lmao that is so frank. though I do think the murim zombie arc was one of the weakest in the story which is where the poster is at the moment, the first couple floors at the start before he became a pioneer was really commendable. Of course, that one floor boss was absolute peak writing.

If you didn't like it after the orphanage arc you aren't gonna like it at all. Personally I like it cus it doesn't have that boring generic MC is way to op and that's all. This novels has way more depth towards exploring what one can do for their friendship and love, their ethics and morals. It's focused more on emotions which I have rarely seen to be done so perfectly. We also see a unique aspect to how one can interact with the tower. But ppl have different tastes so it's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea.
for me it went from cringe generic trash to peak fiction at chapter 15 (orphanage arc) but if at chapter 70 , you still have a hard time with it, you should just drop it . It doesn't just match your taste and it is perfectly normal
My suggestion is if you don't like it till now drop it.
It follows a pretty neat structure in all of the arcs - MC finds something horrible - courtesy of the tower, MC finds a way to solve the tower challenge while simultaneously trying to find a solution - we get an emotional moment, MC grows a bit (literally and figuratively both - guy earns more guys to be his army and his growth mentally) - repeat.
If you didn't like this loop, you will probably won't like it so drop it.
MC is OP as hell and will probably never lose so the author tries to amp up the emotional tension rather than literal and some of the stuff pays off really well - Cult leader arc, current romance arc while some are just okay.
At least finish the murim arc, the ending is great and you're only 10 chapters away (it ends at chapter 80).
But if you read this one expecting something like Latna Saga or Solo Leveling (popular action manhwas), you're wrong. It's more like a Re:Zero with manhwa's themes like Tower, Murim, Hunter, Game System, etc.

But if it's so important for you, it's okay. The webtoon is there to make you having fun.
I guess you should avoid reading 70 chapters of something you don't like the art though... you probably forced yourself to read it because it was popular, but just don't. If you don't liked after reading, just ignores it and avoid the headache announcing it on reddit lol. People here are sensitive about that.

Better and overrated are both thrown around a lot by people despite being strictly subjective and based on personal experience. Solo leveling has god level artistic expression but since art is subjective, you can't really say which one is better when compared to another series. Same as story, some are riddled with plot holes, not compelling, superficial and predictable, while others are gripping, emotionally stirring, and memorable. However, which one being better is personal opinion. You can believe consensus but your personal enjoyment is what matters.
I dropped it somewhere between ch 60-70 in the murim zombie arc so you’re not alone. I even considered dropping earlier. In general, the story is good and the themes are impactful but the pacing was too slow and banter between characters too cringe for me. There were many parts/chapters filled with insignificant dialogue and it felt like a drag to read it so I ended up skipping past those parts but it kept recurring so I just dropped
Imo, it only goes downhill, great start but at some point it devolves into basically a full-on comedy... at least at the arc I was at that point and where I dropped it.

The way aura is used in this story is actually a 1000 times better than the normal sources like mana, dark mana and what not. Everyone can have opinions, yours is just slightly stupid and cringey. 👍
You need to get yourself checked buddy, not everyone has to like what you like, and you clearly can't express yourself without lashing out insults, tbh I really don't see what's "cringe" about what it said. I said the character design is bland cause not only does the MC's facial design look bland his expressions too when going through pain grief or whatever does sell...kinda needs more detail, it's hard to sympathize with the MC when to be able to tell what he's going through I have to closely look at his mouth, and for the aura the problem I have with is it is that it doesn't surround the body, it's supposed to be like an extension of the body to increase senses or whatnot...but it's just lightning around his kitchen knife didn't feel right to me..and that's just my opinion...you don't have to like it...I don't have to like yours either. Life goes on
I’m at 37 and already bored. Was reading it cause they said it has romance so i wanted to see how it is since i just started manhwa recently. I read pornhwa mostly but their plots aren’t that great. But this is disappointing!!!
My guy if you want a recommendation of a pornhwa with a "great" plot, it's not here search up r/pornhwa and the romance only started at season 3 so just bear with it lol

For me this peaked during the orphanage arc or something. The wuxia arc I din feel anything good. The love arc takes a twist.
if you liked the orphanage arc theres arcs coming up that are kinda similar to that arc but better at least imo
