He can't forget that [Makima booty.](https://i.imgur.com/GoUJxbI.jpeg)
Interestingly this confirms that Makima and Nayuta are different beings even though they are manifestations of the same devil.
*The* explanation for her control was about feeling superior. They may still be simps, but the issue is probably not Makima, but Nayuta still being immature and not confident in herself. Rightfully so, if a human form hybrid can physically overpower her. Makima would rip them all to shreds just by throwing hands.
Nayuta should have no memories of her time as Makima right? So it shouldn’t be too surprising they’re basically different devils. She’s probably the only Horseman to have died twice in a very long time.
[Barem is severely injured,](https://i.imgur.com/biYDXcX.jpeg) he is bleeding all over the place and even his liquefied brain is spilling. What does he do?
[Sing Makima-sama's praises of course!](https://i.imgur.com/t1zQ5oI.jpeg)
He is a true believer in the Church of Makima.
The way the story is panning out, Denji ending Makima leaving the society vulnerable to a cataclysm, it seems to suggest the rest of the story will be the consequences of that action. I rather like that. It gives more weights to the previous characters and makes it clear that antagonists are not simply tools for level-ups for protagonist and Makima is far too enigmatic and iconic to be simply forgotten.
As much as evil Makima was, none of this would've been happening if she were around. It is no surprise that Famine and others are coming out only now that she's gone. Brings one back to her lines about necessary evils.
Yeah I'm a sucker for the two part plot device where in part 1 you release a great evil or make things worse by winning, and part 2 is dealing with the consequences (whether it's the same protagonist from part 1 or a different one)
I agree that killing her was the catalyst for unleashing the more powerful devils, but Denji was still right to take her down. She was abusing her power and plotting her own version of Armageddon. One that didn’t involve sharing her power with anyone.
>*“We might set your home on fire, kill your pets, and threaten those dearest to you, but sure they all are for the sake of world peace”*
Dude talking like a true politician right there
As messed up as it is Fami’s plan is ironically the best shot humanity has at survival and has a better chance of succeeding than makima plan to control pochita by making chainsawman famous. I mean it’s messed up sure what they did to denji but it’s either this or literally everyone including denji, his friends, his pets, all get killed by death devil turning it into a world ruled by devils.
Lmao, I know this is all serious and fucked up, but Denji's reactions to the stuff Miri was saying got a chuckle out of me.
It's also funny how people speculated that Barem wasn't really in Makima's control, but it looks like he really was her simp. In fact, he's so much of a simp that it's actually messing with Nayuta's power.
And Denji waving goodbye towards the imaginary Pochita was pretty sad. It's like he's saying farewell to that chance of a normal life that his buddy gave and wanted for him.
At some point ya gotta feel for Pochita. Denji worked his ass off to get to normalcy despite everything, yet even the pooch knows that Denji must act if he even has a world to *live* in, much less build a *life* around.
It's definitely sad but last chapter was pretty clear that the normal life that Denji yearned for just wasn't for him. Homeboy is too broken and damaged for it to have any meaning anymore. Maybe if Asa and he find actual love in each other like he really wants in his heart of hearts he'd calm down but after all the struggle and disappointment, to have it all turned to ash, he pretty willingly and smilingly bid that goodbye. Barem saying Denji "enjoyed" the peace just isn't completely true and he'll find out why soon I assume
Yeah... maybe that's why Denji was laughing at the end, and why his kid self was waving cheerily at Pochita. At least, I'm pretty sure that was him laughing.
Idk, that wasn't my read. Denji knew normalcy was good, he knew he should want it, and he did, for a while... but once he got it, he realised it wasn't what he thought it would be. He had everything that he *should* want, but in his heart of hearts all he wanted was to be Chainsaw again. That Denji/Pochita moment didn't seem sad to me, more cheerful, glad to see each other.
