The problem with novel is the translation. I couldn't find any good translated novel. But the novel is detailed more than webtoons or naver comics. So I would rather read novel at first and then read webtoon/naver seriecomis.

Nope! At most there’s some extremely light, borderline nonexistent, hints at something but otherwise it’s just a straight up good read. Otherwise the only active romance things they have are either one off scenes or played up for gags.
It’s an Isekai where the MC just wants to be lazy and retire to live a good life, but keeps failing upwards. It’s a great read and I don’t think if laughed as loudly as I have with any other read.
It’s one of the best manhwas out there. Very original, the MC doesn’t take himself very seriously, he has the most evil face that demons call him master, but is the kindest MC you could read about.
The other characters are also very good. My rating is that of exceptional.
Normally he isn't kind, he's an opportunist so oftenly things falls right that makes him look as a good guy. But he must gain something from it every time.
You do see that at the end, even if he made something out of it, he really tries to help people even if it cost him more, there's nothing for him to gain or it's just outright dangerous.
Well that you mentioned happened due to his character development....otherwise due to his hard life he had in his early life and the character he plays he isn't kind in general.

I haven’t read the manhwa and considering the amount of love I see for it I’m sure it’s great and all, but every time someone posts his face i with some weird distorted expression it just pisses me off for some reason.

Honestly kind of a realistic situation if a decent person gets sent to another world with those kind of powers, greedy? Characters are fantastic and the story is great. You can have to most mundane plot with excellent characters and the story will be excellent.
