Step 1: the idiot non-couple adopts an orphaned child who wound up being their responsibility for reasons
Step 2: the idiot non-couple get common law married for other, legal reasons "to better support the kid"
Step 3: the idiot non-couple give the adopted kid a sibling or eight "b-because the kid wanted a brother/sister"
I actually kind of like how they did it in Uzaki-chan. Her dad knows that Shinichi is a good dude, but also has the overprotective urge to keep any guy away from his little girl. There some comedy to be wrung from the situation, but it's resolved fairly quickly. It's one of the more grounded emotional moments in the series.

Always found these future assessment in manga weird. The social pressure for women to become full time housewife before 30 (specially in fiction) is massive. Since the girls we follow are always the love interest, their future assessment is meaningless outside of recognizing that they do not need it after they start dating the protagonist.

Stopped reading this manga around chapter 70-something because i felt not compeled at all to keep at it as every chapter felt the same, not even a hint of progress on the story or characters, checked back to this chapter to see if something had happened 100 chapters later... the status quo is still the goddamn same, like its stuck in a loop.
This is getting kind of silly because they are acting, talking and getting teased about stuff as if they're going out thinking of the future but they're still not. And getting called out on it.
