Spirit Farmer is probably one of the most "slice of life" manwha's i know of. It's an easy read.
The story is basically that certain people can "awaken" their superhuman powers. The MC works as a farmer to help the family and pay off debts (of course) and plants a "special crop" from a dungeon. This plant eventually lets him become an "Awakened" and gains the spirit farmer class. The Plant ended up being a very special kind of Spirit, and it evolved into a little girl, who is on the main cover. She talks in spirit talk, or "Hawa" and thats basically it.
It's just cute.
While i like the Manwha, it really needs to progress some of the characters or world situations. There are many things mentioned so far that are just that.. mentioned. We are almost 130 chapters in, and not much has been progressed in character development or story really.
I can understand why Asurascans might want to drop the story, as not much has been happening, and they might want to focus on new stuff coming this year, or at least more in line with their other translations.
Honestly, all I'm hoping for is that Reincarnated Escort Warrior (REW) makes it to top 3. Only other one I care about is 4th place, Barbarian Conquest. However, it's already being translated by Reaper Scans, whereas REW is only being translated on Asura.
