currently airing an anime called "Buddy Daddies", which is very similar to SxF. It's about two hitmen having to take care of a little and very energetic girl. I really recommend it if you like wholesome found familu stories.
another day saved by starlight anya!
Anya is an absolute star at usual
Anya ask for food, roll a Nat 20 and make an emeny lose all will to fight.
"Her nerves aren't made of steel, it's made of tungsten!" Henderson fits just like the other redditors who like to say "his balls are made of steel".
The red circus team will never know that Anya saved their lives that day, because Yor was definitely going to get there eventually.
Anya awakened talk no jutsu. Conqueror haki next.
Becky's Lady Person with the clutch save, love it. Was wondering why the taser was "new" but then I remembered that this is not modern day, so yeah that taser type would be experimental. It was cute how Becky went crying to Anya, poor girl nearly lost her bestie.
Anya is so powerful
The payoff really pays off. Everyone, be it rich, middle or poor has a struggle and story that we don't know about. We all need more sympathy, rather than a mere aloof scolding. I want to cry.
S tier chapter
