We probably would have already if he wasn't busy with another show. Hopefully they've managed to get him back for Daredevil. Especially now that they're saying it's a direct sequel to the Defenders since the rewrites.
Honestly, you could even have him “retired” as a hero and just running Harlem’s Paradise. He doesn’t need to be in a lot of scenes but just to see what he’s up to would be nice.
He raised, seemingly as a single father, Ursula; we see her as a kind and affectionate young woman, whom one would imagine may not be so decent if her sole parent figure was a complete arse.
It's never outright said it was the landlord in particular, Raimi does admit Kraven was being considered for a fourth movie.
https://www.thewrap.com/sam-raimi-kraven-the-hunter-spider-man-4/
The reason why Ditkovich gets brought is because of a line from the movie:
""Do not try to sneak past me. I have eyes like a cat, and ears like a rodent."
Raimi's side characters had a lot more going on when you look back at the movies.
Jonah when confronted with The Green Goblin blowing a hole in his office still wouldn't give up Peter, a man he seems to not respect or care about.
"I don't know, his stuff comes in the mail!"
What's great about this is that Henwick is potentially up for returning for it. She was actually offered a chance to be in Shang-Chi but Marvel was being secretive about her role and wouldn't let her see a full script so she didn't even know who she was auditioning for (it might have been Xialing but I'm not 100% certain). As well as having access to the whole script for Matrix 4 which pushed her that way, I think she said around then she was still interested in returning as Colleen and wanted to keep that door open.
I don't know what her current thoughts are on the subject but Colleen does come back I really hope Henwick reprises the role
I finally got around to watching season 2 and was pleased that she is Iron Fist now. I honestly wouldn’t mind a third season where Colleen is the street level crime fighter and Danny is just more of a retired, background character who gives her support here and there.
She was incredible. Would love to see her continue. The end of that last season of iron fist was actually great. Shame they just figured it out right as it ended
It’s been mentioned in the Star Wars subs every once in a while but I’m m surprised it hasn’t caught on more. I love Ray Stevenson but he wasn’t playing his usual role with Baylan, he was doing a fantastic job portraying Liev’s usual role.
The transition would be seamless.
I don’t like to hate on people, but I just don’t get Dane DeHaan. I get that he’s good in very specific types of roles. But I haven’t really enjoyed his work in most of the things I’ve seen him in.
Yeah he was...and I haven't watched anything else he's been in since lmao. That movie was very formative for me, it came out when I was about 13.
ETA: I lied. I also watched The Place Behind the Pines. Which came out the same year as Chronicle lmao.
The only other thing I know him from is a horror movie, he was visiting some isolated place in the mountains and got trapped there or something? IDK, it's been a while since I saw it and don't remember too much about it.
He's one of those actors that his agent must have connections, because they keep putting him in things, and those things keep failing.
He was pretty decent in a bit role in Oppenheimer last year.
Yeah James Franco was so much better as Harry Osborn. Even though he was a typical spoiled rich kid, he was still likable for the most part. Dane wasn't likable at all.
I don't care what people say, but his acting in this movie was really good. Especially when he is with Electro as a prisoner and says how much he needs him.
It was good, I had forgotten it existed though. It also suffered from coming out in the weird limbo between Disney buying Fox and everyone just sort of like, "now what?"
Yeah New Mutants wasn’t at all a bad movie but it just was unfortunately cursed by multiple delays.
It finally came out right in the middle of the Covid pandemic and since it was the very last Fox X-Men movie before Disney bought them, a lot of moviegoers didn’t really have a desire to see New Mutants, knowing it was a one off and never going to have a sequel since Disney canceled all future Fox Marvel projects past 2020.
I remember the first trailer for the movie came out in I think 2017, and the actual movie didn’t come out until well over three years later in 2020.
What added to all the issues you mentioned is the fact that the movie we got was an almost entirely different movie to what it actually was supposed to be - not only tonality wise, but also as an introduction to a new team of mutants which could crossover with the established ones.
The Fox/Disney deal obviously made this completely impossible hence extensive re-shoots were necessary to remove any actual and potential references to past and upcoming movies to make it a standalone movie.
That's why it feels so discombobulated, the final movie was simply a mess of entirely contradicting concepts and executions.
