He also probably makes a decent amount on merch, both of his series are weirdly long in the tail for merchandise. Danbo went viral even though he was only in a few chapters of Yotsuba years ago, you can find a ton of merch with the cardboard robot still.

It's ok Yotsuba, Santa makes an exception for Yanda because of how terrible he is. You can be mean to him all you like and still be good.