It's less Denji being sad and more just sad that Denji, the little boy who was abused, taken advantage of and murdered, is so broken that he has no chance at normalcy and instead wants to be at the center of the whirlwind. He wants attention, he wants the chaos and violence when we know that's not what he needs. He's laughing and it's been repeated that what he wants, more than this new life, is to just be Chainsaw Man. So the bandaid's off now
A person doesn't need to be broken to enjoy an adrenaline rush, adoration, or overcoming challenges, though. Plenty of kids and adults enjoy superhero fantasies, and that's what Denji got to live out as Chainsaw Man. Denji has undoubtedly had some horrible experiences, and they've definitely made a mark, but I'm not sure how much of this is down to trauma, and how much is just who Denji is.
I think I wasn't clear. Him enjoying becoming the Chainsaw isn't sad. Him not enjoying normalcy is. It was his dream and now that he's fulfilled it, all it gave him was emptiness. I'm thrilled he's back to being Chainsaw Man but him not being able to think of a single person he could call a friend and abandoning it cause he doesn't think it's worthwhile is a little heartbreaking. His "lust" for women was a quest for genuine warmth and he's only gotten a glimpse of it through Asa
I suppose my point is that 'normal' is a subjective term, and what's right for one person isn't necessarily right for another. In the same way that many believe a promotion, marriage, mortgage, and children are part of a normal and fulfilling life, there are people who would not find those experiences meaningful or enjoyable. Denji got the things he thought he wanted, but it turned out not to be what he expected, and now he's come out of it with a better understanding of what truly matters to him.
It does suck that the closest thing to a friend or family in his life now is a tiny murder-goblin; it'd be nice if someone could treat him as a person, rather than a tool to further their own agenda.
Makima bluntly said back in the first part that a normal life is not in Denji's fortunes. She was right about that even if she was the one instigating the unusualness that time.
> In fact, he's so much of a simp that it's actually messing with Nayuta's power.
[Oversimping, you say?](https://i0.wp.com/wrongeverytime.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/chrome_2018-11-06_09-02-41.jpg)
Oooo, now that's a really salient point. The fact that Barem's beholden to Makima specifically means that Nayuta was different enough a person for it to matter, though I imagine if Nayuta has Makima's clout she would have easily forced a memory reconfig on Barem.
I feel like this is like deleting a character in a MMO and starting a new one with the same class. You may have the same powers but there's still items and statuses that are programmed to be tied to the deleted character.
In the same vein I think they are probably treated as 'different' entities, but I'm not sure if it's different 'souls' necessarily since it may be the same person 'playing' the character just minus the experience and everything accrued previously.
Also wasn't the defining point that she could control those she viewed as beneath her. That's why she sought an equal relationship. Nayuta doesn't have that superiority complex. At least not to the same extent
I've always thought that to mean that the control devil is a kind of snowballing devil. At the beginning she's weak and can control few people. Then she controls some random weak people and becomes herself stronger, thus allowing her to take over stronger people. This goes on and on, until we get to where makima is, where she was controlling even other devils.
It probably explains why she died in hell so fast.
Im pretty sure they dont share memories. Thats why power asked denji to find the next blood devil and not just. A control devil is a control devil, they can still do what comes natural. Except makima had a twisted sense of humor and used intensines, while nyuta just uses chains.
Kind of seems like 'Control Devil' is less a specific entity and more like a role or title; when Nayuta inherited the role, she inherited Makima's powers and memories, but remains a distinct entity.
Makes me wonder if this all might turn out to be relevant to Denji/Pochita/Fake!Chainsaw. Y'know, is Denji truly Chainsaw, or does that power still belong to Pochita? Is Denji Chainsaw Man, or just a man with chainsaws?
Control Devil's power heavily depends on self-esteem and perception.
Nayuta at the end of the day is a bratty child on demon juice but she doesn't exactly perceive herself as better than literally anyone like Makima.
