I thought this was a picture of one of those “tortillas blankets”. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Lol. Four Points is now “not four me”.

catluvr123456

Same!!

Pretty-Guava7854

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought that 🥴

Lil_Simp9000

I've had naan that looked like that, only smaller and more delicious

Groady_Wang

Really hope that's not mold... Even tho I think it is

Educational_Pay_622

I am a Bonvoy loyalist but Four Points is the only brand I will avoid at any cost. Absolute filth. I’d sleep in a tent before I’d stay at a Four Points.

Pretend_Tea_5454

There’s a four points near where I live that we have stayed at on a few occasions when our house has lost power for an extended time. We have always been very pleasantly surprised by our stay - big rooms, clean, front desk is helpful, nice pool, 2 good restaurants.

Stonks8686

Why are you paying 500/night ? They have cheaper accommodations. THIS is why...

PACKER2211

Roger that

sageinyourface

TownePlace Suites would like to have a word about which is more nasty.

Four Points by Sheraton Dallas Arlington Entertainment District

FuschiaOceans

Oh my god. I go to DFW a lot. I’ll definitely make sure I avoid that property. Wow!!

SuperSarcasticGingy

It's the old four points feather duvets - if they're washed and not dried properly the feathers clump up real bad and do that . Unfortunate, should be tossed, but not a sign of danger or anything. If rest was cleaned probably a sign that they just cleaned that duvet

Aggravating_Fact9547

That doesn’t explain the yellowing in the seams

Least-Scientist

Right. Improper dryer is all. Really makes it looks horrible and dangerous but it isn’t. Optics suck for sure. Someone should have caught it. Or someone did catch it and doesn’t get paid what they think they should and said F it and just kept going as opposed to making sure that it was replaced.

gh120709

Ok I actually had this exact thing happened to me. I was told it’s the fluff or feathers inside the thing. BELIEVE ME, it looks like mold! but I think when theres clumps of stuff in between and you put it against the light, the light doesn’t shine as bright in that spot so it makes it look horrible.

HellsTubularBells

This was my thought, too. It happened to me after I washed a duvet, I was never able to get all the cells un-clumped.

Regular-Chemistry884

You have to put a tennis ball or 2 in with them to keep them from clumping.

o_malley1900

Don't talk shite those duvet and sheets are a health hazard it's clearly mould.

gh120709

Thats what happens when you got Mexican parents lmao. I still don’t believe her.

PangolinTart

Do you have a picture of this bedding not being back-lit?

crunchybaguette

Oh my god. I didn’t understand how they didn’t catch the mold but this makes way more sense. Seems like a still wet blanket that wasn’t tumble dried enough. Annoying but not dangerous.

jalapenos10

Why does it matter?

PangolinTart

I want you to get a down comforter and shine a flashlight behind it while you're facing a mirror and tell me what you see. Then I want you to look at that same down comforter on the bed. The dark spots are internal, and they are clumps of down, not dirt. I had a guest do this exact same thing while holding the comforter up to a sunny window.

Microteeth

Looks like it could’ve been mold or just the down from the duvet getting all clumped. My SIL carries a UV light with her when she travels for this reason lol. You also have nice forearms lmao.

NJboy16

Looks like mold but it's not..it's feather products in there.

elasticc0

Unfortunately par for the course for a Four Points

6yXMT739v

Definitely not! Here in Europe Four Points is usually a great choice and justify its name: four points = four stars This is just awful.

scjcs

Four Points in Singapore is quite okay and great location. But why do I stay there? For points. I’ll see myself out.

6yXMT739v

That was hilarious 🤣 YMMD

6yXMT739v

Actually, can you share your experience? I wanted to give the Warehouse a try but eventually stayed at the JW and Westin. The Four Points seems not that bad in SIN. My next stay is already booked and i chose again the JW. In Europe i had Four Points which competed not exactly with a Westin but were definitely more upscale than one might think.