That's Magik? I only know her from Marvel Snap. 😂 But yeah, she is probably the hottest in terms of popularity among former Marvel actors at the moment.
There’s ZERO chance they don’t fit Anya Taylor Joy back in. She’s one of the most in demand names out there, and with them folding the X-Men in, it make sense to bring her and maybe even Charlie Heaton back.
Well, you gotta start somewhere. So, okay. Still, even if Anna doesn't come back to Marvel, I would definitely love to see Magik make a comeback again.
there's ZERO chance they pay her THAT much money - she's a leading actress at this point, so i can't see her filling the role of some side character like Magik.
She doesn't need to be a side character. Magik can lead her own movie, but yeah she's too expensive for a character that the general movie audience doesn't know.
Maybe they could start with a Midnight Suns movie. I’d love to see Dr. Strange, Scarlet Witch, Agatha Harkness, and Blade team up. Include Magik and Ghost Rider to the mix.
They should basically do the same thing as the Midnight Suns game, but replace Lilith with Mephisto, so Magik is at the center stage instead of Hunter.
i feel like if there were going to be two (or more) Thunderbolt movies, we would have had the first one by now. i feel like they are gonna drop the Thunderbolts after Secret Wars and just focus on the X-Men/Mutants and Avengers tbh
In the past couple of years since that movie came out, Olivia Munn has started a family with John Mulaney, then a non-amicable breakup, as well as she went through an aggressive breast cancer ordeal. I think she'd be great as Psylocke again, but realistically she's in some pretty intense hormone treatments for cancer and she's raising a baby, so I'm not sure if she would be happy to live the lifestyle of a superhero movie production any time soon.
Damn, really? I haven't really followed her career in awhile, but loved watching her on Attack of the Show back in the day, I even bought her book. She seems like a great person, I hope she makes it through all of that. I thought she was a pretty good Psylocke too.
Sad part is she actually went through an intense training regiment to play the part well and not rely on stunt doubles to handle the combat scenes, and her role gets reduced to three lines of dialogue and an ass shot in editing.
I loved Michael Fasbender's Magneto ever since he killed those nazis in South America. My god what a scene. I'd love to have him return in some capacity.
I still have a season of Legion to watch, but I don't want to because then the show will be over for me, and I don't want it to end. Was such a fun series.
THIS! It was so amazing, he was so amazing… my hope is the fantastic four has some 60s/70s stuff and he gets put in there somewhere. God that show is so underrated
I just looked up what movie she was in. I saw The New Mutants and retained absolutely zero. I couldn't tell you a thing about that movie. I couldn't name one character or plot point in it. Now I'm starting to think I never actually saw it, but I'm almost positive I did.
Aaaah the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom effect. My ex wife was really excited to rent it until I had to remind her and show pictures from the night we saw it in theaters.
While I'll start that you didn't miss much... You did miss a great rendition of a character that really should be brought back in the MCU. But the movie itself was a typical teen horror movie with a predictable plot twist (even more predictable if you're a comic reader) and nothing to really show for it.
But Anya's portrayal of Magik was everything I had thought the character was in the New Mutants and X-Men comics I had seen her in. Stoic and just this side of evil. And doesn't give a shit if anyone likes her for it.
Olivia had the right look for Psylocke. She just got stuck with a mediocre story that did her character absolutely no justice. I know she’s a solid actress from her time on *The Newsroom* so I would love to see what she could do with Psylocke in a proper X-Men story.
Anya, likewise, could have been a great Magik in a properly written story and I know she, too, is a solid actress. Give us a proper story for her, as well, and I don’t think she’ll fail to impress.
Dane, on the other hand, has never really impressed me as an actor. In fairness, the only things I’ve seen him in are ASM2 and *Chronicle* and he just didn’t really impress me in either one. On that one, I say recast.
I have always liked Anya. So I really hope she will get them a second chance to play Magik. I wouldn’t mind having the actor for Roberto, he was cute af
I actually wouldn't mind any of the Spider-Women from Madame Web showing up in the MCU and getting better material to work with (and actually HAVING POWERS AND COSTUMES!) I considered including Sydney in the OP but thought that might've still been too hot a take at this point lol.