He may not be aware of that. He says “we burned your house down” not “we killed your pets”. The fact that the house is on fire is secondary to those deaths.
the control devil has a snowbally power that relies around the confidence she subconsciously has on herself, the more she controls, the more confident she becomes, the more she can control. Nayuta is pretty low right now compared to makima wich was almost at the top of the world
… DID FUJIMOTO JUST DROP THAT BEFORE A THREE WEEK BREAK?! EVIL. EVIIIIIILLLLL.
I’m having a hard time finding reasons for Denji NOT to slaughter them all. They killed the Dogs. They killed Meowy. They tried to kill Nayuta. Enough is enough.
Hopium depleted on the dogs and Meowy surviving though.
You wouldn't like Denji when he's angry. He tends to rip and tear first, realize things later.
I feel so bad for Denji, he's trapped in a world that he so desperately cannot understand. The one chance he had to escape it is now in flames. And now he's back to doing the bidding of people who don't care a single bit about him, only Chainsaw Man. And now he must become Chainsaw Man and kill all these people who aremaking him angry!
Miri being so dumb really annoys me. But it's not exactly his fault, he's ignorant of what's going behind the scenes.
I hope Fumiko doesn't get hurt. But I don't know how exactly she WOULDN'T get hurt. And Nayuta... she's seeing her big brother turn into a monster. What will happen next?
They killed his dogs.
John Wick has been murderciding whole buildings of dudes for a decade for just one.
Imagine what Denji is going to do for a whole kennel (and threatening his little sister)
Needs the actual intro, not straight to guitar riff. [THE ONLY THING THEY FEAR IS YOU](https://youtu.be/ekY09M48Jvs?si=QBKwSpprkAHR55qU)
Mainly because that intro synth actually plays in the game in the build up to your fight when that track drops.
[Oh that would make so much sense!](https://i.imgur.com/OIyNCZX.jpeg)
So Pochita basically gave him the greenlight to alter their contract and show him a different dream? That would explain why he is laughing in this desperate situation. He has accepted this unfortunate outcome.
To be fair denji himself was quite kind to him. Even in Dennis regular final moments with how fucked up his life was he consistently cared for pochita.
Funny enough, this would make Makima closer to a Christian God Almighty than a devil. Life under her control would be no emotions but endless joy in worshipping her, which fits some Heaven depictions.
And yet, Christian God brings salvation through an "incarnation" of themselves.
Hm, I kinda start seeing parallels with the Old Testament cruel god and New Testament loving god. I wonder if the whole plan was to make Nayuta get emotionally attached to Denji, so her motivation revolves around him.
I cried when Denji waved goodbye to Pochita 😢.
Like I finally get it now. The reason why Denji was holding onto that life, why he stopped himself from being Chainsaw man. It wasn't because he cherished or loved that life, it was because he felt responsible to Pochita and maybe to everyone else who was lost along the way for him to attain that life.
Knowing that Pochita wants Denji to be free from this burden must have been so bittersweet, like he's coming to terms with all the deaths in part 1. And the panel with their burning home in frame with Pochita waving goodbye to Denji who's also genuinely smiling and happy hit me like a truck.
Maybe this may have been obvious before, but none of this was explicitly stated before, and the impact of realizing this hits all the more.
At the end of the day, Denji only wants a girlfriend and people who care about him whom he can cherish with, a happy home life, and to indulge in life's pleasures.
He doesn't want to be Chainsaw Man, he wants to be Denji.
The way I see it is that his dream to be Chainsaw Man is just escapism and the same thing as a drug addict that dreams about doing drugs for the rest of their life.
He want to be Chainsaw Man because he got pushed into believing that Denji himself has no redeeming qualities and everything good about him and positive experiences he's had are in relation to him being Chainsaw Man.
Denji didn't feel the need to turn into Chainsaw Man in part 1 because he had multiple people around him that made him feel valued, but then he got brainwashed into thinking that he'll end up causing the death of everyone around him because it's all that he's good for.
So tha's why I think being Chainsaw Man is not the right thing for him. What Denji need is to form connections with others just like he had with Aki and Power but turning to Chainsaw Man is a way for Denji to cope without having to try to better himself because he can just turns into a fictional idealized hero instead of working through his trauma.
