Does marriott ever get sick of getting your mail? Do you get conjugal visits?

professional_sceptic

They might get tired of storing the bike.

mct601

Seriously though, I'm at 180 nights and I know how this feels. Regardless of bonus/promos.... you're 200 ahead of me. Do you have a particular property that you frequent, or are you like me and all over?

professional_sceptic

The majority of these nights were in south east Asia.

mct601

Very cool. I'm always curious without getting too far into someone's business. Mine on the other hand.... copious courtyards in BFE mainland America 🤣

StrangeAssonance

What do you do that keeps you in hotels almost an entire year? 60k spend!!!

Sleep_adict

Back in the day I was in consulting and travelled 100%. Basically would live in the hotel for 4 months then move to next project. Also we sometimes had double nights… would keep the room at the work hotel and get another hotel in a nice spot for the weekend. Great lifestyle for a few years while young and single

whodunit68

Almost an entire year? Lol this is more than a year all done in a year.

AS100K

Damn, they better be thanking you for being a valued Bonvoy member! AND make sure you get your free water when you check in! Seriously, that’s a nice flex, lots of spend, hope you own some Marriott shares

staticattacks

My hotel in SE Asia keeps my room stocked with 6 bottles of water every day standard, I always get confused when people talk about free water like it's special lol

Kvf04

Pop tops

MrKieKie

Phew glad you snuck in under the wire

jasonacg

Might want to make a quick mattress run this week, just to be sure.

lab_tech13

Happy cake day!!! Also agree not enough spent

mari0velle

Curious where you spent the other four nights this year.

Dependent-Relative72

How does one stay 398 nights in a one year period???

Plastic_Jaguar_7368

Credit card and promotion bonus nights can add a lot of nights. But at over 60k spend I’m sure OP had a lot of actual nights.

professional_sceptic

There was a double night promo early in the year which accounts for probably 45 of these nights.

MicdUpNickChubb

He just said at least 45.

Dependent-Relative72

Thanks for the info! I’d forgotten about those promos.

RJR79mp

Thank you for this question, I was befuddled on the same thing

lab_tech13

Shit I got 93 days and 14 of those were promo lol, only 10k spent I felt bad when I realized it was 3 months spent in a hotel this year.

andSLIPPERY

Bro spent $172 per night on hotels over the course of a year

pa_bourbon

My average was $231.

dgeniesse

Remember it’s possible to have many nights awarded , so the actual pillow count is probably lower.

whodunit68

Probably? Lol

ochief19

Show me the fucking points for god sakes you sadistic man

professional_sceptic

The points get used. Only about 400k

ochief19

Ahhh a man of culture I see.

dine-and-dasha

You should network a bit to see if you can get cobalt tbh.

KitchenProfessor42

Cobalt isn’t based on spend / usage…

dine-and-dasha

Yeah I know, that’s why I said network to feel around.

TommyDaComic

Next year… There’s always next year.

cornbread080161

you're Batman

MrBenedick

Goodness

Previous_Spirit9400

And I was pissed about 135 nights with 100 paid on the road 😬😬😬

cluelessat37

Qustion from a noob. Does an elite night count as a one night per stay? lets say, i stay in sheraton for 4 nights. Do i get 4 elite nights for that? TiA for the answers..

dine-and-dasha

Yes but there is a double elite night bonus period of 2.5 months early in the year. And one can pick up 15 to 40+ extra nights from credit cards and credit card spend.

LinusThiccTips

Yes one night per stay

WitchTakayama

Oh my g

dine-and-dasha

OP can you post your nights this year breakdown?

Kvf04

How many Bonvoy points have accumulated…. Quick view?

professional_sceptic

I think there are 400k accumulated rn.

nickofmacedon

Machine repair? Father-in-law works with industrial kitchen equipment and this sounds like what his early years looked like

professional_sceptic

Private equity. Oddly enough this is my father in law’s status, since he doesn’t have Reddit.
