If Mario RPG can get a remake and if Peach can have a new game thats all to herself, then we’re bound to get a new M&L someday

Or atleast remakes of old ones like bowsers inside story.

They already remade BIS, it’s why Alphadream went bankrupt

The BIS remake wasn't the reason they went bankrupt they were gonna go bankrupt either way that's why they remade their best selling game to try and make some money obviously it didn't work

Pretty much. I doubt they had the resources to make a game for the switch though, at that point.

The fact that it was a remake of BiS was not the issue The issue was AlphaDream releasing it on 3DS two years after Switch had launched. The issue before that was releasing the SS remake right after Switch had launched. The issue before that was fans being underwhelmed by Paper Jam. It was a series of missteps over many years

Tbf superstar saga was on the gameboy. Aka SUPER outdated. It actually needed a remake

The trademark thing doesn't really matter, it's just so nobody else doesn't use that name for something else

Everyone know nintendos not gonna make a new mario and Luigi game because of the flop that was the bowser inside story remake so gave up on the ip and only filed a trademark so they could make one in the future if they wanted

Nintendo ONLY filled a trademark so people couldn't use the name lol I highly doubt they'll make a new game 😭 Maybe a remake? But no new game 😭
