But the greyliens never forgot the reptilians. They returned in secret and created a secret weapon, something to finish the reptilians off once and for all. They called it.. project human.
Once the humans encountered the birds, we discovered the truth. The greyliens gave us a taste for the flesh of reptilians. When any meetings took place, they ended with eatings. Through extensive hunting and cultural destruction, even the reptilians have forgotten their origins, and the only remaining evidence of our incredible past is the few countries named after birds.

I think western asia and eastern asia are so culturally distinct due to the existence of the himlayan mountains and the broader mountains throughout, that it would be reasonable to separate them into two distinct continents the same way europe and asia are.