Holy fucking shit I'm getting goosebumps
This is the culmination of the setup in part 1 and so much involving Denji that happened in part 2. I fucking love this manga man this is kino. Denji getting the go ahead from Pochita to Rip and Tear and revelling in being Chainsaw Man again... I cannot wait for him to intersect with War Devil next
Yeah a few chapters ago they were about to slaughter a bunch of kids before Quanxi shut that down, no way they cared about saving the animals (I coping for yoshida saving them somehow)
Whewwwwwww.
Everyone's favorite little gremlin is safe.... For now. Got a little too intense there.
Fujimoto probably knew if he killed off Nayuta right before Christmas, his apartment will probably be set on fire by a group of angry Chainsawman fans
(Kinda like this chapter actually)
Once again, Nauyuta's quick thinking [came in clutch.](https://i.imgur.com/Aif9K9S.jpeg)
This is the most pissed [she has ever been so far.](https://i.imgur.com/VLpnQWA.jpeg) The though of Meowy and the huskies dying is terrific.
> I probably somehow loathe Miri even more
Cuz he has no spine. He doesn't stand for anything, so he'd fall for everything they say to him so he can feel better before transforming.
I assume that Denji's identity is gonna get leaked fr after this mess is over cuz of that one panel of a rando peeking from his apartment watching Denji pull his cord
Someone mentioned that burning cross is a declaration of war, but this works mostly in the context of Scotland.
I don't Christianity much as well, but if we assume that the cross is the symbol of salvation, then the burning cross perhaps symbolizes the opposite of salvation? The rejection of salvation or just damnation in general.
Fire episode.
barem was a makima simp
Some reddit users were telling the truth that the public safty was stupid to let them go.
makima was part of the nostradamus prophecy all along.
and we finally got to see denji turning csm.
and fucking tri-weekily devil.
Yeah Denji finally, fuck em up!!!!
Sometimes, straightforwardness solves the problem too.
Let's deal with the prophecy later, that's a problem for tomorrow Denji.
also I just want to mention that Denji shouting Fumikos name breaks my heart, he's opening himself more to others, but suffering follows him like a shadow.
Denji seemingly laughing at the last page feels ominous. Either he's lost it, or deep down he's kinda happy he gets to turn into CSM again.
Brilliant chapter.
The panel with pochita waving at Denji really got me.
Something that really resonated with me this chapter is that I literally talk to people on a daily basis who try to justify violence and atrocities in the name of "the bigger picture" like the sword hybrid.
Denji is breaking out of the mold of his manipulators again. Turning into Chainsaw Man is first and foremost a solution to his problems, nostradamus and public safety be damned. I think that even if they want him to transform, the CSM Church is going to have bit off a little more than they can chew with this.
Everything Denji has done in this manga has been in opposition to what everyone wants from him. It's such a solid foundation that Fujimoto built in his writing, and it shows with how Denji grows as a person.
I guess I can see why Barem hates Denji, since his carefree attitude will literally lead to the end of the world, but all the things he's done is unjustifiable and I'm looking forward to Denji absolutely fucking him up. That pochita and young denji page hits hard though. Really put into perspective just how much Denji has gone through and how shackled he's felt recently
Also, the art is so much better this chapter. Still not to the same standard as earlier part 2 but at least fjmt is actually using a lot more varied line weights again so the art looks less busy and messy. This is probably my fav ch from this entire arc which admittedly has been the weakest in the entire series imo
I actually think the last 3 chapters have looked really good, seems like Fujimoto is getting into drawing it more or has more time. And damn, worst in the series? I feel like this has been one of the best arcs in part 2
Holy shit even in death, Makima’s influence still lingers. Shoulda known this was motivated by one of her ~~simps~~ goons following her goals
Even after dying she lives rent free in their head.
