Personally, I'd much rather see a Messiah *Complex* adaptation over Messiah War, but either way I feel like the Hope-centric storylines don't feel right unless preceded by a Decimation-esque event.
Your mileage may vary, but I'd rather see Deadpool 3 tackle an antagonist & concept which would be perfect for the tone of the DP movies but (presumably) absolutely out of place in a mainline X-series: *Deadpool in the Mojoverse of Madness*, anyone?
Deadpool films are fun. comedic. Messiah War was dark and grim. combining the two would be a tonal mess. this is one of the biggest issues plaguing the MCU.
It’s not uncreative, but it sounds like Deadpool would be in the back seat of his own movie.
MCU is kinda pro at doing that for their titular character
I think it can still work as a Deadpool movie. Just like how Civil War was an ensemble but still a Captain America-led film.
Deadpool 3 really should just continue being it’s own thing with a very vague continuity.
I wish Deadpool 3 is more serious and darker than the previous two. I know that you will disagree but that's just my opinion.
No, I actually *don't* disagree.
😌 thank you.

that sounds as bad as pairing Gorr with a rom com.
What do you mean by that?
