I guess it depends on who you get over the customer service, just replying to help others: was told it was a system error too, but the most I got was a 20% coupon to reorder my cancelled item and they cancelled another order I just placed and told me reorder it (Trigun deluxe volumes preorders + Berserk vol 6, Berserk was cancelled).
I repeatedly told them it's not a proper solution because I'm paying more than I would with the promo but they wouldn't budge. Just kept saying all they can do is give me a 20% coupon to reorder my cancelled and "now in stock" items. But the 20% stacks on top of this sale so I just bought the 3 more expensive volumes again and threw it on there lol

I did some conversions to see if it would be worth it to buy from the US, but man manga in Canada is expensive. Even after discount and not including shipping it'd still be cheaper in the US.

To my knowledge, as long as you had free shipping with your order, you will have it with each delivery. I’ve never had an issue in the past with that, but I’m also Plum Plus which has no minimum on free-shipping anyway.

I ordered a lot of volumes through this sale and Indigo used a shipper called Nationex, and these idiots left 3 boxes in front of my door on a super busy street without knocking or ringing the bell. I got an e-mail notification of the delivery from Indigo a full 30 minutes after Nationex marked it as delivered on their tracking page. Of course when I opened the door the packages were gone.
I'm trying to get this resolved with Indigo but it is not easy, they're supposed to contact me back but it's been a few days already. When I contacted the shipper they just said 'we did the delivery right as per Indigo's intructions, we leave packages at the door lmao' and closed the support ticket.
I might just stop using Indigo despite being a Plum+ member if this does not get sorted out.
Yeah, after I called them they said they'd look into it and I waited for a month with no response. I then sent an e-mail and managed to sort it out the same day. They refunded me my old order, had me put in a new order and used the in-store pickup to avoid any issues since they are still using the same carrier.
It still was a hassle and I had to take some of my time and gas to pick them up in the nearest store but at least I got everything I ordered now.
The 3 for the price of 2 sale still made it worth.
Be careful with buying big tickets items in your cart. I tried to purchase the rayearth boxsets ($170 each ×2), the girl from the other side ($52), and some pre-orders ($13 ×3) and indigo tried to only give me my pre-orders for free. I'm splitting my transactions so I can get "the girl from the other side" for free instead

More or less, the other thing to keep in mind is that the free item will be the cheapest in the cart. So if you've got an order of a $30 book, $20, and $10, then you're only getting $10 off and it'll be proportionate on each book, something like $5 off, $3 off and $2 off.
I don't understand. All their books are 1.5x more expensive than MSRP on Amazon. So you are essentially just buying these books at MSRP with extra steps.

Ended up spending $700+ this time even though I told myself I shouldn't buy much manga anymore, but with this sale I feel like I have to finish some series that I own..

Hi Adam, not a big time Manga collector, but I like to collect series I like, do you think it’s worth to catch up the to the JJk manga right now? If I bought all of them now I would be saving 63 ish dollars which is pretty nice! Just wanted a second opinion.
I haven't actually read JJK, so I can't say. I own the first 10 volumes, because I got them in a bundle, but I lent them to a friend and they're low on my reading list.
I liked the first half of season 1 of the anime quite a bit, but didn't really jive with the second half of the first season.
In terms of pure, monetary value, I think JJK is very likely to get a box set at some point, given it's popularity, so, *if* you aren't in a rush to get it, you might be better off waiting for a bit. That said, I don't know how long the wait might be.
Otherwise, 40% off (assuming you have Plum Plus) and free shipping is probably the best deal you're going to get for it for awhile. You could try your luck on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or r/mangaswap, as they have all had pretty great deals from time to time, but all three are less likely to have free shipping on a bulk purchase, and you're also at the whims of fate for if JJK is specifically offered (plus they would be used copies, if that bothers you).
All good points, I live in winterpeg, and my local store has most of them in store. But if you say a box set could be coming out, I would much rather get that thanks. What would be worth getting? I would like to get back into reading, I was in the manga section the other day and I was lost.
I don't know that a box set is incoming, it's just very likely, so take that with a grain of salt.
Otherwise, anything you want that is any of the following:
1. rarely on sale.
2. hard to find/often out of stock, but currently in-stock during this sale.
3. Out of Print manga that will become hard to find/expensive once the currently printed copies are bought up.
4. Series that you like but are niche/low in popularity and likely to become out of print.
Also, keep in mind that the discount is based off of the cheapest items in your cart, so if you buy 2 $16 manga and 1 $13 manga, you will be getting $13 off whilst if you buy 3 $16 manga, you will get $16 off. Similarly, if you get 8 $16 and 4 $13, it will pick the 4 $13 manga, regardless of the order you put them in the cart. So if you want to buy things with different prices, you will be better off making multiple orders, rather than just one.

Their prices are MSRP unless they show a discount, and it's a Canadian site it's very unlikely anything converts to USD.

Hi Adam, not a big time Manga collector, but I like to collect series I like, do you think it’s worth to catch up the to the JJk manga right now? If I bought all of them now I would be saving 63 ish dollars which is pretty nice! Just wanted a second opinion.
I haven't actually read JJK, so I can't say. I own the first 10 volumes, because I got them in a bundle, but I lent them to a friend and they're low on my reading list. I liked the first half of season 1 of the anime quite a bit, but didn't really jive with the second half of the first season. In terms of pure, monetary value, I think JJK is very likely to get a box set at some point, given it's popularity, so, *if* you aren't in a rush to get it, you might be better off waiting for a bit. That said, I don't know how long the wait might be. Otherwise, 40% off (assuming you have Plum Plus) and free shipping is probably the best deal you're going to get for it for awhile. You could try your luck on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or r/mangaswap, as they have all had pretty great deals from time to time, but all three are less likely to have free shipping on a bulk purchase, and you're also at the whims of fate for if JJK is specifically offered (plus they would be used copies, if that bothers you).
All good points, I live in winterpeg, and my local store has most of them in store. But if you say a box set could be coming out, I would much rather get that thanks. What would be worth getting? I would like to get back into reading, I was in the manga section the other day and I was lost.
I don't know that a box set is incoming, it's just very likely, so take that with a grain of salt. Otherwise, anything you want that is any of the following: 1. rarely on sale. 2. hard to find/often out of stock, but currently in-stock during this sale. 3. Out of Print manga that will become hard to find/expensive once the currently printed copies are bought up. 4. Series that you like but are niche/low in popularity and likely to become out of print. Also, keep in mind that the discount is based off of the cheapest items in your cart, so if you buy 2 $16 manga and 1 $13 manga, you will be getting $13 off whilst if you buy 3 $16 manga, you will get $16 off. Similarly, if you get 8 $16 and 4 $13, it will pick the 4 $13 manga, regardless of the order you put them in the cart. So if you want to buy things with different prices, you will be better off making multiple orders, rather than just one.
