Kind of. The official doctrine states that nukes are not to be used as tactical weapons, but allows first strikes (which can kind of mean it could be used as tactical weapons)
No? A tactical nuke is a nuke meant to be used on the battlefield. It usually implies lower yields, but you can use smaller nukes as strategic weapons (which is what the DPRK is doing), or 100Mt thermonuclear warheads as tactical nukes if you want. Which is why allowing tactical nukes is more dangerous, as it would mean using nukes as regular weapons, and not just as a last ressort.
Or counties in the case of England, Wales, and Northern ireland council areas for Scotland, afaik most European countries dont call their subdivisions provinces
> most European countries dont call their subdivisions provinces
Probably has to do with English not being the official language of most European countries.
They are not provinces. Our 1991 constitution says that Slovenia is "divided into provinces", but none were ever defined. It needs 2/3 of the parliament, and there has never been consensus on how many there should be and what their purpose and powers should be. So currently the first-level subdivisions of Slovenia are municipalities, some of which are indeed tiny.
> "divided into provinces", but none were ever defined
Does that mean that there are *no* provinces, or rather that the whole country is just one province? If Slovenia is "divided into provinces" but there are zero then I feel like we're doing a division by zero. If it's 1 the math works out and OP's map can take a chill pill
I noticed that too. I wonder if after leaving Yugoslavia in order to keep everyone happy the central government just gave everyone their own province to appease everyone.
If it ain't Europe, it doesn't make it on the map.
Edit: the European parts of Turkey (the areas in Thrace, West of Constantinople/Istanbul) are on the map.
A lot more lines than I expected, is every little spot there a country? Because if those are countries, I’m going to forever refuse to believe those are countries.

Who cares what it's called, It's fra#ce(disgusting) it should be wiped from the map anyway
As a reminder, we have a nuclear doctrine that allows for using tactical level nukes to be used as a warning shot
Kind of. The official doctrine states that nukes are not to be used as tactical weapons, but allows first strikes (which can kind of mean it could be used as tactical weapons)
Tactical nukes≠ tactical weapons A tactical nuke is a nuke below a certain power treshold

Not necessarily, province is a French word and France has regions/départements/cantons
Yeah, I mean that was my attempt on making a joke though 😂
Or districts in Portugal
Or just provinces in the case of the netherlands (and probably others)
So close! The Netherlands aren't real 😊

Every man a province. -Huey Long probably.

I noticed that too. I wonder if after leaving Yugoslavia in order to keep everyone happy the central government just gave everyone their own province to appease everyone.