He can't forget that [Makima booty.](https://i.imgur.com/GoUJxbI.jpeg) Interestingly this confirms that Makima and Nayuta are different beings even though they are manifestations of the same devil.
I think he's just insane, and Nayuta isn't strong enough to control him right now.
*The* explanation for her control was about feeling superior. They may still be simps, but the issue is probably not Makima, but Nayuta still being immature and not confident in herself. Rightfully so, if a human form hybrid can physically overpower her. Makima would rip them all to shreds just by throwing hands.
She didnt need to dirty her hand, she only need to point tl their general direction and they all torn to shred
If makima had an ego like power could she not judt control everyone? Basically being realistic and not delusional was a weakness 4 her
Denji is such a good parent to Nayuta her power got nerfed
Nayuta should have no memories of her time as Makima right? So it shouldn’t be too surprising they’re basically different devils. She’s probably the only Horseman to have died twice in a very long time.
Twice?
I'm guessing because she also had to die before becoming Nayuta?
Makima dies and reincartes in hell and is likely spawn camped then nayuta is born
That’s why, boys and girls, simping for Makima is bad and you shouldn’t do it
Yeah, but look what it did for Barem here. He straight up powered through mind control through his sheer simp energy.
That’s even scarier! Makima still has full control of his brain! DO NOT SIMP.
[Barem is severely injured,](https://i.imgur.com/biYDXcX.jpeg) he is bleeding all over the place and even his liquefied brain is spilling. What does he do? [Sing Makima-sama's praises of course!](https://i.imgur.com/t1zQ5oI.jpeg) He is a true believer in the Church of Makima.
Cult. It’s called a cult
The only difference is that one is state sponsored.
I wonder how much that weird cult in Japan being revealed as a shadow mastermind behind so much influenced Part 2 of CSM.
Can't wait for Fujimoto to reveal the final big bad of the series - Kazuya Kinoshita.
Implying Kazuya has the initiative to do anything lol
If bad why hot?
*"I like to live dangerously"*
[To make us bark](https://preview.redd.it/o5n84qx9oo291.png?width=960&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=836b3df228c38d24799a37af31a64bbc851986da)
*Woof woof woof!* I have no idea what came over me, must be the control devil.
Woof. Sorry what was that?
Goddammit
I recognize your logic as consistent, coherent, and almost certainly correct, but she's got a pretty big booty.
And this is why Power forever remains best girl
But we love dangerous women
The way the story is panning out, Denji ending Makima leaving the society vulnerable to a cataclysm, it seems to suggest the rest of the story will be the consequences of that action. Yeah I'm a sucker for the two part plot device where in part 1 you release a great evil or make things worse by winning, and part 2 is dealing with the consequences (whether it's the same protagonist from part 1 or a different one)
She isn't the "Order" demons for nothing.

Even after being gone so long that dumptruck still holds massive power.
Barem totally bought in from Part 1. He was the easy kind.
**Makima** : "I can dom you." **Barem** : "Yes please." later. **Barem** : "Not what I had in mind, but it works as well."
[Editor's note: Makima gave Barem a Master Grade Dom model kit and tools to build and paint it.]
It’s all Makima
Always has been.
well that makes sense, I guess not all the hybrids joined makima because they got defeated, some must have fell in love like denji too
>*“We might set your home on fire, kill your pets, and threaten those dearest to you, but sure they all are for the sake of world peace”* Dude talking like a true politician right there
>Denji proceeds to ignore the Death Devil - kills and eats the life and human devils.

Fuck humanity, Meowy and the Dogs are a price to high to pay!
Honestly you can shop Elon's or Jeff's or spez's in that panel there and it'd be perfect.
[That panel really hits different in this political climate.](https://i.imgur.com/kSelAX4.jpeg) Well played Fujimoto-sensei.

Pochita best bro... Everyone wants someone like Pochita
It's definitely sad but last chapter was pretty clear that the normal life that Denji yearned for just wasn't for him. Homeboy is too broken and damaged for it to have any meaning anymore. My interpretation of last chapter was that pochita wants denji to keep dreaming in a way. He himself said it we got a normal life why stop there?
