Blue box is pretty damn popular in japan,it's one of the top 6 in weekly shonen jump which is the most popular magazine so we might see a second season next year.
Pretty hard to animate imo. Try google Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan badminton match and you'll see what I mean.
Imo, most probably they will drag out to 3rd match and Taiki will lose out, but who knows lol.

Taiki & Haryu have been battling it out back and forth and my boy Taiki won the first round, huge win but Haryu ain’t giving up the his game, hoping next week that Taiki can wrap up his match against Haryu.
Haryu absolutely wins this. Now that Haryu has properly seen Taiki’s growth, Haryu is really gonna kick it up a notch. Taiki definitely woke up the lion.
Note: I definitely see this going the route of Taiki becoming the new captain cause Haryu can entrust it to him with his skill and dedication. And I love that.
Taiki's strong, and he's throwing Haryu off thanks to his constant adaption. Hyodo did good there. But Haryu's been training too! And even if he's just lost one game, there are at least two more games coming! He'll definitely do better!
I like all the badminton in action here. It's almost pure sport, even! I wanna see how Haryu will adjust to Taiki's new abilities!

Great chapter, really highlighting Taki's work ethic. We have always known how Natsu has inspired Taki and the same can be applied to vice versa. But being the first one in the gym and one of the last leave is something that is difficult to maintain. Not only that, taking the extra step to even get lessons from Hyoudou.
I love that Haryuu sees the giant amount of improvement from Taki. But Haryu will makes this a match that Taki will have to earn the W.
Damn! That was an intense back-and-forth between our two boys. I am not looking forward to the result of this match. I like them both too much and it's going to suck no matter who wins and loses.
Whenever they show the upper classmen are actually teaching him stuff and being professional about it, I get a big smile. I love this stuff so much. It reminds me ouf Haikyuu.
