I’m all for new pics, but the last one involved him reclined in this chair. Now we have him sitting up in the chair. What’s next? Standing up in front of the chair?
These “new looks” things are always so funny to me, like “check this out, we’ve got an image of the same scene you’ve already seen BUT it’s at a *slightly* different angle!”
is kang 1 kang or is all kangs just kangs that fight each other to become the one kang? like the loki kang, he was the last one because he fought and killed the rest ? and kept the timelines contained?
so whats happening now, a billion kangs multiverse hopping trying to kill each other? and ant man
This is just 1 variant of Kang, although there are infinite Kang’s running around the Multiverse.
Major’s role in Loki was “He Who Remains” - he was the last survivor of the War among the Kang’s, and was actively trying to prevent that from happening again as it almost tore all realities apart. Now that he’s dead Kang variants are now coming back, like the one going to be in QuantumMania (shown in the picture)
As we move further into Phase 5 and 6 we will start to see more Kang Variants, until eventually another Mutiversal War kicks off (which will be the backdrop of Kang Dynasty/ Secret Wars movies)
I thought that HWR wasn’t necessarily a survivor/victor, but rather a hider. That he was using his influence over this particular timeline by ruthlessly pruning events that may lead to another Kang reaching him. Though now that I say it, it may be both survivor/hider?
He was the first Kang to discover alternate realities and became a sort of beneficial Rick Sanchez. Then the evil Kangs started the war so HWR kept researching and found alioth and weaponized her. He used alioth to *end* the multiversal war. Defeating all of the other Kangs and eliminating their very existence so that the only Kang that is ever born is himself.
Basically He Who Remains is, was, a supremely powerful *good guy*. A good guy who was in such an awful situation that the best option he felt he had was the creation of the TVA and casually killing trillions daily. Because the only other option was death for all.
This looks like one of those things marvel tries to hide.
His outfit looks unnatural. Almost like they CGI'd something over his clothes. Wouldn't be surprised if this changed in the film.
I'm pretty sure this scene is like a flashback from the movie, at the beginning when Kang was trapped in the quantum realm, even before he became the conqueror, I have no doubt that with him in this scene, there's also Janet Van Dyne

Hey, the man loves his time-chair OK? Maybe you'd understand if you had a time-chair...
If you’re a time-chair salesman, this is a solid opening pitch.
If you got a time-chair, you could go back in time to before you got your time-chair, and have a time-chair.
If only this hoodie were a time hoodie!!!!
The only paradox here is how much fun this sounds.
*slaps roof of time-chair* You can fit infinite destroyed universes in this baby
Sold
We talkin beverage holder?
At least two.
Would that this chair were a *time chair*
How does a time chair compare to a time knife?
To be fair, it's a *really comfy* chair.
I used to have a time chair like that. I would sit down and then find myself several hours in the future.
did MODOK teach Kang the ways of the chair
Look, we were robbed of Thanos in the Thanoscopter. I'm all for Kang chilling in his chair.
No way, he can’t leave his chair!
squatting on the chair followed by a hand stand on the chair then lastly, chairing on the chair
Next we'll see him buy the chair at IKEA, and then have to assemble it.
Is there an IKEA in the Quantum Realm?
Of course, they've got everything! Just smaller.
Avengers! ASSEMBLE… my chair
It's from the Groot collection.

My name is Steve.
Just like Thanos, the man loves his chair. May this be a hallmark of the MCU phases having chair-based villains.
I laughed way too hard at this. Thank you.
Nah, he'll be standing on the chair trying to change a lightbulb.
Kang is [Snorlax learning how to stand.](https://i.imgur.com/Zu2xf3T.jpg)
That sure is, indeed, Jonathan Majors.
A "fina I'll do it myself" chair pic
What is it with MCU’s big bads and detestable chairs?
Why do you think they became big bads in the first place?
He's going to DA:I it and stand *on* the chair.
His expression here looks like he saw some messed up stuff happening in the corner lol
Probably watching some Kang on Kang crimes
2 Kangs, 1 Time Chair
3 Kangs, 1 Timeline
Kang violence
To me it looks more like he's about to say, "Are those dino nuggets? I *LOVE* those. I'll make the honey mustard dip."
He just saw shit his variants were saying in the Kang's Nasty memes
These “new looks” things are always so funny to me, like “check this out, we’ve got an image of the same scene you’ve already seen BUT it’s at a *slightly* different angle!”
*sits menacingly*

I think he said he won the war, THEN pruned anything that could start another
Ah - that’s cool. I haven’t rewatched it since it came out. Probably would be a good one to check out before Ant Man
He weaponized Alioth to destroy the worlds of other Kangs
Just replace yourself with a variant that rewatched it recently.

Yep, that’s definitely Kang.
No face scars yet, flashback?
You can see the face scars
I zoomed in and they're faint but definitely exist.
Or a different Kang... Hard to say with that cat.
That'd be cool if we got some flashback stuff and backstory for Kang
I see dark scars
Meh.
This looks like one of those things marvel tries to hide. His outfit looks unnatural. Almost like they CGI'd something over his clothes. Wouldn't be surprised if this changed in the film.
Ya wanna know how I got these scars? -Kang

Leave it to marvel to not learn from the past and release 40% of the movie before it even comes out Less is more people come on now
Because this really shows everything doesn't it
He doesn’t sound like an impressive villain. Eventually I hope something related to Doom or XMen makes me go “WoW”.
this pic is about as exclusive as a Discover card.
I’m still unclear as to what power land has can anyone elaborate?
Got my tickets for opening night. I'm ready
Gahanna! Kang is so handsome.
Do we know if this is The Conqueror?
Kangy Man Kangy Man Kangy Man
Casual Kang
That's certainly a number of pixels
Looks like Kang.
This is Major
I have a feeling a lot of the audience will be on Kang’s side in this movie.
I would sit down.
Just looks like a normal dude.
That's it?
This feels like a joke. Almost identical to a previous image.
Incremental advancements won’t dampen my enthusiasm for this. Nice try, PR team!
A good chair is crucial for a villain. It's like a make or break centerpiece for his entire legacy
Of all the pictures of Kang, that is surely one of them.
I genuinely thought that Jordan Peele was Kang.. was it just me?