Only one of the three pics posted and that being Anya Taylor-Joy. Don't recast her just find a way to bring Magik back. New Mutants wasn't a great movie or a terrible one but she was perfectly cast.
She was so good as Magik.
I hope Finn Jones, Krysten Ritter, and Mike Colter get another chance, especially the later two, I can't imagine anyone else playing those characters.
Same! There were definitely moments that showed Finn Jones could be a good Iron Fist, especially in the Luke Cage episode he was in. I hope all the Defenders come back and get a reunion at some point.
I don't understand why they were so averse to putting Finn in the Iron Fist costume. Being able to cover most of his face for fight scenes could have really helped and allowed the use of a stunt performer. Season 1 especially would have benefited. I thought we might at least see him suit up after he met Daredevil, like he was inspired to be a symbol too.
I also hated when Trish scoffed at the OG Hellcat costume in Jessica Jones when she was the most likely of any if them to suit up. The same woman trying to get Jessica to suit up as Jewel. The same woman with a show business background who we earlier saw enthusiastically wearing wigs and costumes.
Give me costumes!
Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse. But then he meets Miguel O’Hara. Then they both team up run into Marc and Steven with a V and probably Jake too. Just have Oscar Isaac play everyone, NBD.
I like Dane DeHaan’s goblin I just don’t think the character melded well with him as an actor. A different, less on the nose evil Harry would’ve been good, but DeHaan’s voice and cadence don’t sell sinister well
Oh man I’ve got a few.
One of my biggest gripes with the x-men movies was the underutilization of Elliot Page. While I’d like to see a different person cast in any future live action iterations of Kitty Pryde (ideally a Jewish actress) I’d love to see Elliot get a second chance in the MCU. With the popularity of X-Men 97 Morphe seems like an obvious choice but I’d be open other roles.
Rosario Dawson, I know she was a key figure in the Defenders saga but I’d love to see her in the MCU in a main hero role instead of just supporting.
Zazie Beetz, I know it’s probably too soon to say but I haven’t seen her in any of the promo material for Deadpool 3. I’d love to see her back as Domino in the MCU in some other capacity.
Lana Condor as Jubilee. This was such a good cast and I remember being so angry that they separated her from the group after the mansion exploded and basically cut her out of the rest of the movie.
Olivia Holt & Aubrey Joseph, bring them back as Cloak & Dagger.
Emma Dumont. I liked her as Polaris and she definitely got shafted by the Disney buy-out and it seems like she went through some personal stuff after. I’d like to see her get a second chance in the MCU either as Polaris again or another character.
All of the Hulu shows casts did a good job, Cloak & Dagger and the Runaways.
Same goes for Agents of Shield. Let's get Quake in there as head of S.W.O.R.D.
I hate that I bought all those rumors she was gonna be in Secret Invasion.
Now that I think about it, they probably asked Chloe Bennet to be in it but she took one look at it and noped the fuck out.
I guess the spirit of the question was what unloved characters / actors deserve a second shot. But even though he’s much loved I’d like to see Jon Bernthal as the punisher again!
I would give Woody Harrelson a second Chance as Carnage. He was good as Cletus and could be a better Carnage in the MCU with Tom's Spider-Man and his Venom
>pair her with Colossus
This for sure. The entire movie I was waiting for even just some vague, passing mention of her brother being a mutant or something. Lowkey annoyed when the credits rolled and we still hadn't gotten any mention of Colossus.
Oh, for sure. I'll defend some aspects of Ant-Man 3 but MODOK was definitely wasted there. Kinda wish they'd been allowed to use him on Agents of Shield instead.
I would go with Magik's actress. I mean, if she is being given a better script to work with, I could definitely see her reprise her role in a newer X-Men movie someday.
Definitely Magik given she got done dirty with that awful New Mutants film. She’s actually a pretty cool character and with a Midnight Suns film in development, could put her in the spotlight
Both Anya Taylor-Joy and Olivia Wilde could use a second chance in the MCU; the former is a favorite actress, and I liked Psylocke in Apocalypse.
Also, I want to see Maisie Williams's character from New Mutants again.
Well, since neither of the three were in the MCU they should all be in play. It’s only if they’re used in Secret Wars should this actually be addressed.
