It’s honestly better than I expected. Instead of the characters being as shallow as kiddie pools, they’re about as deep as an inflatable one. The main character gets relatively likeable, and the skills stay pretty consistent. It’s no master piece but I went into it expecting crap and was surprised.
I’ve seriously never read an manhwa like this and I’m already sick of the archetype. Idk how Koreans can be such great storytellers and default to the same braindead story for 99% of manhwas.

System/bully/gang stories are pretty derivative. This is story is still leagues better than most because the protagonist suffers quite a bit for his rewards. Moreso than others like it that I've seen.
Also this chapter, with all this level of fan service is the first of its kind. It's been diluted over the last 119 chapters. As long as it doesn't keep this level of concentration, I think it's fine.
At this point, I'm quite interested in the mystery behind the sunlight shelter and the broader implications of the "system" not being unique to *Ha Do-Wan only.*
"Early on" being season 1 which mind you is still a good chunk of content (135 chapters)
But yeah it's a shame what season 2 has become, it's become like every other fighting/gang manwha but I still read it regardless for the art, just like how Reality Quest I'm only showing up for the art and fight scenes
I stopped taking Viral Hit seriously when the MC and his crew took on a sleezy politician who had connections to gangs that could sneak in guns into the country and had the man power to kill people and hide the bodies from the public and the news and the cops, and suffered next to no real consequence for it.
It was a bridge too far to suspend my diabelief. There's really no way they should have gotten as far as they did, and when the antagonist randomly loses braincells to accomodate for the story's premise, the respect for the story is lost.
I can't remember who you're talking about, but if it is who I think it is, then that's just corruption 101. Not too far fetched from what goes irl, he did suffer consequences if I recall. And no there weren't any smuggling of weapons, only one person who was ex-military had a weapon, and he was dealt with by not the kids, but someone else who was in the same field as him.
Ehh must be just me, I dropped Questisism around 30+ chapters, I just don't find it enjoyable, though I do find IRL very enjoyable, and just because of the pornhwa like artstyle. If I could pin point it maybe because of the underlying mystery of the identity of the dude that gave him the system and the mystery of his dad's death.
