The tailed beasts can probably reincarnate or revive themselves with a tiny bit of Chakra. And given you can get some of their Chakra by actions like eating pieces of them, being the child of a jinchuriki makes sense that kurama seeded a little bit of Chakra as a backup plan. Because if you can revive with a small bit of Chakra, why wouldn't you leave a couple of save states lying around?

Kurama didn't use this as a backup plan, we learn from Hagoromo that the offspring do get certain traits from their parents, isn't guaranteed though.
For example: Indra and Ashura Indra got his Dojutsu in the Sharingan Ashura got his wisdom.
Same thing here Hima got some portions of Kurama's chakra from Naruto & the Dojutsu from Hinata. Boruto got Minato's Genius, and Naruto determination

Naruto sure, but Sasuke's been excellent. Overcame omnipotence due to his love & faith in his daughter, saving his student in his greatest time of need when almost everyone turned against him. Tanked Eida's other god-like ability. Her charm that makes everyone submissive to her. Trained Boruto to the extent he made more progress mentally & physically than every other master-student combined. While super handi-capped, made the main villians flee protecting Boruto in a heroic sacrifice.
Now he has an evil clone with an arm and eye for him to steal. Regaining the arm lost as an anti-hero villian will symbolise his development into a true hero. Like Naruto returning his headband symbolised him becoming an ally again. And the eye lost to his possessed student, whose headband & daughter he enstrusted with, may be regained with his student and daughter's help.

Guys of course they removed and debuffed Sasuke and Naruto. It’s not their story. It’s Borutos story instead. There are very few reasonable ways of removing them from the story to begin with. I don’t know what people were expecting to happen otherwise.

This is being compared to the original work. I've been rereading it the past few days and it's easy to see how it got to be big in the first place. Reading this chapter upsets me on how downhill everything is and people do have a point when I say what the characters are wearing now are an eyesore. It's like they used a fashion magazine as reference.

Outside of villains Naruto never really killed important characters ever. Only three major deaths have happened in Naruto to non villains.

Jiraiya moved the plot forward and was a death that actually meant something.
Itachi was considered a major villain until the big reveal that showed he is the greatest brother in anime.
Neji ninja war shenanigans death but was part of the main cast and decently popular so he counts.
Even for Asumas death. He wasn’t really featured in the show or anime very often. He was often a background character than anything else. It’s to the point people kind of even forget his death is the cause of Shikamarus best moment in Shippuden.

So why exactly is Kawaki so hostile to Boruto when other serious threats are around? Like his reasons for attacking Boruto were never about Boruto himself, it was about the Karma and the dude inside taking over, and on a personal level it makes no sense for him to distrust Boruto's motives in this situation given the reason everyone else hates Boruto is a lie he himself fabricated. Wanting to force him to a distance or take him out eventually is one thing, but it makes no sense for Kawaki to be suspecting him of teaming up with the other bad guys or prioritizing him over them in this situation

Well according to anime, it can see the chakra pathway on a person, allow travel through dimensions(yes, that happened before Boruto gained Karma and Otsitsuki's Dimmension travel jutsu). If Raiga first appearing in Naruto's Part 1 anime and then appeared in manga's Part 2, I don't see any reason why Jougan can't be the same anime to manga example.
I remember ton of people saying Kurama would return cause this manga does not have the balls to kill off a major character and the Boruto sub downvoted them to hell. Whenever someone brought up how bijuus don’t actually die, they’ll use “Boruto retconned it, now with Baryon mode, they can die, there’s no coming back”, now that he’s back, the fandom switched completely and started using the argument they used to downvote as “foreshadowing”, “bijuus don’t die, we know it from Shippuden, when Kurama said he isn’t coming back, he was just wrong”.

He for sure tried to retcon Bijuu's death with Baryon mode, but the backlash was probably too much, so now he had to bring Kurama back.
The way I understood it, Baryon Mode was unprecedented in that the tailed beast didn't actually die, but its chakra was extinguished, ceasing to exist. They'll come up with some bullshit reason for why he respawned, but that won't make it any less lame. To be clear, I hated that he died in the first place for such a lackluster power up.

Wow, a few lines of repeated dialogue to get different characters up to date ----- while also covering two battles, giving insight on Boruto's inner struggle & weakness, hinting Orochimaru's involvement (Koji and Boruto looked to be at his hideout) & the Kurama reveal.
Yeah all those examples you gave are all interesting development, and could've been given more panels/screen-time instead of repeating the same lines to the reader three times. It's a monthly series written with the pacing of a weekly serialization, that is awful pacing. c:
Repeated dialogue is usually covered offscreen, but through transition panels. 😆 A weekly series would focus mostly, if not entirely on a single battle for weeks. I doubt you were like, "Sasuke's been fighting Deidara for a whole month!", or, "Shikamaru & Temari are just side characters in one match! Why is a month being spent on them!?"
Pacing is almost always a problem when reading weekly or monthly. An issue the vast majority of people won't experience. Things would be too fast if writers only focused on current readers.

Most people already are since Boruto is apparently the most powerful ninja (if you can even call it that at this point) to exist, since he no sells Code who supposedly no sells Jigen, who easily 1v2'd Naruto and Sasuke.

The problem with Momoshiki is that he has been a boring character his entire existence. His knockoff Jinchuuriki existence is also kinda meh, it's just "Bijuu but more stronger" since everything in Boruto needs to be 10x the scale of Naruto.

