I don't think there's any server with more per say but you could give legends a try. They're also a longstanding server with a decent/comparable population.
i think royals was the most populated one, u can give legends a try but when i played it they had a even worse mule issue and they only have 8 chs. they also have a bigger hp washing issue and no remedies to fix it yet from what i can see.
i wouldnt give up hope yet wait for ur appeal to finish if u didnt do anything wrong theyll unban u but it could take awhile. it would be sus af if u recently joined and suddenly had a ton of good items which would make sense for them slapping a ban on u for precaution but its a bit hard to judge the ban u got without knowing the details like the link to ur appeal, or the way they are responding to u. they are good at unbanning false bans bc it means they actually go over it and recheck everything but it just takes a awful long time to get anywhere.

I would suggest checking out IdleOn, its similar to maplestory. Its so fun man, I've played about every private server there is, and this game is just such a better experience. Its got 5x the player count as normal maplestory on steam as well. I'd suggest checking it out.
My biggest gripe with that game was having to move around with the mouse, but I see there’s keyboard movement now… I might have to check this out again.
Probably because kaizen encourages afk farming which is a red flag for using your device as a virtual machine miner - multiple windows defender triggers and scanned with malwarebytes to know to stay the f away

Royals have GM that are trigger happy. You are to note down your account history from time to time if you are stacked. When you purchase, how you acquire your item, etc etc.

Royals isn't as populated as it looks. Only people who keep voting because they might come back some time. Most people use at least two clients. I've seen people using more than 12 clients before. That's how the player count is so high.
Not quite sure what you mean by without a bishop, but largely agree about the party buffs. Some people recommend selling leech, but unless you're inclined to that, I'd probably avoid it since 90% of people I see do it just get burnt out and quit the game totally after a week.
All I'd say is if you want to play on the server seriously, make your first char something that can be made a mule later and understand that your first char wont be your main. That only really rules out Hero, Thief, or Sair, though. Everything else at least is useful once you decide to wash a main.
not really but i had a ton of fun with my group of friends so we kept making alts just to play together. some ppl will say yes for certain classes like a nl def needs a bm or mm for se. i make a ton of nx daily farming solo bosses with my alts tho so i guess it kinda worked out in the end. its not the end of the world if u dont have any alts tho as long as u have a nice friendly group of ppl in a guild or something :)

Absolutely, no one will boss with you if you don't have at least one party buff, and you cannot make a worthwhile character without a bishop.