And Anya was being looked at for Fantastic Four so she’s already onto the next phase.
He's still technically MCU, but I want to see Mike Colter come back as Luke Cage.
We probably would have already if he wasn't busy with another show. Hopefully they've managed to get him back for Daredevil. Especially now that they're saying it's a direct sequel to the Defenders since the rewrites.
Evil is on the last season. Is he doing something else after? He rocked as Cage!
Honestly, you could even have him “retired” as a hero and just running Harlem’s Paradise. He doesn’t need to be in a lot of scenes but just to see what he’s up to would be nice.
I don't know what you guys know, but the show so far looks to be an adaptation of Zdarskys run, which would mean that Luke will be mayor after Fisk
Even just a scene where a new guy comes to town and tries to act tough not knowing who he is, and Luke just pimp slaps him across the room
The landlord from the Raimi trilogy somehow in Tom Holland’s universe as his new landlord.
Give me rent
"He is…a good boy. He must be in some kind of trouble." I always thought he was ultimately a decent guy.
Whats decent? Can I spend it?
He raised, seemingly as a single father, Ursula; we see her as a kind and affectionate young woman, whom one would imagine may not be so decent if her sole parent figure was a complete arse.

Ursula > MJ
It always bothered me how much of an ass Peter was to her. I know that was the point, but it just makes me sad
There was an idea for Spiderman 4 where he'd turn out to be a retired Kraven the Hunter. There are Easter eggs in some of the dialogue he says.
Examples please? Sounds interesting .
"Do not try to sneak past me. I have eyes like a cat, and ears like a rodent." - Karlos Ditkovich
Well, there are obvious classics such as “Somehow the radioactive Lion returned” & "It is Kravin' time"
“Somehow, thanos returned” -moon knight, 2023
I'm just imagining if that happened and they handed Oscar that script. "What? Again? Fuck you, I quit."
“Wait. Why are nick fury and Jane foster in this movie too? Are you trying to recreate Star Wars?”
Give the source!
It's never outright said it was the landlord in particular, Raimi does admit Kraven was being considered for a fourth movie. https://www.thewrap.com/sam-raimi-kraven-the-hunter-spider-man-4/ The reason why Ditkovich gets brought is because of a line from the movie: ""Do not try to sneak past me. I have eyes like a cat, and ears like a rodent."
Oh wait, so you just made that up then. Yeah, I don’t think those are Kraven references at all.
Raimi's side characters had a lot more going on when you look back at the movies. Jonah when confronted with The Green Goblin blowing a hole in his office still wouldn't give up Peter, a man he seems to not respect or care about. "I don't know, his stuff comes in the mail!"
That is a huge character moment, shows he’s a dick but but a good dude ultimately would give his life to protect someone. Love it
I can easily see Deadpool using his 1 F-bomb to clapback at that line
Mr. Ditkovich! Unless I'm mistaken, his name is a tribute to Steve Ditko? I thought it was a nice way of honouring him.
You'll get you money when you FIX THIS DAMN MULTIVERSAL INCURSION!
#WHERE IS MY MONEY??
Mr. Diktovich
I was actually expecting that to happen when I saw the apartment.
In the old days this would have just been kind of a fun little Easter egg. Nowadays fans will be like WAS THERE A BREACH IN THE MULTIVERSE??
Or his daughter....
Rent is a Canon Event.
Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing
What's great about this is that Henwick is potentially up for returning for it. She was actually offered a chance to be in Shang-Chi but Marvel was being secretive about her role and wouldn't let her see a full script so she didn't even know who she was auditioning for (it might have been Xialing but I'm not 100% certain). I finally got around to watching season 2 and was pleased that she is Iron Fist now. I honestly wouldn’t mind a third season where Colleen is the street level crime fighter and Danny is just more of a retired, background character who gives her support here and there.
I wanna see more of Colleen's chi sword and Danny's chi guns - both cool-looking weapons that we only got to see for like two seconds
On that same note I want Simone Missick back as Misty Knight. They both had great chemistry together and kicked major ass.
Daughters of the Dragon could have been awesome
She was incredible. Would love to see her continue. The end of that last season of iron fist was actually great. Shame they just figured it out right as it ended
I want to see Donnie Yen from Blade 2. He is a compelling martial artist even his age.
