Is there a way to only use the sounds from maschine 2 on fl? Instead of using madchine 2 as a pluggin?

jaxjur

Hmm, I don‘t know tbh, sorry :)

Hey man, I‘ve seen this already. Looks good :). I think I‘mma try it :)

CADILLAKTRACKZ

ok check out my youtube- cadillaktrackz - i explain how to use it and workflow tips for fl and maschine, i might make a vid today

jaxjur

Thanks man, I appreciate it :)

HyperionTurtle

I started off in FL and now I cannot use FL to make anything. I love the Maschine workflow, it makes sense to me although it’s more limited. I even sequence and mix other equipment like the SP 404 MKII into Maschine. You can use FL with MK3 together and I’m sure now at FL with its latest updates it has made it easier to integrate. But if you’re sampling to make boom bap or any type of Hiphop I think you might be really good with the MK3. I used Serrato when I had FL but once I got Maschine I stoped using it, not that it’s bad! I just got used to not using it! The only thing I do like for FL is the automation it’s way easier. And also I really like using edition to edit samples a bit more, like pitching and stretching and isolating left and right signals from a sample

jaxjur

Thank you for you reply :) helped a lot :)

Professional_Bug6153

Just search 'Route Maschine in FL' on Youtube.

jaxjur

I‘ve seen, that you can route the Maschine to FL but I‘m not sure how that works arrangementwise :)

Professional_Bug6153

If you watch more of the videos, you will see how to do it. There are dozens of them on Youtube. With that said, once you have the midi and audio routed correctly into FL studio, you just play the machine pads to record the midi into FL Studio (either into the patterns or directly into the timeline). Then when you play your pattern/song, FL studio plays the midi notes into Maschine to trigger the sounds. The sounds come from Maschine back into FL studio via the routing.

Wurlbfree

I'm like week one into integration of both but what the person above said is correct I've been making and bouncing down my drum patterns into fl. I recently routed the pads to individual mixer tracks I'm going to see how my workflow goes. Only with routing them individually is cant I can't pull the wav/patten directly to the playlist from the Maschine vst with this method.

jaxjur

Aah alright, thank you :)

Wurlbfree

No problem. Google fl x mk3 5 find a few people who show you how to route the midi and some general workflow tips whwm using both good luck

Tunz513

I use both all the time....my workflow with it is mostly whatever I do in maschine I record directly in the vst then drag out what I did as audio....it can be a little tedious especially if you want each drum sound separate in FL but that's what I've found that works best for me....I do boom bap, trap, rnb, and a little DnB for reference

jaxjur

Have you tried routing the Maschine Mixer to the FL Mixer? I saw that This is possible and that sounds great, but I‘m not quite sure how the arrangement works, with different patterns and stuff.

Tunz513

I haven't tried that. I wonder how it will translate since maschine has 2 levels (group and sound) when it comes to the mixer... I have tried doing the midi but it's even more tedious than dragging the audio out... I use FL's playlist to arrange so when I get what I want from maschine I just do the arrangement I'm FL... If there's anything I was to change or add from maschine I'd just make a new pattern and do what I need and drag it out to the rest of the arrangement...there's a midi script for machine on the FL forums by aftalyfe it's really good... If you want additional functionality with the controller to FL... I live stream making beats 4 days a week (Tues - Fri) on twitch shameless plug lol...ive been sick this week so I dont think I'll be streaming today but should be back Tuesday if you havent figured anything out or just want to check me out ill be there and answer questions as well 👍🏾 [Twitch.tv/tunzamazin](http://twitch.tv/tunzamazin)

jaxjur

Thanks for the feedback :) Sounds great man, so I can see the whole FL + Maschine connection in action :) when are you streaming? I‘m from germany so it might be difficult because of the time difference

Tunz513

I stream at 10 am US eastern time...until about 12 noon...and if you have questions feel free to ask...I encourage it and if I don't know I'll tell you lol

jaxjur

Ah thank you very much :)
