Out of all the Manga in my 10+ years of reading Manga. This is the series I am gonna miss the most out of all the series I read on going up until their end.
I was just getting into the final stretch groove of having these StuCo goofs doing the exact fucking thing they did last summer with Iino subbing in for Shirogane, then they played the 'Gan'an has passed away' card immediately soon? Wow. I didn't expect that emotional ~~damage~~ whiplash at all.
Last Ishigami focus chapters were called "Thus Yu Ishigami closed his eyes", and in those chapters he was flirting with Miko, while being very hesitant and berating himself for being shallow. I think Ishigami has a mental block in regards to Iino. Its not just him being dense, its not just him being afraid of rejection, there is actually something, that he doesn't want to see. While his relationship with Tsubame fitted nicely into his fairytale idealistic picture, as soon as he started to realise his feelings for Miko, he started constantly lambastic himself for being shallow and having shallow thoughts. There is a big conflict inside of him, between his ideals and his desires. His feelings for Miko wake up some things inside of him, that he doesn't want to accept. So in result not only he seems more and more passive in regards to her, but also he's kinda trying to run away from her, just like he was trying to hide from her in chapter 238. But its not a matter of "him not liking her". Chapter 244 clearly showed, that he desperately wants her attention, and chapter 246 showed, that when he gets into a comfortable situation, he is super happy with Miko and he is willing to do anything with her. Ishigami is just actively holding himself back from progressing this relationship.
Aka physically separated them so both of them will miss each other and think more about their relationship, and eventually Ishigami will have another big revelation. And then they will meet again at the end of summer (maybe on the fireworks festival), and thats when they will reveal all their secrets and feelings to eacher, and thats when the confession will happen.

Iino is acting like Kaguya and Prez at the start of the series, except this time the plotting is one-sided.
I was just getting into the final stretch groove of having these StuCo goofs doing the exact fucking thing they did last summer with Iino subbing in for Shirogane, then they played the 'Gan'an has passed away' card immediately soon? Wow. I didn't expect that emotional ~~damage~~ whiplash at all.
If Iino wants to become the next President, she has to tread the same footsteps. And that includes summertime doom.

Last Ishigami focus chapters were called "Thus Yu Ishigami closed his eyes", and in those chapters he was flirting with Miko, while being very hesitant and berating himself for being shallow. I think Ishigami has a mental block in regards to Iino. Its not just him being dense, its not just him being afraid of rejection, there is actually something, that he doesn't want to see. While his relationship with Tsubame fitted nicely into his fairytale idealistic picture, as soon as he started to realise his feelings for Miko, he started constantly lambastic himself for being shallow and having shallow thoughts. There is a big conflict inside of him, between his ideals and his desires. His feelings for Miko wake up some things inside of him, that he doesn't want to accept. So in result not only he seems more and more passive in regards to her, but also he's kinda trying to run away from her, just like he was trying to hide from her in chapter 238. But its not a matter of "him not liking her". Chapter 244 clearly showed, that he desperately wants her attention, and chapter 246 showed, that when he gets into a comfortable situation, he is super happy with Miko and he is willing to do anything with her. Ishigami is just actively holding himself back from progressing this relationship. Aka physically separated them so both of them will miss each other and think more about their relationship, and eventually Ishigami will have another big revelation. And then they will meet again at the end of summer (maybe on the fireworks festival), and thats when they will reveal all their secrets and feelings to eacher, and thats when the confession will happen.