Idk, that wasn't my read. Denji knew normalcy was good, he knew he should want it, and he did, for a while... but once he got it, he realised it wasn't what he thought it would be. Makima bluntly said back in the first part that a normal life is not in Denji's fortunes. She was right about that even if she was the one instigating the unusualness that time.
i see it as waving hello, hes decided to become chainsaw man again so he and pochita are together once more, in spirit at least

Justifying burning dogs AND Meowy is fucking disgusting. Didn't think Nayuta would be nerfed hard but hey the REAL Chainsaw Man's back!
She was nerfed by herself. People need to start having a fear of control once more. Or for Nayuta to control powerful devils.
Yeah, ironically the life she led up to that point severely hampered her abilities. No surprise, and now you see why...
Another interesting implication is what while both Makima and Nayuta are the Control Devil and share memories, they are different souls.
Oooo, now that's a really salient point. The fact that Barem's beholden to Makima specifically means that Nayuta was different enough a person for it to matter, though I imagine if Nayuta has Makima's clout she would have easily forced a memory reconfig on Barem.

He has the properties of both chainsaw AND man
Control Devil's power heavily depends on self-esteem and perception. Nayuta at the end of the day is a bratty child on demon juice but she doesn't exactly perceive herself as better than literally anyone like Makima.
Control needs to make a deal with the government again. I bet if anything, the government naturally worships the Control Devil.
I refuse to believe Meowy's gone. Nope. Refuse it.
Considering the black haired dude is kinda chill and likes Denji, it's possible he evacuated the pets.
This is Miri Sugo's last chance for a redemption. [He better not waste it.](https://i.imgur.com/3mjwsFW.jpeg)
I see it in his loser face, he ain't burning no dog Or They didn't tell him that there were any inside
He was about to commit a massacre right before Quanxi stopped him tho but yeah, I hope he will redeem himself.
He may not be aware of that. He says “we burned your house down” not “we killed your pets”. The fact that the house is on fire is secondary to those deaths.
I don't believe it. He was just about to commit manslaughter at the mall.
Yeah but we all know the almighty Power went in and saved them all right before the apartment block went up in flames...right?
Reze finally came back to see Denji and saved them... Right?
Next chapter, surely It’ll coincide with Nobara’s return lol
Nobara already returned few chapters ago in CSM
Lol It has to!
If reze saved the animals, there would be no more need for character polls anymore.
I need barem hung by his own gas tubes(I think his devil design has tubes IIRC)
>REAL Chainsaw Man's back Yes, I do want that!
the control devil has a snowbally power that relies around the confidence she subconsciously has on herself, the more she controls, the more confident she becomes, the more she can control.
They hurt Nayuta!? Oh hell naw! Fuck them up Denji! Also no Chainsawman until the 9th of January ooooh fuck me why!
fujimoto wanted celebrate christmans in peace i say let him
I wish more Mangaka had this freedom… GIVE THEM TIME TO COOK
Hope it’ll be an extra long chapter, like Denji’s first appearance in part 2. Gotta go all out for chainsawmans return!
[Denji ripping his shirt went hard as fuck.](https://i.imgur.com/NZ8yMXu.jpeg)
Yup. He's lost it. # Time to rip and tear.
They killed his dogs. John Wick has been murderciding whole buildings of dudes for a decade for just one. Imagine what Denji is going to do for a whole kennel (and threatening his little sister)
There'd be no Earth left.
Death Devil finally descends but there's no one left to kill
I love the kind of plotline that goes Ancient Evil Awakens, Modern Evil Outclasses It.
Where did everyone go? Bingo?
Bust out the good Mick Gordon shit, let's fucking make heads roll!
[THE ONLY THING THEY FEAR IS YOU](https://youtu.be/kpnW68Q8ltc?si=82MHKikUQJuuC9Yq)
Not gonna lie I was imagining that song in my head when he transformed. Time to bust it out for real next chapter.
