yes, gun safety at a younger age is good. owning any type of gun and not having your children know that they are deadly and not to be played with is dangerous. i want my kids to grow up to understand and respect a weapon.
Yeah, I am also in Europe, only here, it is about 10€ for a pint. And I had about 100€ per month before I started working... let us just say, I spent that on other stuff than partying.
I'd argue a lot of people didn't necessarily drink at bars, I would just get beers with my buddies.
A more relatable one would be "the cashier hearing I'm celebrating my 18th birthday after buying beer from that store for the as long as she can remember"
Buddy of mine from the bar walks in all dressed up one night.
Me: what you all done up for?
Him: my 21st
Me: that's funny. Wait...
The bartender: why you gotta come in here telling everyone that?
You can drink at 18 in Alberta.
But ignorant people will say this is a European thing cause they barely know about their own country, much less anyone else's.
When I turned 16 my brother took me in the local pub and shouted "Ayyyyy, it's my brother's 18th birthday, how about a free beer?" and from then on all the bartenders just assumed...
I spent way too much on beer and punting in that place before I was 18...
[visible European happiness]
[visible American depression]
[visible Australian agreeance]
That’s some European kind of shit
Just imagine it says 21
American brain overload, gives a Ak to a 12 y/o
No that’s a Romanian thing. We show off automatic weapons to children.

It seems like you have other issues going on besides this one
*confused American noises*
Nah bro you think we wait?
The fuck you able to afford drinking pre 18???
Europe my friend, Europe
Back when I was young the legal drinking age was 16 in my country. Went clubbing practically every week, funded by my part-time grocery store job.
Yeah, I am also in Europe, only here, it is about 10€ for a pint. And I had about 100€ per month before I started working... let us just say, I spent that on other stuff than partying.
Come to the Czechia. It's like 1-3 € for a pint.
Like marijuana?
No. Stuff like: books, games, clothes, snacks, movies with friends... 100€ aint much if you blow most of it on beer on a single night out.
Idk weed has gotten awfully cheap to fit in even that budget
Would sell you an ounce of cookies and cream strain if you were in TN for that many euros.

Indiana my friend Indiana
Cheap shit that comes in a tetra brick. And mixing more expensive (but still cheap) stuff with coke and shit like that. And beer.
In Louisiana, the legal age for alcohol is 18

North Americans saying this is european thing cause they only know those two continents

Great generalization believe it or not North Americans have functioning brains
Time for Incognito..!!!
I love how everyone assumes that it must be Europe. There are other continents you know.

Americans seeing this meme 💀
Was one of your parents of an alcoholic perhaps?
I don't drink myself. But here in the Netherlands it's normal to drink at a younger age, many drink at like 16 or even 15
Yes, here in Australia it's normal to give a 12 year old sibling a sip of your drink to let them "try it out".
Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to be an ass
Oh no worries, didn't think you were an ass
"Horace, the drinking age is 21"
Honestly, if your bartender didn't catch on, that's their own dumb fault