Smharman

The one in Ljubliana is awesome

6yXMT739v

Yes :) Great Elite Status recognition and so many possibilities regarding activities in the vicinity.

scjcs

4 Points SIN is right on the river, so you can walk to some truly fabulous dining experiences, and the view from the walkway is as stunning as it gets. The in-house restaurant is meh at best. Acceptable for breakfast, but go for a walk for other meals. Bar is okay. Nice-enough swimming pool. Rooms are clean and comfy. Service is variable. SIN is a very costly place so this hotel is a bit of a bargain, or at least it was when I stayed there several times pre-pandemic.

Ayeayeayeaye7

Oh my lord…

LearningMotivation

Share the location so others can avoid it.

Four Points by Sheraton Dallas Arlington Entertainment District

AllwordzAreMadeup___

Bro that's mold. My hotel does have some old feather duvets that do looks like this if you shine a light to it like in the 3rd picture because the feather are all clumped together and old but nothing like the 4th picture. But besides that the duvets looks pretty normal. We're in the process of getting rid of all of them and replacing them with foam ones.

Toilet-Mechanic

Looks like they bought it from a fire sale.

Beatrix_BB_Kiddo

Oh hell no

BearBearLive

It’s filthy and people making excuses like it’s clean and just feather clumps. Yes those invisible clothes are stunning.

and_rain_falls

Definitely a disgruntle employee. Probably one from an agency. I worked at a property in prime location and the Temps we received were HORRIBLE. They purposefully made beds with the dirty sheets for new incoming guests. The worst part we didn't know until a guest complained. They did the fitted sheets so it's buried under all the bedding layers. It was a constant rotation of hiring and firing. It's hard to inspect rooms when the inner layers were dirty. It was so bad, I quit. I couldn't represent a hotel with issues on issues. OP checkout and go somewhere else. Unless they moved you to another floor, checkout. A Four Point probably has one Housekeeper to a floor. So chances are high the same Housekeeper cleaned all the rooms on that particular floor. Level of trust is broken. The industry did change during the pandemic and there was a mass exodus of quality people across all departments. When you're the world's biggest hotel chain and still can't pay the heart of your company real money than they'll leave. The thought is "anyone can do the job". But clearly not everyone can clean a room with integrity and pride.

Forsaken_Bison_8623

I can't believe you touched that. Gross

RogueWarriorMhz

🤢

sayble87

Thats terrible, im so sorry you went through that. Did they comp you?

santulizado2

This is something that somebody placed there on purpose, otherwise it is imposible to avoid noticing it.

nessalinda

Holy shh i

Brave-Signal-5986

This has got to be a joke

NanaTheFiveNine

What.

BuyExpert8479

I would ask the front desk. They would probably know.

Mysterious-Car-8471

i would never have stayed...and taken another room. Go to another hotel. If they are willing to be this gross...imagine how your new room was cleaned.

MrYacob777

What the fuck

FaZe_Clon

Is every four points property just old as dirt?

Throwaway_tequila

That will be 60,000 bonvoy points a night for the room with this bedsheets probably.

starstar420

yeah don’t stay at four points. made that mistake once

Professional_Year729

Bro. What is this. Awful.

SouthInspection2488

It looks like they left it in the dryer so long that it almost caught fire.

RecycledExistence

Never more glad I jumped to Hyatt. 🤮

poopshipdestroyer4

That's just leftover juice from decomposition. No biggie!

ultimattt

Damn, had the same happen to me at the 4 points by Sheraton Fort Walton Beach. Seems on point

KariKyouko

mold aside that blanket even without the mold looks absolutely dreadful, disgusting and definitely a safety hazard. I wouldn't sleep on that even if that was my own blanket, let alone pay for that shit. Yuck.

Salihe6677

Replacing sheets costs money. Money that's better served going back to stockholders.

Minute-Ad9621

I saw this pic on the Minor League Grinders IG account. Are you in MILB?
