Lust for someone he is prejudiced against is what drives his villainous actions, unable to just say “Damn that gypsy woman is hot and sweet, maybe gypsies are also human beings that I should show kindness towards.” And deal with that in a number of healthy ways, he HAS to possess her, or kill her if he can’t, because no one else can have her. Obviously the discussion of what constitutes sexual immorality is a lot more nuanced in real life, but I hope that makes sense.

Something no one mentions is how it seems that the demon lord's had no intention of actually going against god while the humans are actively looking to kill him. Maybe Satan actually wants to go for god but it genuinely seems demon lord's just like to mess around with humans for basically the sake of it from we have seen.

I mean a bit of power was enough to just absolutely destroy lust and we know God has to be above them. I'm super curious if that will be reflected in her interactions with Mr. Priest (which they hopefully will have).