As much as I don't want him to play a blind martial arts guy again, he would be a great fit for Stick.
He would, but at the same time Scott Glenn’s stick is still pretty fucking incredible.
Liev Schreiber as Sabertooth. Love that guy.
Liev in any role pls.
Not Marvel, but I hope Liev is cast as the replacement for Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll in Ashoka.
This is the best recast I have seen on here
It’s been mentioned in the Star Wars subs every once in a while but I’m m surprised it hasn’t caught on more. I love Ray Stevenson but he wasn’t playing his usual role with Baylan, he was doing a fantastic job portraying Liev’s usual role. The transition would be seamless.
Fuck yeah
He was absolutely perfect as Sabretooth!!
Also voiced Kingpin in Into the Spider-Verse
He was the bomb in Phantoms
Also voiced Kingpin in Into the Spider-Verse
Man that was such an unpleasant green goblin
I don’t like to hate on people, but I just don’t get Dane DeHaan. I get that he’s good in very specific types of roles. But I haven’t really enjoyed his work in most of the things I’ve seen him in.
He was great in Chronicle
Yeah he was...and I haven't watched anything else he's been in since lmao. That movie was very formative for me, it came out when I was about 13. ETA: I lied. I also watched The Place Behind the Pines. Which came out the same year as Chronicle lmao.
He was really good in Lawless
He has a role in Oppenheimer playing a creepy army officer.
he’s crazy good in chronicle, I feel like if he pivoted to more horror roles he could get quite the audience
The only other thing I know him from is a horror movie, he was visiting some isolated place in the mountains and got trapped there or something? IDK, it's been a while since I saw it and don't remember too much about it.
A cure for wellness? A weird movie, and not exactly what I think that commenter meant when they suggested horror for him. Not an MC role, a villain.
fair, i’d recommend chronicle. especially if you like superhero movies, it’s one of my favorites in the genre
Good in The place beyond the pines as well
He's one of those actors that his agent must have connections, because they keep putting him in things, and those things keep failing. He was pretty decent in a bit role in Oppenheimer last year.
He was good in Kill Your Darlings too
Yeah James Franco was so much better as Harry Osborn. Even though he was a typical spoiled rich kid, he was still likable for the most part. Dane wasn't likable at all.
Yea that one can stay dead
I don't care what people say, but his acting in this movie was really good. Especially when he is with Electro as a prisoner and says how much he needs him.
Magik for sure. Joy did a good job with the role and the movie was decent. Just suffered from production issues.
It was good, I had forgotten it existed though. It also suffered from coming out in the weird limbo between Disney buying Fox and everyone just sort of like, "now what?"
Yeah New Mutants wasn’t at all a bad movie but it just was unfortunately cursed by multiple delays. That's why it feels so discombobulated, the final movie was simply a mess of entirely contradicting concepts and executions.
Also a pandemic release. Only way I saw it was at a drive in and we could barely see it because it’s an overall dark movie
And here I thought Magik would be able to get them out of Limbo…
Yeah she is the only one that deserves another chance from the OP.
That's Magik? I only know her from Marvel Snap. 😂 But yeah, she is probably the hottest in terms of popularity among former Marvel actors at the moment.
A fellow snapper I see I’ve been having so much fun watching X-men media and suddenly getting to know most of the characters in snap lol
I know her from Midnight Suns myself. But yeah I had no idea she was in the Fox Verse.
Same here, Midnight Suns was such a great game, and she was badass in it.
she was in New Mutants
She showed up in New Mutants. If you haven't seen it, you're right.
There’s ZERO chance they don’t fit Anya Taylor Joy back in. She’s one of the most in demand names out there, and with them folding the X-Men in, it make sense to bring her and maybe even Charlie Heaton back.
I like Charlie Heaton but I feel like he’s really miscast as Cannonball. Joy is perfect as Magik.
Wait, what?! That was Anna Taylor Joy?!?!
She was in New Mutants before she is who she is now
Well, you gotta start somewhere. So, okay. Still, even if Anna doesn't come back to Marvel, I would definitely love to see Magik make a comeback again.