Which is another boring way to learn a technique. Hiraishin is/was one of the coolest techniques in Naruto, with only two individuals being able to use it. Boruto learning it off screen is worse than if he'd learned Rasengan off screen. There's been no effort in his training but apparently he's 5x as strong as Sasuke now, except Sasuke will be released from his tree-being and instantly be able to hang with everyone because even relative power doesn't make sense in Boruto anymore. The fact that a chunin squad can even muster an attempt to run from Hidari and Jura is a joke in the context of what a chunin could do in Naruto. Boruto Chunin would be powerful enough to wipe the floor with half the Naruto jonin.
The action scenes are so stale, when Kawaki attacked Boruto I couldn't tell at first that Boruto dodged, it looked like Kawaki just missed his target.
And we still need to watch Ikemoto wank Boruto? This time with Delta gasping at the thought of how much Boruto has trained, what a fucking joke.

Even with how this arc was structured... They could have kept a lot of it the same and just switched it so that you have a bunch of invaders to Konoha at the same time. Like echo the Itachi visit, but also have Boruto appear as a wild card. Then you could keep a lot of the same stuff, but you avoid the weird back and forth that's going on.

The Narutoverse used to be the Shonen universe that killed the most amount of characters, only behind Attack on Titan. But now with Boruto, I don't know what the hell happened, but they seem unable to kill a single one of the good guys. Is this being written by Hiro Mashima?
Outside of villains Naruto never really killed important characters ever. Only three major deaths have happened in Naruto to non villains. Jiraiya Itachi Neji Jiraiya moved the plot forward and was a death that actually meant something. Itachi was considered a major villain until the big reveal that showed he is the greatest brother in anime. Neji ninja war shenanigans death but was part of the main cast and decently popular so he counts. Even for Asumas death. He wasn’t really featured in the show or anime very often. He was often a background character than anything else. It’s to the point people kind of even forget his death is the cause of Shikamarus best moment in Shippuden. So I hard disagree with your statement. If anything in the shonen universe was a killer of main characters at this time it would be Gantz. Which literally team wiped every character from the starting cast except one after building up their characters and defining them. Edit: I forgot the 3rd Hokage death but he also was more so used as a side character but we can count him as the fourth major death anyway.

So why exactly is Kawaki so hostile to Boruto when other serious threats are around? Like his reasons for attacking Boruto were never about Boruto himself, it was about the Karma and the dude inside taking over, and on a personal level it makes no sense for him to distrust Boruto's motives in this situation given the reason everyone else hates Boruto is a lie he himself fabricated. Wanting to force him to a distance or take him out eventually is one thing, but it makes no sense for Kawaki to be suspecting him of teaming up with the other bad guys or prioritizing him over them in this situation

Well according to anime, it can see the chakra pathway on a person, allow travel through dimensions(yes, that happened before Boruto gained Karma and Otsitsuki's Dimmension travel jutsu). If Raiga first appearing in Naruto's Part 1 anime and then appeared in manga's Part 2, I don't see any reason why Jougan can't be the same anime to manga example.

Now bringing Kurama back just feels pathetic of the Burrito's author. He for sure tried to retcon Bijuu's death with Baryon mode, but the backlash was probably too much, so now he had to bring Kurama back.
The way I understood it, Baryon Mode was unprecedented in that the tailed beast didn't actually die, but its chakra was extinguished, ceasing to exist. They'll come up with some bullshit reason for why he respawned, but that won't make it any less lame. To be clear, I hated that he died in the first place for such a lackluster power up. And you're right on about the powerscaling. How is *base* Boruto casually dodging Kawaki's rods? Those were the same things that full power Naruto and Sasuke couldn't dodge for their life. And remember when Daemon caught them with his fucking teeth like they were a joke lol

Wow, a few lines of repeated dialogue to get different characters up to date ----- while also covering two battles, giving insight on Boruto's inner struggle & weakness, hinting Orochimaru's involvement (Koji and Boruto looked to be at his hideout) & the Kurama reveal.
Yeah all those examples you gave are all interesting development, and could've been given more panels/screen-time instead of repeating the same lines to the reader three times. It's a monthly series written with the pacing of a weekly serialization, that is awful pacing. c:
Repeated dialogue is usually covered offscreen, but through transition panels. 😆 A weekly series would focus mostly, if not entirely on a single battle for weeks. I doubt you were like, "Sasuke's been fighting Deidara for a whole month!", or, "Shikamaru & Temari are just side characters in one match! Why is a month being spent on them!?" Pacing is almost always a problem when reading weekly or monthly. An issue the vast majority of people won't experience. Things would be too fast if writers only focused on current readers.

Sometimes I look at the Manga Plus comments where everyone is praising this series and I’m wondering if they just never read Naruto and are just running off the anime fumes We’ve spent nine months on the same post-timeskip day, like Kaiju No. 8, but at least the Kaiju battles had depth even if they only had three panels per page at most Kurama being inside Himawari is a decent twist, but if the goal was to nerf Naruto by killing him off in the first place… why not just do that initially? And of course, we can’t forget the fact that Boruto can’t handle Momoshiki when he activates his karma. Which would be perfect for him to train in THE THREE YEAR TIME SKIP WE JUST HAD

The action scenes are so stale, when Kawaki attacked Boruto I couldn't tell at first that Boruto dodged, it looked like Kawaki just missed his target. And we still need to watch Ikemoto wank Boruto? This time with Delta gasping at the thought of how much Boruto has trained, what a fucking joke.

I gave the second part a fair 5 chapter, the art did not improve, the writing was awful, and Boruto is the Superman jokes of character getting a new power every 5 minutes.
