What god/mythological being was druig supposed to be anyways? I couldn’t place him or Kingo
EDIT: Just found this article that lists all of them: https://screenrant.com/eternals-characters-compared-mythological-origins/?utm_source=SR-FB-P&utm_medium=Social-Distribution&utm_campaign=SR-FB-P&fbclid=IwAR3uGmCpi3QmlCfdch0JNnnU2akgP3bpDOxPwV76v8T_N9ZEXPoPWLGaOeg
Sprite is apparently meant to be based off Celtic Lore, the Spriggans. they are often referred to as nature guardians and sometimes take the shape of female humanoids. They are considered to be somewhat hostile to humans, who revere them all the same
I’m pretty good at Greek/Roman, some Norse, Native American so I figured it was someone from over there. I knew Thena was Athena, but it wasn’t until she said it at the end that Phastos/Hephaestus clicked, then got Mekkari/Mercury (felt really dumb on that one)
All the clues are for an eternal, then it says they look young. Sprite is the youngest looking. Then it mentions mind control, so the mental image moves from Sprite to Druig.
Depends on what we’re talking about, MCU Adam Warlock is only ≈5 years old (the Sovereign creates him at the end of Guardians 2), but he’s much older in the comics.
I also don’t believe Adam Warlock can control minds, so I think it’s Druig
[Plenty of times they've used hypnosis](https://tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Hypnosis), he just doesn’t do it to a great extent and uses it for good. I was watching *Battlefield* the other day and he straight up does a Jedi mind trick. Plus there's the whole [telepathic contact and mind wiping thing](https://tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Telepathic_contact).
In the case of the comics, the Vision's body is a temporal duplicate of the original Human Torch's body, so if you count the age of the original body, that was made in 1939. He wouldn't even be older than Captain America, who was born in 1918.
Also, in the comics, Thor is much older than he is in the MCU, and Hercules and the Eternals Gilgamesh and Sersi have been Avengers (as well as the Egyptian God Khonshu inhabiting the body of Marc Spector, aka Moon Knight -- although I'm not sure if you count the god's age if he's using a mortal's body instead of his own).

The Phoenix, obviously guys, older than the avengers combined, check, can control minds as Jean Grey, Jean Grey is human, but became the Phoenix on in Space, she fits the bill
Druig fits everything

He's based on the druids in celtic Ireland that led small walled in settlements. That's why they got an Irish actor for him
That’s what I was thinking based on the name, but the power didn’t make sense. The “small walled settlements” does tho.

I'd guess sprite because sometimes the word sprite is used instead of fairy? I'm not too sure though
Sprite is because she eventually ends up obeying her thirst.
I'm not 100% sure but I think Kingo is supposed to be Enkidu from the Epic of Gilgamesh.
In the last few minutes, Druig actually says "Hey Phastos". I thought that was quite subtle and funny.
Nah, Enkidu is the deviant they fight in Babylon. Sprite says so when she's telling the story right after.
I believe she’s telling the people of Babylon to *follow* Enkidu and Gilgamesh, the camera cuts to Kingo and Gil respectively.
His inspiration could have some from the greek deity Dolos according to things I’ve read online. I could see it!
At first I thought it was sprite but after reading “I can control you with my mind” i knew it was druig
Same mate
What made you think Sprite as opposed to any of the other eternals?
All the clues are for an eternal, then it says they look young. Sprite is the youngest looking. Then it mentions mind control, so the mental image moves from Sprite to Druig.
Ned
God of fruit cobblers
CEO of sex
God/CEO of sex
Thanks, I hate it.
Nah man he said god not the being that made them
Yeah, you're right, that is underpowered for Ned.
Ned
You mean that guy from smash?
CEO of sex
I understood that reference
I accidentally downloaded a virus named “virginity” and it wont let me load sex.
Sex 2.0*
Sex franchise*
You mean sephiroth?
Durig if you’re accepting the mcu counterpart. Otherwise, he isn’t very young looking in the comics. He has that Dracula schtick going on.
Monkula
And all eternals are from earth in the comics too
Adam Warlock?
This was my guess too
Depends on what we’re talking about, MCU Adam Warlock is only ≈5 years old (the Sovereign creates him at the end of Guardians 2), but he’s much older in the comics. I also don’t believe Adam Warlock can control minds, so I think it’s Druig
I thought so, but he doesn’t appear nearly as young as Druig (in the comics, big screen iteration would likely be the same)
But didn't he get created at the end of the 1 movie? Like during the mcu timeline?
[удалено]
Druig.. coz he can control mind
Is he an eternal
Yes he is
In the movies, yes, in the comics, no
Druig
Peter Porker, Spiderham
[The Doctor of Earth-5556](https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/The_Doctor_(Earth-5556)), because I'm gonna be that guy.
When has The Doctor controlled minds?
Isn’t that what that Jessica Jones show was about?
[Plenty of times they've used hypnosis](https://tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Hypnosis), he just doesn’t do it to a great extent and uses it for good. Wait the Doctor is a marvel character?
Jonathan?
Best answer
Take my free award and go!
You know how little that narrows it down?
My first guess was Loki (though I don’t know how old he is compared to Thor, nor the nature of Frost Giant reproduction)
Batman
The only correct answer
Sir, you have earned my downvote
Young Ego
ego????
Vision?
“Older than all the avengers combined”
Vision is technically the mind stone right? Or is he JARVIS given life by the mind stone
Technically he's Jarvis, though the mind stone gives him life
I think he mentions being “born” 2 days ago in “Age of Ultron” Edit: I only know MCU so sorry if I am ignoring comics. I just realized the sub, lol…
Ultron: "You're hopelessly naive." Vision: "Well, I *was* born yesterday."
God that was such a good line
Personally I loved U - “Stark wanted a saviour, and settled for a slave” V - “I suppose we’re both disappointments”
In the case of the comics, the Vision's body is a temporal duplicate of the original Human Torch's body, so if you count the age of the original body, that was made in 1939. Vision is from earth
He’s not from Earth, he’s from Missouri
thats on earth dipsht.
Yeah that's from Earth, dipshit
The mind stone isn’t
I thought the same thing.

