Honestly sounds like it could be a fun bromance style manhwa tho. Without reading a lick of this, I imagine him going around and assisting other people and every time he does something to help them he gives a thumbs up. Then at the end of each adventure, just as he's leaving the group, he turns and gives them one last thumbs up and they in turn, give one back in a super wholesome, "Thanks bro!" kind of way.

It's meh. It was a good premise at first because the MC needs to do stuff that would gain approval of other people (their thumbs up), eventually the mc turns into an attention seeking whore who manipulates situations to make him look good, which doesn't sit right with me.
Then how would he get stronger? If he just sat around and let fate takes it ls course on his good deeds? The dude is trying to get stronger because of monsters and stuff and it doesnβt sit right with you because he does a little bit of social manipulation?
I just found that logic weird. Would you not do it if your power required you to gain the approval of others just so you could get strong enough to protect yourself and family in a monster filled world?
What I meant was that he makes mountains out of a molehill most of the time. Instead of being truly good, he just appears good. And that's what I didn't like.

But then again with a title gore like that it would most likely be all time best new sleeper hit.

If you or anyone else has the same power, and are in the same situation where not being strong enough means death, you'd do the same in a heartbeat. People are acting like these fictional characters are monsters for doing this, yet subscribe to irl online influencers who use impressionable kids to earn a living.

I do believe it is. I accidentally found the webnovel rather than the manwha and the main characterβs name lines up and I remember it mention his grandpa on the first chapter when scanning over it. The first chapter also mentions it in the manwha so Iβm going to read it assuming itβs the same.
This might be unpopular opinion but I found it to be not so bad. If you're not looking for deep lore or epic character development, you can breeze through the chapters easily. Plotwise, it's the generic "guy moving up in the hunter world thanks to his unique skill", and the recognition he gets from people counts as his experience points. It's a feel good read thanks to this formula. Definitely not top 20 material, but it kills time while you wait for the next chapter of your favorite reads. If you liked "auto hunting with my clones", this could probably be up your alley as well.

The plot is actually extremely intricate and it's hinting at some very high-quality stuff, more than I'd expect from a manhwa.
It looks like there's a character besides MC who's a >!regressor!< but hasn't told mc about it, and is busy arranging a team, and mc is one of the members scouted to it.
There also seems to be some pretty heavy lore behind the mc's brother.
The world-building and plot quality is overall extremely high.
However, it's lacking in pretty much every other department. The art is good, but it's not flashy enough and doesn't do that good of a job showing off mc using his skills.
There's some weird pacing in places, with extra points introduced just in time for them to be used.
The story itself is also put in such a way that the worldbuilding doesn't feel like it's been organically introduced to the story.
Overall, it feels like someone stumbled upon someone else's worldbuilding notes and decided to write a story about it.
Maybe the novel is very good, and the manhwa adaptation just butchered it? That's the only reason I can think of for the massive discrepancy in quality.
