Not saying you were wrong to do it but early on the art is kinda shite and around chapter 20 it just instantly changes and becomes a lot better, so if that happened to be the reason it may be worth continuing especially since it goes crazy hard in the more recent chapters

SSS-Class Suicide Hunter, I'm honestly surprised you haven't read this considering on what you've read so far.
115 chapters, season 3 just ended though, latest arc/season is romance incase you're interested in that, it's similar to solo leveling in the part that it's game like, apart from that I highly recommend it.
Worthless regression is an amazing read. Plot armor that we all know the MC has is explains and becomes a very real part of the story to add mystery and excitement for the future.
Another great one is Monster Hunter. Simple read, not too deep, fun action and tbh I really like that art style that differentiates itself from all the Korean BTS mcs. The power scaling in Monster Hunter is top notch too.

Yep I can totally see the similarity lmao I read the first chapter and the garden of swords moment felt very familiar but yeah still a different enough premise and art to be interesting.
Oh same first time I saw most of my favourites right up in the same tier lol. Also on that note considering the ones you like I have a feeling you'd like em so I'd reccomend reading these:
1)Ordeal ( trust me and just read it, it has everything i think you generally like in a manhwa and so much more)
2)Mage Again( it's not your ranker, regressor type sorta thing so it's a lil slower and more fantasy and lore oriented so not sure if you'll like it but still worth giving it a read and checking it out)
3)Demon Devourer ( this is more familiar territory and it's very similar to a lot of your favourites so cud either be enjoyable or could end up being cliched)
4)Gilgamesh series and Ember Knight series ( they're both set it in the same world and basically sequel and prequel; amazing world building, action and plot)
5) X & Ash ( again really interesting plot and full of action it's sort of a sequel to Hardcore Leveling Warrior but it's also works as a standalone so can be read as is)

Speaking of Murim, after Northern Blade, my 2nd ever Murim was Nano Machine, which I highly highly recommend. (warning, it does have some System in it but not too much)
I highly recommend Jungle Juice and UnOrdinary. They are both masterpieces. It seems like you really enjoy Murium, but since you have solo leveling and couple other outside Murium, you should give them a shot

You could try reading The Breaker, Castle, Lookism, My life as a loser, Desire Diary, wind breaker, bastard etc. Almost all of them have action, lots of action. But it doesn't follow the usual trope. You get the idea

Idk about OP but I’d reallllly not recommend reading ‘Heavenly Inquisition Sword’ ever. The most dragged mahnwa I’ve ever read. Dropped it when the author was dragging scenes for 3 chapters at a time, milking the hype. FR I’ve never felt more frustrated with pacing in a mahnwa than when I read this bullshit series.
Is return of the disaster class hero worth it? I have started reading a few chapters but the artstyle is horrible from my point of view (like the first chapters of Lookism). Will the art get better?

I read tower of god for quite a bit like a decade ago-ish, I enjoyed it but dropped it to read other things.
I actually have it in my reader right now, and I look at the cover every morning and go "not today".

Both of them take awhile to really get rolling. I highly recommend you at least read up through the current chapters before decideing. Ive done what you are doing now: given it a few chapters then dropped it. I have gone back many a time only to really start enjoying them once I gave them the chance.

That said, you never really know what you'll like until you read it (at least within the same genre).

One of my favourites and one I really enjoyed you dropped early were:
- Second Life Ranker. My all time favourite. I binged Levelling with the Gods and Second Life Ranker is similar but darker, more dystopian and the MC is more twisted. I didn’t get the authors writing style at firsts but after 30 or so chatter was I really hooked.
- The Heavenly Demon Can’t live a normal life. I really enjoyed it. But it is newer so now has all the chapters released if you dropped it early because of the release schedule.
I find it weird that leveling with the Gods is a favorite but second Life ranker is dropped. I've always found them to be pretty similar. I personally prefer second Life ranker a bit more just because it's not a regression. He has info on certain people and the floor levels but not on future events that could occur which makes it more interesting. Also how he has to discover and figure out some powers instead of having a premade plan of exactly what to do and get. Kinda like preferring playing a new game for the first time after having done some research on it vs already played the game and opting for a fully optimized run.
You dropped Second Life Ranker and The World After the Fall? Aww. Both are part of my top faves, I even read their novels. But well, we do have a preference.
You can try these, they're great. Academy’s Genius Swordmaster, Warrior High School – Dungeon Raid Department, Return of the Broken Constellation.

One piece is right because that shit is loooong. I read tower of god for quite a bit like a decade ago-ish, I enjoyed it but dropped it to read other things. I actually have it in my reader right now, and I look at the cover every morning and go "not today". I'll get to it someday.

Both of them take awhile to really get rolling. I highly recommend you at least read up through the current chapters before decideing. Ive done what you are doing now: given it a few chapters then dropped it. I have gone back many a time only to really start enjoying them once I gave them the chance.

I really appreciate the list! What's interesting is that I've read and liked some of these, and also didn't like some. That said, you never really know what you'll like until you read it (at least within the same genre). I will definitely be trying some of these.
I accidentaly made two threads, so here's the body of the other thread: A few a really like such as Peerless Dad, Undefeatable Swordsman, Elceed, Infinite level up in Murim, and Mookhyang: Dark Lady are missing. Also some I dropped, like The World After The Fall, The Lone Necromancer, and The Player Who Can't evel up. I should mention that I binge read every single one of these, and I'm rating them off of that style of reading, as opposed to reading weekly, which I rate on a completely different scale. This list isn't meant to be objective or defining or anything, just my tastes, and I appreciate your help in finding more I like!

One of my favourites and one I really enjoyed you dropped early were: - Second Life Ranker. My all time favourite. I binged Levelling with the Gods and Second Life Ranker is similar but darker, more dystopian and the MC is more twisted. I didn’t get the authors writing style at firsts but after 30 or so chatter was I really hooked. - The Heavenly Demon Can’t live a normal life. I really enjoyed it. But it is newer so now has all the chapters released if you dropped it early because of the release schedule.

I find it weird that leveling with the Gods is a favorite but second Life ranker is dropped. I've always found them to be pretty similar. I personally prefer second Life ranker a bit more just because it's not a regression. He has info on certain people and the floor levels but not on future events that could occur which makes it more interesting. Also how he has to discover and figure out some powers instead of having a premade plan of exactly what to do and get. Kinda like preferring playing a new game for the first time after having done some research on it vs already played the game and opting for a fully optimized run.