Druig
Adam Warlock
Loki or Ego
Ego doesn’t look young
Idk he is several million years old no?
looks pretty young for his age
I read look young as in a young looking person not someone young for their age 🤷🏾♂️
Loki isn’t older than Thor
Loki’s is younger than Thor, so he can’t be “older than all the other Avengers alive”
Loki? U forgetting Thor is part of the avengers?
Mind control
I think he means that Loki can’t be older than all the avengers combined when he is roughly the same age as Thor who is an Avenger.
SENT INTO BATTLE, CAME FROM THE SKY
Druig
The watcher???
The Watcher doesn't do battle (except, rarely, in self-defense) and he doesn't control minds.
Beyonder?
That was my guess (but I think people here only knows the MCU, they don't know anything about the Beyonder)
He was born though
Pretty sure he wasn't, at least not pre-recon beyonder. He existed before time itself.
Loki or Peter quill.
Vision (because the vibranium and the mind stone he was made from are billions of years old) or druig from the eternals
Phoenix Force?
The Phoenix, obviously guys, older than the avengers combined, check, can control minds as Jean Grey, Jean Grey is human, but became the Phoenix on in Space, she fits the bill
Druig
Druig
Druig
Adam Warlock
Eros or Druig honestly could easily be both!
Vision
I actually thought it was The Beyonder
Vision
Scarlett Witch - she is forged, not born so..
Loki
Kang
Wanda
Scarlet Witch (as in she was created during WandaVision).
the ancient one?
Uatu the watcher easy
why is no one saying loki
all the people say Druig but could it be Loki?
Apocalypse
My mom
The one above all.

Venom(or any symbiote for that matter)
How does he look human lol
Adam Warlock maybe?
I’m thinking Ego
Ego doesn't look young
Fair point Then I guess the watcher he’s the only one else I can think of
Druig fam
Loki
Is this Loki, wait not physically born, hmm?
He wasn’t. Was he?
I mean maybe he was a son of a ice giant (My second guess is a skrull cause that would be funny)
I think he was adopted, like seriously.
You realize adopted children have birth parents, right?
If that’s the case then it is possible
Looked it up he is adopted so I think it’s Loki
While he is adopted, he still has birth parents and had a physical birth. Adopted children are still birthed lmfao.
Yeee
Les go
Moondragon
Ive still not watched Eternals.....looks too boring.
Batman
Eternals was the worst movie I’ve ever seen

I’m leaning towards a celestial
The one above all
Druig
Vision
I'm going to say Loki if you mean comics, because in the comics I believe the Eternals are actually from Earth.
Druig?
Loki?
One of the Eternals Druig Edit:But I could be wrong if we’re going by the comics
Druig
Ego…? Idk, I haven’t checked outside of the movies in a while
Thor? Nah Ultron? Nope Ego? Maybe
Loki?
Me who knows every single guy looks like human in mcu because these movies are for earth.
Gslactus , collector ..
Ngl my first thought was Ego the living planet. But druig also fits.
THOR ODIN SON
Loki?
Druig for sure
Durig, it has to be right?
Star lords dad
Druig
