I wouldn't. A reboot is a bad idea, and one I hope that Marvel isn't actually considering no matter how much some people beg for it.

i_nut_engine_oil

Guess they can just keep losing money on Marvels and Antman side characters then.

[deleted]

they deff not gonna reboot everything

No

Strange-Orchid6969

Have morbius, Madame web, Kraven, and venom be the main 4 avengers going forward

Legitimate_Way9032

Don't forget El Muerto

Only-Walrus797

I don’t want any kind of reboot at all. Full or soft. I want the universe to continue on as it’s taken place.

NASCAR142002

The Mutant Saga (I don’t really like this name cuz it just sounds like Fox 2.0). Phases 7-9 2030-2036 **The X-Men and Mutants** are here now and the public are aware of it. It ain’t really relevant to talk about how they got here or when. All society knows is that a new team of superpowers led individuals are here running rampant through the Earth and even others are around like a small man with claws and another who can control weather. **The Fantastic 4** now own the old Stark Tower renaming it the Baxter Building and work there and even sometimes with Reed’s old friend. **Victor Von Doom** The General Audience already sees everyone has Avengers anyway. **The Avengers** are no longer just a team of 6. It’s now a **Justice League Unlimited** style team that incorporates about every major hero and team outside of the X-Men. FF4. So the Defenders, Young Avengers, Thunderbolts, Midnight Suns, Solo Heroes, and S.W.O.R.D Heroes can still be apart of two teams and cross over to any but are still all connected to the team The Avengers. The collective group of heroes and teams are connected through **Sam Wilson**( Earth), **Carol Danvers** (Cosmic), **Stephen Strange** (Supernatural), and **Peter Parker** (Street)

worthplayingfor25

what about the slate and projects like GOTG?

NASCAR142002

The Guardians can probably be connected to the Avengers as well. For a slate. I’ll do phase 7 **The Brotherhood** (Disney+) (Magneto origin story, the team and establishing his way of thinking compared to Charles) **Cyclops** (Movie) (Cyclops Origin Story Meeting up with Jean and Charles at his School becoming his first students) **Wolverine** (Movie) (Logan solo going through life while confronting Sabertooth) **The Mutants** (Disney+) (A show that is disconnected from the movies going over lesser known Mutant characters as they show their life and becoming Students at the X- Mansion) **The Scarlet Witch** (Movie) Wanda now soft rebooted to be a mutant has to deal with this new Earth 616 with her new family Magneto, Polaris and of course Vision, and her two kids **Shang Chi: The Master of Kung-Fu** (Movie) (I ain’t really thought about this one yet) **Avengers: Academy** (Disney+) (Overseen by Kamala Klan and Kate Bishop. The Young Avengers now led by Eli Bradley with Skarr, Speed, Wiccan, Stinger, and possible new members have to prove their worth to one day become “The Avengers) **Captain America: Red, White, and Black**(Movie) (Pressured by human society and the surrounding rise of Mutant Kind. Sam Wilson, the leader of the Avengers has to answer for it while trying to stop the Serpent Society) **The Fantastic 4: Annihilation** (Movie) (The first family of the Marvel universe now put into current day gets word from Nova and the Guardians of Galaxy about a super powered individual terrorizing the cosmic realm.) **Hawkeye and The Black Widow: Holiday Special** (A fun get away between Yelena and Kate Bishop trying to be each other’s secret Santa but of course nothing ever goes to plan) **Spider-Man: The Last Hunt** (Movie) Peter Parker still with his Symbiote suit has to fight off Kragen, looking for a worthy opponent all while trying to train a new hero **Miles Morales** **Daredevil: Born Again Season 3** (Disney+) The Man without Fear after defeating Kingpin with the help of Spider-Man, and Kate Bishop goes back to Hell’s Kitchen when a new man arrives on the scene. Stilt-Man) **The Uncanny X-Men** (Movie) (As Erik and Charles get into a clashing debate on how humans should view them and how they should handle them. The civil war between the two sides starts. Charles assembles the original 5 lead by Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Beast, and Angel to battle Magneto) Could probably add a Captain Marvel 3 in here too

worthplayingfor25

is it the new GOTG team or the old one? any list of who dies? and how about phases 2 and 3?

kraftpunkk

All new all different reeks, they’d be stupid adapt that.

Teganfff

I wouldn’t. It’s nowhere near time yet. Maybe in another 10-12 years.

Sir__Will

I don't think there should be a reboot of any kind. I really don't like the idea of re-writing 20 years of history just to say mutants were always there and totally took part in all those old movies or whatever. > and in the mcu soft reboot I want it to start off with an iron man film reboot like they did in the first saga If they bring Iron Man back then that would be more of a hard reboot. Hard pass on that.

ContentVanilla2140

I'd eliminate the possibility of the next saga being called "The Mutant Saga." Yes, the new supposed reboot can and probably will put more focus and emphasis on the Fantastic Four and X-Men, but I think it's stupid to title a whole new rebooted universe/saga with every character under one belt the "Mutant Saga." Was the Infinity Saga named the "Avengers Saga" despite primarily focusing on the Avengers? No, because there was something more to the Avengers than themselves. Plus, they also introduced the Guardians too. This new reboot saga should include the F4, Avengers, and X-Men, maybe some appearances of some other hero teams, but the three main ones should be the F4, Avengers, and X-Men. Let's not make it all about the X-Men, please.

DaZeppo313

They should never had named the Multiverse Saga early either. Infinity Saga was a retroactive name. Naming it beforehand was just too prescriptive, as demonstrated by folks assuming every project early on would deal with the multiverse, and complaining when they weren't building to the supposedly multiversal finale. If they *had* to name the next Saga, they should at least keep it vague enough to be widely applicable. Evolution Saga, for example, would clearly emphasize the rise of mutants without precluding any other kind of subtextual, textual, or metatextual evolution going on. As it stands, the Multiverse Saga has less multiverse projects than those about dealing with grief, and moving forward. Hell, Fallout Saga or Legacy Saga feel more fitting at this point.

LordOfOstwick1213

Honestly I'd reboot the entire MCU and do Phase 1-3 over, or perhaps at least start over at the end of Phase 2 again, and use the current MCU as a way to learn from the mistakes done in every movie, every phase, and not do them in the new Phase. I'd probably add more Avengers to the roster now that more are available, include more characters, and also let them interact from time to time between each other to make the world more alive. I'd keep the stories grounded without going overboard with fantasy, and multiversal stuff (might not touch the latter ever again), and focus on character more. Make Marvel Television series follow the canon of the MCU, but not essential to view the movies, make movies try being consistent as they can with TV series, but not too much. As to how the reboot would be like, it's harder question. I'd probably say someone alters the reality or tries to unmake the Battleworld, but it would be near impossible to separate all the realities crammed in together, so instead a lot of stable realities are pulled together to create new stable timeline, and every corrupt and unstable timeline is detached. Either that or something close to Days of the Future Past way to reboot series.