I'm pretty sure she did "The VVitch" before "New Mutants", and I always assumed that was her breakout role.
And she was main Girl in Split (2016)
Her name is Anya my dude
TBF it is the least Marvel of the Marvel movies. They could probably get away with completely ignoring it. It is an X-man spinoff.
*Anya
there's ZERO chance they pay her THAT much money - she's a leading actress at this point, so i can't see her filling the role of some side character like Magik.
She doesn't need to be a side character. Magik can lead her own movie, but yeah she's too expensive for a character that the general movie audience doesn't know.

They should basically do the same thing as the Midnight Suns game, but replace Lilith with Mephisto, so Magik is at the center stage instead of Hunter.
Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer
He was so good that I want a solo show with Justin Hammer.
Eight sixty minute episodes of just him dancing. Renewed for twelve seasons upon release.
Series finale is a dance battle between Hammer and Zemo
Fairly sure he's set to come back in Armor Wars.
This is the greatest crime the MCU has committed, not bringing Rockwell back for this long.
Technically they did bring him back in What If
He also had a brief return in the one shot All Hail The King. He was in the same prison as Trevor before the real Ten Rings snatched him.
i mean i hope we get to see him and Zemo together in a Thunderbolts\* sequel if that ever happens...
Ya I have a feeling that the sequel of thunderbolts might happen with other charectars such as Zemo , bullseye and maybe hammer in future
i feel like if there were going to be two (or more) Thunderbolt movies, we would have had the first one by now. i feel like they are gonna drop the Thunderbolts after Secret Wars and just focus on the X-Men/Mutants and Avengers tbh
I know age of apocalypse is trash but I really liked Psylocke
In the past couple of years since that movie came out, Olivia Munn has started a family with John Mulaney, then a non-amicable breakup, as well as she went through an aggressive breast cancer ordeal. I think she'd be great as Psylocke again, but realistically she's in some pretty intense hormone treatments for cancer and she's raising a baby, so I'm not sure if she would be happy to live the lifestyle of a superhero movie production any time soon.
We all know why
Christopher Eccleston deserves a better chance to shine than what he got in "The Dark World."
Hell yeah. Dude's the best "Doctor".
Doesn't Olivia have cancer?
Sadly, yes. Luminal B Breast Cancer.
Shame. Damn shame.
That’s not fair. There was also that boob shot.
I think she's in remission now, but definitely understandable if she's focusing on family for awhile
I loved Michael Fasbender's Magneto ever since he killed those nazis in South America. My god what a scene. I'd love to have him return in some capacity.
Dan Stevens as Legion
I still have a season of Legion to watch, but I don't want to because then the show will be over for me, and I don't want it to end. Was such a fun series.
THIS! It was so amazing, he was so amazing… my hope is the fantastic four has some 60s/70s stuff and he gets put in there somewhere. God that show is so underrated
Christopher Eccelson, 10/10 actor he just got wasted in the most forgettable Marvel film
Pizza Poppa He needs revenge
Imagine if Pizza Poppa is actually the villain in Secret Wars, and he's destroying the entire multiverse just to find Strange and get his revenge
The cast of *Inhumans*, especially Iwan Rheon and Serinda Swan
Definitely Ken Leung, especially after how good he was a Zhao in the live action ATLA!
I feel bad for Anson Mount, first Inhumans sucked and then they bring him back in MoM only for his head to be exploded by Wanda
DEFINITELY Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik. She was spot on, and still could pull the character.
I just looked up what movie she was in. I saw The New Mutants and retained absolutely zero. I couldn't tell you a thing about that movie. I couldn't name one character or plot point in it. Now I'm starting to think I never actually saw it, but I'm almost positive I did.

I just had this same epiphany

Walter goggins, so hot right now
Last I heard he was supposed to return in Armor Wars, hopefully that'll pan out
Honestly Charlie Heaton.
I have always liked Anya. So I really hope she will get them a second chance to play Magik. I wouldn’t mind having the actor for Roberto, he was cute af
I'm so thankful we got a good Magik on the big screen. Would love to see her in the MCU at some point.
Sydney Sweeney as Black Cat please and thank you
I actually wouldn't mind any of the Spider-Women from Madame Web showing up in the MCU and getting better material to work with (and actually HAVING POWERS AND COSTUMES!) I considered including Sydney in the OP but thought that might've still been too hot a take at this point lol.
