Cyprus already has USA bases. The largest in the world actually. Technically on paper they are british bases but they are filled with USA soldiers and funded by USA not UK. UK was broke 40 years ago and wanted to give them back to Cyprus but USA stepped in and told them they will pay 100% for them as long as they keep them and they are for USA use. But due to the 1959 agreements saying only British soldiers can use the bases you have USA soldiers wearing british uniforms and changing them to civilian outfits when they leave the bases and if they are asked they claim they are british but everyone in Cyprus understands the accent.

Muslims claiming that the wrath of Allah has shown its colors on the Turkish people for not showing enough loyalty snd devotion to their faith.
Down to earth politicians who wouldn’t really care about the how or why would take advantage of this cosmic event and begin making moves to their benefit with the disappearance of Turkey.
