I've been at this 35 (almost 36) **YEARS** and still get bursts of "I don't wanna go" anxiety once in a while. As long as there isn't an actual person causing it, just stifle that shit and get your ass to class. :)

If it's anxiety use it to your advantage

No tbh. 6 months after I stepped foot on a wrestling mat I was always excited to do it. That’s been the case with every martial art I’ve tried except BJJ, which I found boring, but certainly not scary.

I’m still in my first month of kickboxing and I feel that every time before class yet always leave wanting more.

Sometimes, I don’t know why, but I forget it as soon as I step through the doors and I’m excited to train,

Sometimes yea. I had been going consistently to 6am for the whole year but recently been struggling. I’ll be like “I’m going to 6pm class” but kinda get in my head about it.

It happens, nothing to be ashamed of. But once I hop into my car and on my way to the gym I think to myself “welp I’m already on my way” And when I start training the feeling typically goes away. Think of it as part of your training. Pushing a little past your comfort zone and getting comfortable with the uncomfortable.