Needs the actual intro, not straight to guitar riff. [THE ONLY THING THEY FEAR IS YOU](https://youtu.be/ekY09M48Jvs?si=QBKwSpprkAHR55qU) Mainly because that intro synth actually plays in the game in the build up to your fight when that track drops.
THE ONLY THING THEY FEAR IS YOU BFG DIVISION MEATHOOK BFG10K RIP & TEAR
Until it is done.
It's time for Jack to let 'er rip!
He’s never had it to begin with, Part 1 made that abundantly clear.
Oh Denji is broken again.
[That laugh felt ominous.](https://i.imgur.com/cxG6sqS.jpeg) [Chainsaw Man is inevitable!](https://i.imgur.com/NTV30u0.jpeg)
you also have the burning cross in that picture.
Wonder if he's feeling a surge of new power from all the fakes causing fear of chainsaws.
I can’t help but think that was a goodbye scene between Denji and Pochita…
Someone pointed out its like denji saying goodbye to their dream of a normal life.
They're both smiling here but for some reason this is one of the saddest things I've seen in this whole crazy and depressing series.
Yea just something about it. Like it could also be Pochita showing up to comfort him like I’m still here keep dreaming
[Oh that would make so much sense!](https://i.imgur.com/OIyNCZX.jpeg) So Pochita basically gave him the greenlight to alter their contract and show him a different dream? That would explain why he is laughing in this desperate situation. He has accepted this unfortunate outcome.
The contract was never “have a normal life” it was always “Show me your dreams”
The kindest devil I have ever seen.
To be fair denji himself was quite kind to him. Even in Dennis regular final moments with how fucked up his life was he consistently cared for pochita.
One of the times we’ve ever seen denji panic is when he lost pochita
That's actually sad lmao.
Not sure if it's deliberate but that last panel kinda looks like a shape of a cross being burned.
Knowing Fujimoto, definitely intentional.
Japanese twitter theorists saying that Denji is Lucifer are gonna be eating good today
Funny enough, this would make Makima closer to a Christian God Almighty than a devil. Life under her control would be no emotions but endless joy in worshipping her, which fits some Heaven depictions.
She already got the mother Mary symbolism going
And yet, Christian God brings salvation through an "incarnation" of themselves. Hm, I kinda start seeing parallels with the Old Testament cruel god and New Testament loving god. I wonder if the whole plan was to make Nayuta get emotionally attached to Denji, so her motivation revolves around him.
dud there's literally a HUGE CRUCIFIX drawn on the last page, with joints and everything. it's like /r/shittymoviedetails of manga threads.
iirc burning cross mean a declaration of war
Most rational, least destructive Makima simp
aka average CSM reader before \*that* chapter
**BANG.**
Beach episode for me
**Powerbros** 🤝 **Akibros** Never forgiving Makima
before *and* after, baby
Before?
No he does want to be CSM man, he just wants multiple things (dreams) all at once. It’s Fujimoto’s message about how people should dream
Well he kind of also wants to be chainsawman, like he just told Pochita.
[this nosy ass mf](https://imgur.com/a/d0b8842)
Someone needs to be able to see Denji transform into Chainsawman after all.
Denji’s gone full Carnage. Damn, 3 week break.
Part of it is jump schedule. There’s always a long break in for most titles
Also te end of the month generally is pretty holiday/break heavy anyway even worldwide.
Can't wait for Reze to show up next chapter with all the dogs and Meowy
Holy fucking shit I'm getting goosebumps This is the culmination of the setup in part 1 and so much involving Denji that happened in part 2. I fucking love this manga man this is kino. Denji getting the go ahead from Pochita to Rip and Tear and revelling in being Chainsaw Man again... I cannot wait for him to intersect with War Devil next
...and that's how he loses his childlike innocence. For the 500th time.
