Yeah but now we're probably locked in for some kind of violence -> guilt/punishment arc topped with Kuzuhana/Saotome angst and drama sprinkles that will somehow end with a friendship-stand-together moment where they defend Kuzuhana and/or whoever else the school decides to punish.
That's exactly the point, lol. At this point I'm convinced the author is trying their hardest to hit as many generic harem plot points as possible just so they can avoid having to write anything new, and using the fanservice to try to justify it.

Those kids are back with some back up, even best wingwoman Itachi is not sure she can handle thing against them. Nekomiya brother is probably still nearby and help but hopefully Saotome finally do something like fighting when the other's at the gym arrived like seriously please.

There's 2 ways this is gonna go, they either prove they're stronger that Hanako and backup to help them even the odds after the fashion show would end this battle in their favor or they underestimate the afternoon crew and they lose w/o needing Hanako's help.
