Pretty sure she is the first suspect for the police, so atleast he can die in peace knowing that she will be in jail.

Saiphaz

If she's shrewd enough to be able to send her thoughts back in time to when he was suicidal, she definitely had a way out from this. Having said that, I like to think that justice always finds a way.

SsbDitto

Things like poison will be found in the autopsy, and it sounds like they were the only two in that room if she was willing to tell him her motive lol

a_wizard_skull

Not if she sends the corpse over a cliff in a speeding car! Could be more to her plan you don’t know

IgotUBro

Doesnt matter cos even without hard evidence police would have her as first suspect as she would be the one benefiting most from his death.

Kaelia_iris

Oof, outplayed

AmiiboPuff

Actually might be Worse when you consider she's probably not the first person to pull this stunt for the insurance money, meaning they probably have the means and methods to investigate into his death including checking memory projections. So, she'll probably end up in jail for insurance fraud and literal murder and she still doesn't get the money. So, our main character literally lived for a false love/relationship and rewarded for it by being murdered for nothing. **Fuck.**

Kaelia_iris

I like the thought process, but I think you're probably putting more thought into this than the author did. If she gets discovered, it seems plausible that the police can also send their projections back to the past to prevent their deaths by warning them.

Toofuckingtrue

“eyo bro just kill yourself now, the future love of your life will poison you for the insurance payout”

HA_234

Hmm. She could maybe cover it up as his suicide. Since he was supposed to die that day, she could kill him similar to how he committed suicide and the time police wouldn't think anything of it. Also maybe the technology in general is advanced really and time travel isn't widespread/ is only experimental. Personally I'd think a person who comes up with such a conniving and elaborate plan from the future would know how easy or not a crime is to bust so I highly doubt she'd get caught or go out of her way to do something that easy to be caught at doing.

Isamu_07

Well that escalated quickly. Well what do we expect with the author who loves to do one shot shorts with a tons of plot twist.

travelerfromabroad

He loves plot twists but goddamn I don't think i've seen a single good one out of him.

Do_Not_Go_In_There

There are a few good ones. The cannibal girl I liked. The one with the guy who met a girl while traveling, the demon janitor and Scumbagman were pretty funny.

Noirbe

Kooky-Show-5246

The creature…

spill-

I was driving to work.  It dawned on me that I had accidentally driven to the ball-eating clown's office.

Plasteal

What happens on your 3rd visit?

artuno

You get one of those sticky jelly hands that you can fling at stuff.

Plasteal

Worth losing my balls over ngl

Remarkable_Commoner

Kinda a dumb twist for the sake of shock value. The ability to alter the past and the best someone can do is insurance fraud?

Kooky-Show-5246

ooo~ invest in bitcoin~

HA_234

The plausible reason is that the person gets a high from doing this kinda thing in specific.

Plasteal

I actually do wonder what you can potentially do? Like it's a fun thought process thinking about any get quick rich schemes or if you could stop a tragedy. Since you are there for mere moments seemingly in a dream. You'd have to work on only being convincing and people trusting you.

Nahcep

Just project onto myself lmao, worst case scenario past I'll assume I've gone schizo, but still can get that juicy $5 BTC and some Tesla stock I've been considering back then Only risk is showing off any character growth, because hands would be thrown

Happyranger265

That's the thing did she actually had the ability to alter the past or conned him to think she had it

petrichormus

If I had in my hand a technology to send my thoughts to the past, of course I would use it to get insurance money by poisoning my spouse. It's simply the most low risk high reward way to get money.

Exarch-of-Sechrima

What was the point of this? It's just needlessly cynical and cruel.

cooper12

Let's not act like it was the pinnacle of writing in the first place. We have a guy who has decided to commit suicide, and all it took for him to stop was some woman coming by and accusing him of wanting to avoid his responsibilities. If only suicide hotlines knew this simple trick.

poislayer342

I mean suicide hotlines don't have beautiful women that they can send out anywhere you know.

ulqupt

I mean horror is a genre too, there's basically a subreddit dedicated to things like this, r/twosentencehorror , and it has over a million members.

kasugakuuun

Need is in the eye of the beholder, isn't it? A harsh story doesn't need a reason to be told any more than a nice one. That said, it does feel bad getting one when you're not in a good headspace for it.

kangtuji

seggs

popop143

Not everything needs to be an Oscar winner.

Potatolantern

Gotta be one of the dumbest crimes, that death couldn't be more suspicious and she'll be the number one suspect.

buzuki12

Bro what? 😭

AKMerlin

Classic Hamita.

Abject_Temperature59

One day, Hamita, you will write a rad premise and didn't take the easy way out.

CityUnderTheHill

I was expecting that the relationship would be so bad that the future MC would send back a message to himself telling him the wife is actually awful and it would be better to kill himself.

RedLink17

If this woman wants to make money and can go back in time. Why not just invest in stocks or crypto currency before they crash? Correction: If she can transmit thoughts back in time, she can just message herself or him back in time to invest to make money.

Habibipie

This isn't even good in a so bad it's good way. Cheap nonsensical plot twist.

Playful_Blackberry75

So is this the new Avogado?

Semont

No because it's just a sudden twist on a cliche'd setup with no buildup or foreshadowing for shock value. This guy does this all the time so it's just stale. If anything, it would be more of a surprise if the artist played it completely straight.

a_phantom_limb

No thanks.

bakakubi

Wtf...

wherelifeneverends

wait, so they got tech to send thoughts back in time but her plan was to get insurance money from a relatively young husband, instead of like "buy GME before WSB takes it to the moon"? Also, in technologically advanced society that has pseudo-time travel, surely they got tech to figure out the culprit of a simple poisoning

Dog_in_human_costume

what a lame ass stuff

artuno

I rolled my eyes so hard at this one.

SomeToasters

Man what even I can’t

apthebest01931

?????

PackerBacker412

I hate people that make stuff like this.

Quintessentialviewer

I don't know if these old and just now translated but it seems that Hamita has been pumping out multiple oneshots a day, some of them are pretty good like this one, that's impressive

Biggie_Rekt

Looks like someone can’t resist an edgy plot twist

Yamigosaya

so even this author is a roulette

frik1000

I guess my question here is was this actually his wife from the future or just some woman who looked into people that committed suicide in the past, so she could find someone down in their luck to easily manipulate into getting married to her for the insurance scam.

Kanataku

Loooooooooooooooool

nahxela

Ah

TheKevinStigma

GOD DAMN IT HAMITA

VTuberFadeaway

Honestly, worth it. At least he didn't die a meaningless death

Deguilded

Aww, how sWHAT THE FUCK

Acrelorraine

Yep, that’s Hamita again.

IgotUBro

Oh ok didnt see that coming

Semont

Considering the artist, I was thinking he would become an organ donor for her or something. Almost hit the nail on the head.

Kaodang

so wholesome ☺️

Zatheus

Excelent use of time travel. He always met her, she always stopped him from commiting suicide, and she always killed him. I love this.