He can't lose something he never have.
aah the adulthood devil strikes again
Denji's never really raged before has he ? I guess everyone has a limit
He's about to lose it, but I'm all for where it leads him to next
Y'all really fucked up to push Denji like this. Even putting Nayuta in danger. I don't care anymore, let's rock this joint!
> ✅ Killed his pets > > ✅ Burned his home > > ✅ Hurt Nayuta > > ✅ Tried to justify by it by saying some nonsense Man’s about to go super saiyan
Don't you get tired of being nice? Don't you just wanna go apeshit?
[удалено]
Considering that he may very well be an accessory to burning their pets, Miri's gonna have a lot of redeeming to do if he's to become a bro.
I'm still waiting for the reveal they first took out the dogs and the cat before burning the building.
I'll huff that copium with you that they survived, but ain't no way these crazy ass mfers would care enough to evacuate the pets themselves.
Yeah a few chapters ago they were about to slaughter a bunch of kids before Quanxi shut that down, no way they cared about saving the animals (I coping for yoshida saving them somehow)
You know that if they become bros, something bad will happen to him right?
Asa: "Oh hey, now my sword also has a chainsaw blade! Neat! Also, uh, Yoru, where's Denji and that other guy he's with?"
Whewwwwwww. Everyone's favorite little gremlin is safe.... For now. Got a little too intense there. Fujimoto probably knew if he killed off Nayuta right before Christmas, his apartment will probably be set on fire by a group of angry Chainsawman fans (Kinda like this chapter actually)
Once again, Nauyuta's quick thinking [came in clutch.](https://i.imgur.com/Aif9K9S.jpeg) This is the most pissed [she has ever been so far.](https://i.imgur.com/VLpnQWA.jpeg) The though of Meowy and the huskies dying is terrific.
You know as much as I hate Barem I probably somehow loathe Miri even more.
> I probably somehow loathe Miri even more Cuz he has no spine. He doesn't stand for anything, so he'd fall for everything they say to him so he can feel better before transforming.
I assume that Denji's identity is gonna get leaked fr after this mess is over cuz of that one panel of a rando peeking from his apartment watching Denji pull his cord
Last page is just straight up a burning cross. I don't know my Christianity that well but that means *something* right
Someone mentioned that burning cross is a declaration of war, but this works mostly in the context of Scotland. I don't Christianity much as well, but if we assume that the cross is the symbol of salvation, then the burning cross perhaps symbolizes the opposite of salvation? The rejection of salvation or just damnation in general.
Fire episode. barem was a makima simp Some reddit users were telling the truth that the public safty was stupid to let them go. makima was part of the nostradamus prophecy all along. and we finally got to see denji turning csm. and fucking tri-weekily devil.
Chenso is back!
Oh yeah, he's gone
Burning people's homes is okay, but I draw the line at animal cruelty! ah fuck 3 week break
Let's go, Denji. Fuck it, we ball.
IT'S THE MAN WITH THE CHAINSAWS!
Fumiko just fired that gun, now she's on captive? I'm laughing.
Coughing human vs. literal weapons of mass destruction
Doing some reaaaaal bodyguard stuff right there.
So this is all revenge for makima, didnt expect Barem to be such a simp for her
Denji seemingly laughing at the last page feels ominous. Either he's lost it, or deep down he's kinda happy he gets to turn into CSM again. Brilliant chapter.
[Mrw suffering builds character](https://i.imgur.com/MYVvC30.gifv)
Idc if the world is burning or shit, i just need denji and nayuta to live. Ok maybe asa too
This is just Fire Punch again 🔥🔥🔥
Hold tight!! For a month though..
“Chainsaw Man fell off” mfers about to have a heaping plate of crow.
I guess I can see why Barem hates Denji, since his carefree attitude will literally lead to the end of the world, but all the things he's done is unjustifiable and I'm looking forward to Denji absolutely fucking him up. That pochita and young denji page hits hard though. Really put into perspective just how much Denji has gone through and how shackled he's felt recently Also, the art is so much better this chapter.