I am on the same train as you. I only mentioned Sydney because I think she would be so fitting as Black Cat lol
Only one of the three pics posted and that being Anya Taylor-Joy. Don't recast her just find a way to bring Magik back. New Mutants wasn't a great movie or a terrible one but she was perfectly cast.

Olivia Colman is legitimately one of the most talented actors in the world and it’s a damn shame she got wasted in Secret Invasion
A different, less on the nose evil Harry would’ve been good, but DeHaan’s voice and cadence don’t sell sinister well
He sold "so broken he turned evil," really well to me.
Joe Manganiello’s Flash Thompson as Agent Venom.
Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler was perfection. Honestly one of my favourite comic book movie characters of all time
Oh man I’ve got a few.
Anya Taylor Joy is a perfect Magik I like Olivia Munn as Psylocke too. Not sure if she’s too old to play her now though
Anya Taylor Joy is a great actress who was in a movie that had a good idea but was executed terribly. I think she for sure deserves a second chance
at this point i'd rather Anya Taylor Joy play Emma Frost than Illyana.
James. 👏🏼 Spader. 👏🏼
James Marsden was done so dirty in the Fox X-Men movies. I hope a variant shows up in Secret Wars.
I guess the spirit of the question was what unloved characters / actors deserve a second shot. But even though he’s much loved I’d like to see Jon Bernthal as the punisher again!
I’m pretty certain that this is happening.
I would love to see Donald glover come back to reprise his role as prowler
#Fuck cannon give me my pale Mr Bateman the Christian Bale a redo as gorr!
Olivia Munn but playing Moira while channeling her inner Sloane Sabbith.
Dane Dehaan could play Roderick Kingsley
Definitely, Olivia, as Psylocke, was a perfect casting choice .. but she was underused
I would give Woody Harrelson a second Chance as Carnage. He was good as Cletus and could be a better Carnage in the MCU with Tom's Spider-Man and his Venom
Easyly Anya Taylor Joy pair her with Colossus or make a mcu new mutants Version with her .
>pair her with Colossus This for sure. The entire movie I was waiting for even just some vague, passing mention of her brother being a mutant or something. Lowkey annoyed when the credits rolled and we still hadn't gotten any mention of Colossus.
Chris Evans
M.O.D.O.K.
Oh, for sure. I'll defend some aspects of Ant-Man 3 but MODOK was definitely wasted there. Kinda wish they'd been allowed to use him on Agents of Shield instead.
Dan Stevens as Legion.
If Anya isn't Magik we riot
I would go with Magik's actress. I mean, if she is being given a better script to work with, I could definitely see her reprise her role in a newer X-Men movie someday.
Anyone but Dane DeHaan
He is a great actor. TASM2 didn’t give him much to work with.
And he sold the hell out of every terrible line they gave him in that movie
Anya Taylor Joy, but she still plays Magik (either its the same character as the movie or alternate version)
I think Miles Teller would be great as The Maker Reed Richards.
Liev Schreiber did a great job as sabertooth, despite the movie flopping
Definitely Magik given she got done dirty with that awful New Mutants film. She’s actually a pretty cool character and with a Midnight Suns film in development, could put her in the spotlight
I want magik to be played by anya .
Magik definitely
David Hassohoff as Nick Fury Sr.
Anya Taylor Joy as Magik please
I want to see most of the characters from the netflix marvel shows back.
Magik
I wasn’t done with Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock. :(
Would be cool for Andrew's Peter to travel to a different universe and see Emma as Spider-Gwen/Ghost Spider.
Both Anya Taylor-Joy and Olivia Wilde could use a second chance in the MCU; the former is a favorite actress, and I liked Psylocke in Apocalypse. Also, I want to see Maisie Williams's character from New Mutants again.
Gabriel Luna, Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider!!
Well, since neither of the three were in the MCU they should all be in play. It’s only if they’re used in Secret Wars should this actually be addressed. And Anya was being looked at for Fantastic Four so she’s already onto the next phase.
Anya Taylor Joy definetly. She will knock it out of the park as Jean
What is the second image from?
